Abstract

Misi menjadi fokus penting bagi pengikut Yesus Kristus. Perintah tersebut menekankan orang percaya untuk melakukan tindakan misi penginjilan kepada orang-orang yang belum mendengar Injil. Namun problematika muncul dalam memahami misi dalam konteks orang percaya yang mengalami disabilitas, yang mana mereka tidak dapat melakukan perintah Amanat Agung untuk pergi memberitakan Injil karena kecacatan. Melalui metode studi pustaka penelitian ini mendeskripsikan reformulasi teologi misi dalam konteks disabilitas. Hasil dari penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa orang percaya yang menyandang disabilitas tetap dapat melakukan misi pemberitaan Injili sama dengan orang percaya lainnya, namun dengan pola dan prinsip yang berbeda namun satu tujuan yaitu Yesus Kristus disaksikan dan diberitakan.

Abstract

Abstract

The Israel's honorific label was given by the LORD God to the Israelites who had just come out of Egypt at Mount Sinai. Explaining the identity label, then understanding the Israel’s honor label certainly aims to form the social and spiritual identity of the Israelites. This article will discuss the meaning and function of honor labels through interdisciplinary studies between biblical studies using textual criticism and social psychology sciences, namely SIT. By using these two disciplines, the writer gets a fresher and brighter interpretation, especially regarding the meaning and function of Israel's honorific label in Exodus 19:6. From the research that has been done, the meaning of the honorific labels “מַמְלֶ֥כֶת כֹּהֲנִ֖ים” (mamlekhet kohanim) and “ג֣וֹי קָד֑וֹשׁ” (goy qadosh) is to express the identity of a nation of slaves who have been elevated to a kingdom of priests and a holy nation by GOD who has made a covenant with their forefather Abraham. Meanwhile, the function of giving the honorary label in Social Identity Theory/SIT's point of view is to raise the nation's self-esteem, express the appreciation contained in faith and encourage the nation to behave in accordance with their social and spiritual identity as the "Kingdom of Priests" and "Holy Nation"

Abstract

Still a lot to discuss about the effect of learning media on increasing students' cognitive abilities. Although the increase in cognitive abilities can be proven through the achievements of students, it must have a large portion in the discussion of media that is less attention at this time. To prove this, the writer conducted a literature study by examining the narrative of God's call to Moses in Exodus 3 and 4, aware of his divine calling. With educational nuances, it can be said that God has cognitively understood knowledge of his calling and sending. Through the media, Musa experienced a cognitive increase in his mind so that he did not hesitate to step into Egypt and hastened Israel's ability to experience an increase in Egypt's ability. In this study, the authors analyzed four media that God used as learning media, namely thorn bushes, sticks, hands and Aaron, Musa's brother. It was through these four media that Moses understood correctly what his real calling in life was.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to find out the impact experienced by teachers in curriculum changes and find the right strategy to be applied to students. In this paper, there are teachers who are not ready and less enthusiastic in improving their competence so that they find the right strategy to teach students. The method used is a qualitative research method by examining the extent to which changes in the Christian religious education curriculum have an impact on teachers' strategies in teaching in schools. In the analysis process, the author uses various sources of literature as references such as books, journals and interviews to support the author's analysis. The results found by the author are related to the teacher's strategy in dealing with curriculum changes, namely by increasing their competence through training (Worksop), classroom action research, following the times, and conducting discussions with colleagues as explained in this article. Thus teachers are able to teach in schools with the right strategy even in the midst of curriculum changes that occur.

Abstract

Church Leaders are expected to have positive values in their life, not only in the church / ministry life, but also in the society or marketplace life, that is in family, work, business and so on. These leaders are expected to inspire the followers by imparting positive values through positive conducts and behaviors. The problems rise when the expectancy and the reality are not matched. This journal describes the Leadership Values model taught by Jesus through His sermon on the mount that includes 5 dimensions of life: spiritual, missional, relational, developmental and eternal. The implementation of this model is then studied on 565 church leaders in Indonesia as the population that come from different regions and denominations. Explanatory quantitative method through survey is used. The result shows that the church leaders often implemented the values, and the spiritual dimension is the dominant factor affecting their leadership values

Abstract

Evangelism is an important focus for followers of Jesus Christ. The commandment emphasizes believers to carry out acts of evangelistic missions to people who have not heard the gospel. However, problems arise in understanding mission in the context of believers with disabilities, who are unable to carry out the Great Commission's command to go preach the gospel because of their disability. Through the literature study method, this research describes the reformulation of evangelistic theology for believers who do not have physical disabilities to believers in the context of people with physical disabilities. The results of this study explain that believers with disabilities can still carry out the mission of preaching, evangelism the same as other believers, but with different patterns and principles but with one goal, namely Jesus Christ being witnessed and preached.
