Abstract

Support from family and friends is needed in the management of people with hypertension. The family is a support system in the life of people with hypertension, so that their condition does not get worse and avoid complications due to hypertension. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family support and the behavior of the elderly in controlling hypertension at Tiga Balata Health Center, Simalungun Regency. This study uses a quantitative method, this type of research is analytic with a cross sectional approach. The population of this study were 33 hypertensive patients at Tiga Balata Health Center. The sample of this research is 33 respondents. Most of the elderly have good family support as many as 17 respondents (52.8%). And most of the elderly have good behavior as many as 20 respondents (60.6%). Chi-square test results with a significance level of 0.05 indicate that the p value is 0.000 ± 0.05, meaning H, it is accepted that there is a relationship between family support and elderly behavior in controlling hypertension at Tiga Balata Health Center, Simalungun Regency. The result of Chi Square 0.573 is positive, which means that the poorer the family support, the lower the behavior of the elderly. Good family support with good elderly behavior 14 respondents (87.5%) and good family support with bad elderly behavior 2 respondents (12.5%), poor family support with good elderly behavior 3 respondents (17.6%) and family support not good with the behavior of the elderly is not good 14 respondents (82.4%). The behavior of the elderly in controlling hypertension must at least be accompanied by a good family and also good motivation from the family.

Abstract

Elderly Posyandu is an integrated service post for the elderly in a certain area that has been agreed upon, which is driven by the community where they can get health services. This study aims to determine the knowledge of the elderly about the elderly Posyandu in the Village of Sinar Sabungan, District of Bonatua Lunasi, Tobasa Regency. This research method is descriptive, where the elderly population is 57 people, the sampling technique is done by total sampling, and the sample that meets the research criteria and fills out a questionnaire is 57 respondents. Data collection was carried out from 21 April 2021 to 24 May 2021 using a questionnaire which consisted of two parts: the first was about demographic data, the second part was Knowledge of the elderly about the Elderly Posyandu in Sinar Sabungan Village, Bonatua Lunasi District, Tobasa Regency. From the data analysis it is known that out of 57 respondents there are 51 respondents (89.5%) who have good knowledge, 6 respondents (10.5%) who have sufficient knowledge and no respondent (0%) who has less knowledge. This shows that the knowledge of the elderly about the elderly posyandu is good. It is recommended that health center staff continue to improve the elderly posyandu program and provide health education as well as socialize the existence and benefits of elderly posyandu services.

Abstract

Family support is needed to provide a person's physical and psychological comfort when experiencing illness. Family support is very important for the survival of DM sufferers, so that with good family support, the quality of support will be good. This study aims to determine the relationship of family support to the quality of life of DM sufferers. This is a quantitative study using a cross-sectional design approach. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling. This research was conducted in July-August 2019 in the Melati room at Vita Insani Hospital, Pematangsiantar. Hypothesis analysis used the 2x2 chi-square test. middle class, income Rp. 750 000.00 and Rp. 750,000.00 Rp. 1452 400.00, suffering from DM for an average of 6 years. Families with DM sufferers, mostly in the middle adult age, have a relationship between children and sufferers of DM, female sex. 42 respondents (80.8%) 37 respondents (71.2%) had a poor quality of life. There was a relationship between family support and the quality of life of DM sufferers (p-0.046). Family support was related to the quality of life of DM sufferers. Nurses should involve families of DM sufferers in providing nursing care. Further research should examine the analysis of the factors that most influence the quality of life of DM sufferers and conduct research in a hospital.

Abstract

Community behavior in seeking treatment varies, influenced by several factors, namely: motivation, knowledge, distance to the health center, health workers, treatment costs, and health facilities. This study aims to identify the factors that influence people to go to the Health Center for treatment by using an exploratory descriptive design. The number of samples in this study were 100 respondents who were visitors to the Bandar Masilam Public Health Center, Bandar Masilam District, Simalungun Regency. Sampling using convenience sampling technique in accordance with the research criteria. Data collection was carried out from April 14 to May 30 2014 using a demographic data questionnaire and a questionnaire on factors influencing people to seek treatment at the Health Center, totaling 30 (thirty) statements. The majority of the factors that influenced people to seek treatment at the Health Center were health workers (94%), motivation (90%), medical expenses (80%), health facilities (82%), while the factors that generally had no effect were knowledge (84). %) and the distance to the health center (80%). For this reason, the Health Center needs to carry out socialization efforts that are more related to the various programs and services that have been held at the Health Center. Researchers recommend conducting further research using a larger sample size so that the research results are more accurate.

Abstract

Immunization is an effective way to provide immunity, especially to someone who is healthy, with the main goal of reducing morbidity and mortality due to various diseases that can be prevented by immunization. One of them is measles, which often attacks children under the age of five. The research objective was to determine the results of the basic immunization program coverage against the Minimum Immunization Service Standards. The research design used in this study is a descriptive study design. The number of samples in this study from the Raja Maligas in Silakkidir Village, Huta Bayu Raja District, Simalungun Regency was 47 people. with the sampling technique in this study using total sampling. Data analysis used is descriptive analysis. The results of the research on immunization coverage at Raja Maligas in Silakkidir Village showed that the majority of babies had received basic immunization HB 0, DPT/HB 1, DPT/HB 2, DPT/HB 3, POLIO 1, POLIO 2, POLIO 3 as many as 47 people (100% ) and a minority of infants received basic immunizations for BCG, POLIO 4, and MEASLES, respectively 95.7%, 97.9% and 95.7%. From the results of this study it is known that the coverage of the basic immunization program at the Raja Maligas has reached the Immunization Minimum Service Standards (SPM) in accordance with those set by the Government. So it is recommended that immunization officers at the health center continue to provide complete basic immunization services to every baby before the age of 1 year.

Abstract

Posyandu activities throughout Indonesia are carried out once a month or more, where activities carried out by posyandu refer to the 5 table system. Completeness of infant immunization is the fulfillment of artificial active immunization required by the government, namely BCG, HBO, DPT/HB, Polio, and Measles. The research objective was to describe the implementation of the posyandu program and the completeness of infant immunization. This research is a descriptive explorative research. The study population was mothers with children aged 1-2 years who had come to posyandu in Kasindir Village, Jorlang Hataran District, Simalungun Regency, namely 70 people with a total sampling technique. However, those who were willing to be research respondents were 64 people. Data were analyzed descriptively with a computerized program. The implementation of the posyandu program in Jorlang Hataran District, Simalungun Regency, based on the research results, has gone well (90.6%), but there are still a number of activities that have not been fully implemented including the presence of doctors (26.6%), health counseling (29.7%) , facilities and infrastructure needed in the implementation of Posyandu (48.4%). For the completeness of infant immunization, most of them have received complete immunization, amounting to 85.9%. From the results of this study it is hoped that health workers at the Tiga Balata Health Center can maintain and increase the role of the posyandu for the community in their working area, and it is hoped that the puskesmas staff will increase their presence in every posyandu activity

Study this aim for knowledge teenager with prevention cancer breasts ". Relationship Level Type study this is type study type survey with share questionnaire done on the month July until september. Population in study this is high school students Park students ripening. The results of the chi square statistical test analysis were carried out for see There is relationship or No There is connection level knowledge teenager daughter with prevention cancer breast obtained mark significance (p-value) 0.02. The test results show mark significance more small than 0.05 (0.01 <0.05) then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted It means there is significant relationship between level knowledge with prevention cancer breast class X at Taman Siswa High School Pematangsiantar 2022 year.

Abstract

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Acguired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) have become serious health problems in the 20th century. HIV-AIDS in adolescents needs attention. The highest proportion of AIDS was in the age group of 20-29 years (47.2 % ), the at-risk group of adolescents, aged 15-18 years, is a group that is vulnerable to STIs (Sexually Transmitted Infections) with the largest number of people living with HIV-AIDS. National statistical data on HIV-AIDS sufferers in Indonesia, aged 15-24 years contribute 40% of all new HIV infections, every day more than 2500 teenagers are infected and more than 5.7 million teenagers are living with HIV-AIDS. There were 476 people living with HIV who were registered. This type of research is a cross-sectional survey research design. And the results of this study stated that there was a significant relationship between information sources, living environment, and age with adolescent knowledge about HIV-AIDS prevention with a chi-sguare p value = 0.000. The most widely used information source was electronic media of 53, 8 %. Residential environment, 64.8 % of respondents live with their parents. The majority of respondents are aged 13-15 years, namely 56% and those who have a good level of knowledge are 23.1 % . Based on the regression analysis, it was stated that information sources contributed to knowledge by 10.6 % , living environment contributed to knowledge by 11.9%, age contributed to knowledge by 27.9%. And the most dominant contribution to knowledge is age, which is equal to 27.9 %.

Abstract

Guarantee Childbirth ( Jampersal ) is guarantee financing service childbirth which includes inspection pregnancy , help delivery , service childbirth including service family planning (KB) post childbirth and services baby new born by force health at the facility health. Jampersal aim lower Number Death Mother (NDM) and numbers Death Directed Babies (DDB) in Indonesia in enhancement quality service health. Jampersal must notice service quality health to create satisfaction patient. Type study This is study descriptive with approach purposeful retrospective identify influencing factors satisfaction patient user Jampersal to service health at the Health Center Gunung Maligas Regency Simalungun. Sample in research this is existing mothers Once using Jampersal program start from gestation until the puerperium, and do installation tool contraception. Taking sample with simple random sampling technique with amount sample as many as 51 people. Research results showing that majority patient user Jampersal feel satisfied to service health (92.2%) in Gunung Maligas Subdistrict, where the average value of satisfaction patient each factor is satisfying that is access service health (76.5%), quality service health (92.2%), service process health (88.2%), and systems service health (78.4%). Expected officer health Keep going give quality service for reach satisfaction patient.
