Abstract

Employee Competency, Management Information System, ParticipantSatisfaction. This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of employee competenciesand management information systems on the satisfaction of participants in the Social SecurityService Agency (BPJS) in Pangkalan Kerinci. The study population was all participants totaling5049 people, researchers took 100 people as samples with cluster sampling technique. Datacollection methods were carried out by distributing questionnaires filled by participants. Inaddition, the researchers also conducted a literature review. Methods of data analysis usingmultiple linear regression using the help of SPSS version 18. The results showed that partially thecompetence of employees significantly influence participants' satisfaction. While the managementinformation system has a positive and significant effect on the satisfaction of BPJS participants inPangkalan Kerinci. Simultaneously employee competencies and management information systemshave a positive and significant effect on the satisfaction of BPJS participants in Pangkalan Kerinci.The coefficient of determination of employee competencies and management information systemson participant satisfaction was 77.4%. While the remaining 26.6% is an indication of other factorsnot examined in this study.

Abstract

Implementation of the Tourism and Culture Office Policy on Hapanasan Leading Tourism Objects. This study aims to determine the implementation of the Tourism and Culture Department's policy on superior tourism objects hapanasan. Research informants are the head of the tourism department, tourism development staff, community, visitors and tour guards. The sampling technique uses snowball sampling, data collection techniques are carried out by interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis by using data tringulation. The results show that in the implementation of superior tourism development, hapanasan is still not optimal. There are still many facilities and infrastructures that must be equipped, limited resources, minimal communication and less costs to renovate.

Abstract

Implementation of Public Policy of Riau Province Regional Regulation Number 6of 2012. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of Riau ProvincialRegulation No. 6 of 2012 concerning Corporate Social Responsibility in Riau Province. Thisresearch is descriptive and explorative qualitative research. The research informants were theDumai City Government bureaucracy, the Industry and Trade Office, the company and thecommunity in Dumai, Buluh Kasab and Datuk Laksamana. Data collection techniques areinterviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis uses interactive models through theprocess of data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing or data verification. From theresults of the study it was found that the implementation of the Riau provincial government policyon the Corporate Social Responsibility and the Environment was not effective.

Abstract

Policies of District Expansion and Community Service. This study aims to determinethe efforts of the policy of accelerating the expansion of the districts and to determine what factorsare related to the policy of the expansion of the districts. The type of research is a qualitativeapproach. The research informants were 12 people taken by the Chairman and Members of DPRD,Chairman and Members of BPD, Bureau of Government, Sekcam, Village Head and CommunityLeader. Data collection techniques that the author did with observation, Documentation, andinterviews. Analysis of data that the authors used in this study is an interactive analysis model. Theresults of the research show that the district of Bantan has not been bloomed because there hasbeen no proposal about the pemekaran from the village of Bantan kecmatan. Bantan sub-districtinhibiting factors are not established ie no good communication exists between the village andsub-district, as well as communication between the regional head and the regional parliament onthe expansion of the districts. In terms of resources, there is no expert to conduct an assessment ofsub-district pemekaran. As for the disposition they agreed but none became the implementor of thepolicy of the expansion of the districts. Furthermore, about the bureaucracy in doubt of the newlaw, namely Law No. 23 of 2014 on local government has not replaced government regulation No.19 of 2008 on the district.

Abstract

Competence, Work Environment and Service Quality. This study aims to determineand analyze the influence of competence, work environment together and partially on the qualityof service at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences UIN Suska Riau. This type of researchis a quantitative approach with survey methods and data analysis is quantitative / statistical. Theannouncement of primary data through a questionnaire on 98 employee respondents at the Facultyof Economics and Social Sciences UIN Suska Riau as well as secondary data throughorganizational data relating to the problem under study. Data analysis method uses Multiple LinearRegression with the help of SPSS application. The results showed that together the variables ofcompetence, work environment significantly influence the service quality of employees with fcount (77.949)> f table (3.09) and the contribution coefficient of determination (R2) is 62.1%.37.1% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

Management of Rural and Urban Land and Building Taxes: This study aims toknow management of rurar and urban land and building taxes of of Siak Regency in 2011-2015.Type of Research which is a qualitative approach. Qualitative data which is the result of interviewsand a list of research objects. The data obtained is then analyzed through organizing data,translated into units, compiled into patterns, choosing which data is important and which will bestudied, elaborating in the form of words and sentences and as long as making conclusions.Research informants were section, intensification, extensification and billing sections. The resultsof the study indicate that the PBB P2 which cannot be said maximal because there are stillintersecting, among others update database, inadequate Human Resources and facilities that havenot accommodated PBB P2.

Abstract

Innovation Strategy of Hewlett-Packard Indonesia to Compete in InformationTechnology Industry. Research objectives : 1. Analyze the quality level of Hewlett-Packard (HP)Indonesia services provided to its customers in Indonesia, 2. Analyzing to what extent thedelegation of authority of Hewlett-Packard (HP) headquarters to Hewlett-Packard (HP) Indonesiawhich includes autonomy discretion in innovating both in terms of process and measurementinstruments (support). Knowing the information technology industry strategy in the case study isHewlett-Packard (HP) strategy in building a culture of continuous innovation that can becategorized as a strategic innovation. This study is generated through quantitative and qualitativemethod by disseminating questinaire to 112 loyal customers which have been at least 3 yearsexperience with Hewlett-Packard (HP) Indonesia as well as have spent at least 1 (one) million US$every year and interview top management of Hewlett-Packard (HP) Asia Pacific and Hewlett-Packard (HP) Indonesia. The result of research found human capital and the role of topmanagementhave played a very important role-model to implement A-to-F model in innovationand disseminate a socialization, externalization, combination and internalization (SECI) in spiralmode within company to create innovation culture. It is purposed to manage their sustainability oflife and growth in a changing strategic environment in Indonesia.

Abstract

Strategic Planning of Village Development (Village). This study aims to findout the development strategy of Kampung Sabak Auh Siak District. This research usesdescriptive qualitative research method. Primary data is obtained directly from keyinformants, ie stakeholders or layers required by the researcher. Secondary data is obtainedfrom research documents. In this study, the author uses SWOT analysis, namely internalfactors about strength (Strength) and Weakness (weakness) and the results of analysis ofexternal factors of opportunity (opportunity) and treatment (threats). The results of thisstudy indicate some strategic planning that can be carried out, namely human resourcedevelopment, community economy, health services and infrastructure development.

Abstract

Management of Hotel Taxes and Restaurant Taxes. This study aims to find out hoteland restaurant taxes in order to increase the Regional Original Income Pelalawan District. Thistype of research is qualitative. The research informant is Head of Secretary of BPKAD, Head ofDivision and Taxpayer. Technical data are interviews and documentation studies. Data analysisusing interactive models. The results showed that the constitution of hotel and restaurant taxmanagement on the Realization of Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) is still very minimum.

Abstract

Evaluation of Results of Refreshing Training for Family Planning Field Planning.The purpose of this study was to find out the refreshing training of family planning extensionofficers of the BKKBN Representative Office of Riau Province in 2017. This study used aquantitative descriptive approach. The study population was all trainees totaling 100 people.Primary data is obtained directly by using questionnaires, interviews, observation anddocumentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical methods based on Likert scale.The results showed that every indicator in the refreshing training program at the Family PlanningField Extension Workers (PLKB) Representative Office of the BKKBN of Riau Province in 2017was good and quite good. Resource persons' activities in refreshing training were good enough,with the average response rate of respondents 3.39. Motivation of participants to take refreshingtraining is good.
