Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of managerial ownership, institutional ownership, board size, independent board size, board size and the size of the value of the company on the companies included in the LQ 45 index in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. Of the population of firms that enter in LQ 45 during the period of 2009-2011, taken nineteen sampel. Alat companies that meet the criteria of analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis by first covering the classical assumption of normality test, multikolonieritas, autocorrelation, heteroskedasticity. The results showed a significant variable that is partially managerial ownership. While the variable institutional ownership, board size, board size independent, board size and size has no effect on firm value.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the beta value of shares listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) is a bias beta due to nonsynchronous trading activities. There are 310 companies listed on the Stock Exchange 2009-2012 period sampled in this study. The bias needs to be corrected. From three methods employed : the Scholes and Williams (1977), the Dimson (1979), and the Fowler and Rorke (1983). Results of the analysis conclude that the shares on the Stock Exchange has a bias beta caused by not having a securities trading for some time. This resulted in the calculation of IHSG the period of t was biased because it uses the closing price of the period t-1. In this study bias beta correction method Scholes and Williams (1977), both one lag one lead and two lag two lead are better than the bias beta correction method Dimson (1979) and the bias beta correction method Fowler and Rorke (1983) because the value of beta Scholes and Williams after corrected close to one.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the effect of firm ownership, firm size, diversification, and good corporate governance on risk management implementation, and effect of risk management on firm value in the basic industry and chemicals sector listed on the IDX from 2016 to 2019.The research employs an explanatory method with a unit of analysis that focuses on the annual financial statements of companies in the basic industry and chemicals sector, with a population totaling 72 companies, and a sample of 40 companies using the purposive sampling technique. In addition, tests were conducted while the validity and reliability tests using smartpls software.According to the findings of this research, firm size, diversification, and good corporate governance have a significant effect on risk management implementation, while firm ownership does not have a significant effect on risk management implementation. Furthermore, risk management does not have a significant effect on the firm value.

Abstract

We investigate the effect of family-CEO on firm’s dividend policy at Indonesia firm of Consumer Goods sector in 2016-2020. In this study, researchers focused on dividend policy by applying the family firm literature and agency problem theory to obtain or detect differences. This research use multiple regression analysis with Eviews software. We show that family-CEO firms pay same amount of dividends with nonfamily-CEO firms do. Empirically, this study proves that family CEO companies do not have a significant relationship with dividend policy, with the hypothesis being examined that family CEO companies pay less dividends than non-family CEO companies and the direction of influence of the company Family CEO on dividend policy is negative. In addition, that direct ownership has a significant positive effect on dividend policy. This shows that the company with direct ownership, the higher the company distributes dividends to shareholders. Investors can use this research to get more information about family firm before investing on it. Keywords: family-CEO, dividend policy, family firm

Abstract

This study aimed to provide an academic justification for the effectiveness of Instagram as a medium to promote the products of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the food and beverage sector so that people's buying interest and its sales turnover could increase. Primary data was collected through a research questionnaire using Likert scale. The analytical tool used was multiple linear regression which aimed to predict the effect of the effectiveness of promotion through Instagram on consumers buying interest using the AIDA concept (Attention, Interest, Desire, and Attention) for Gerobak Elba culinary products. The research sample was 100 active Instagram account owners acted as Gerobak Elba followers or have ever heard or seen "Gerobak Elba" IG account which promoted its culinary products through Instagram. The results showed that there were simultaneous significant effect of the Context (X1), Communication (X2), Collaboration (X3), and Connection (X4) dimensions on the customers Buying Interest (Y) for Gerobak Elba culinary products. The hypothesis testing results of the partial influence of each dimension showed that only the Collaboration (X3) dimension had a significant effect on the customers Buying Interest (Y) for Gerobak Elba culinary products

Abstract

This research aims to obtain evidence of the effect of stakeholders’ pressure, such as pressure from consumer, shareholder, creditor, employee, government, mass media, and community and environmental activist toward the quality of company’s sustainability report disclosure in Indonesia. The population in this research were the Indonesian companies that join to be participants in Asia Sustainability Reporting Rating (ASRRAT) 2019. This research used the purposive sampling method. Data were analyzed by ordinal logistic regression using IBM SPSS 24. The result showed that the pressure from community and environmental activist improves the quality of sustainability report disclosure. It means that higher the pressure from consumer, community and environmental activist to company will increase the quality of sustainability reporting disclosure. On other hand, the pressure from shareholder, creditor, employee, government and mass media to quality of company’s sustainability report disclosure influence with a lower level of confidence. Stakeholder pressure affects the quality of sustainability report disclosure by 44,6%, while 55,4% level of quality can be influenced by other factors

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap etos kerja prajurit Puspomal, mengetahui pengaruh disiplin terhadap etos kerja prajurit Puspomal, dan mengetahui pengaruh budaya organisasi dan disiplin secara simultan terhadap etos kerja prajurit Puspomal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan explanatory research (penelitian eksplanatori) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan melalui studi kepustakaan, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Nilai T-statistic variabel Budaya Organisasi terhadap Etos Kerja adalah sebesar 2,040 (lebih besar dari 1,96) dan nilai P-Values sebesar 0,042 (kurang dari 0,05), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Budaya Organisasi berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap Etos Kerja prajurit Puspomal. Nilai T-statistic variabel Disiplin terhadap Etos Kerja adalah sebesar 8,150 (lebih besar dari 1,96) dan nilai P-Values sebesar 0,000 (kurang dari 0,05), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Disiplin berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap Etos Kerja prajurit Puspomal. Berdasarkan perhitungan uji simultan diketahui bahwa nilai F hitung sebesar 406,249 (lebih besar dari nilai Ftabel : 3,06), nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,920 (positif) dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (lebih kecil dari nilai probabilitas 0,05), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Budaya Organisasi dan Disiplin secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Etos Kerja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh kompetensi dan budaya organisasi terhadap produktivitas kerja Disbekal. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah personel Disbekal sebanyak 112 orang dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 88 orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah explanatory research dengan hypothesis testing untuk menguji tiga hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian. Pengolahan data menggunakan tools SPSS 23 terhadap uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji multikolinearitas, uji regresi sederhana dan uji regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Kompetensi berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja, Budaya organisasi berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja, Kompetensi dan budaya organisasi berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja. Kesimpulan penelitian ini secara umum adalah terdapat pengaruh kompetensi dan budaya organisasi secara parsial dan simultan terhadap produktivitas kerja Disbekal, dan tiga hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini seluruhnya terbukti diterima.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between workload (X1) and work stress (X2) on employee performance (Y) with the effect of mediation burnout (Z) on the employees of PT. Sapta Sari Tama Banjarmasin Branch. This research method uses a sampling technique which is a sampling technique where all members of the population are used as samples with 33 employees of PT Sapta Sari Tama Banjarmasin branch obtained by survey method by giving questionnaires to respondents. Measurement of variables is measured using scale Likert with a weighting scale from 1 to 5. The method of analysis in this study using Partial Least Square is considered fitting with this study which only has 33 respondents. Based on research data it can be concluded that workload has no effect on burnout employee, but workload has an effect on employee performance. Work stress affects burnout employee, but work stress does not affect employee performance. While burnout has no effect on employee performance and employee performance is not affected by work stress or burnout employee, because employees are aware that the company will provide compensation in accordance with the work they do. The results of the study found that there is an influence of work stress on burnout employee with support between employees and superiors can be a motivation so that employees can contribute better. Future studies, should be added to some variables such as compensation and motivation which influence on employee performance.

Abstract

The study was carried out explain the feasibility of the investment plan for additional garbage truck by Banjarmasin Environmental Service, viewed from the investment criteria assessment namely in the term of technical, social and econimic feasibility. It was a quantitative descriptive study. The data obtained in the form of Budget Execution Document, Local Revenue Receipt Report, Waste Retribution, and direct interview. The analysis technique is: knowing the source of investment funds, creating a forecast of retribution income during the economic age, making a forecast of operating cost over economic age, evaluating investment proposal with technical analysis, social and economic using NPV, IRR, CBA. The result indicated that (1) From the result of technical aspect and social aspects, the government investment investment for additional garbage truck is feasible to implement. (2) Net Present Value (NPV) method with a social discount rate 9% results negative NPV of Rp.-764.123.860. It means that the investment for additional garbage truck is not feasible. (3) The value of Internal Rate of Return (IRR) is not able to be found since the present value of cost is all negative. So, a positive NPV cannot be found. (4) From Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) method, comparison result between benefit/cost yields a number of 0.49 which means less than 1. Thus, the feasibility analysis of the investment for additional garbage truck is not feasible.
