Abstract

Limited instructional time and the lack of interactive learning media have contributed to low Physics learning outcomes, particularly in understanding abstract concepts. These conditions indicate the need for an effective digital learning solution that integrates structured instructional strategies and multimedia support. This study aims to develop and evaluate a multimedia-based e-learning model using the LEARN (Listen, Explore, Apply, Reflect, and Navigate) learning strategy to improve the Physics learning outcomes of 10th-grade students. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach by integrating the Borg and Gall model with the Lee and Owens framework. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, expert validation instruments, and learning outcome tests. The developed e-learning model was validated by material, media, and instructional design experts and tested through one-to-one, small-group, and large-group trials. The effectiveness of the model was examined using a quasi-experimental design with experimental and control groups. The results indicate that the multimedia-based e-learning model is highly feasible and leads to higher learning gains compared to conventional learning modules. In conclusion, multimedia-based e-learning can effectively enhance Physics learning outcomes in learning environments with limited face-to-face instructional time.

Abstract

Ecological issues have gained increasing attention in educational contexts, particularly in Indonesian language learning, where literary activities can support environmental awareness and character education. This study examines the ecological values represented in poetry written by eighth-grade students of Sabilillah Islamic Boarding School (SIBS), Lamongan. Focusing on four ecological values human-environment relationships, environmental awareness, environmental responsibility, and environmentally caring actions this research employed a qualitative descriptive method using an ecocritical approach. The data consisted of 58 environmentally themed poems collected through intensive reading and note-taking techniques. The analysis was conducted by identifying ecological value indicators reflected in themes, diction, imagery, symbols, and moral messages. The findings reveal that students' poems portray nature as a vital life-support system and emphasize the interconnectedness between humans and the environment. Ecological values are expressed through respect for nature, moral appeals to protect the environment, and concrete actions such as conserving resources and maintaining environmental cleanliness. The study concludes that poetry is an effective medium for fostering ecological awareness and environmentally responsible character in Indonesian language learning, demonstrating students' capacity to articulate environmental concerns through literary expression.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and formulate an effective Principal’s strategic model for improving teacher performance through the strengthening of an integrated Educational Human Resource Management (EHRM) cycle. The method employed is a literature study (library research), conducted through thematic synthesis and content analysis of 15 reputable journals published within the period 2015–2025. The synthesis results indicate that optimal improvement in teacher performance is achieved through the implementation of Principal-led strategies driven by Transformational Leadership and focused on three pillars of EHRM: (1) Needs-Based Planning (Needs Assessment); (2) Internal Continuous Professional Development (CPD), such as Lesson Study and Coaching, which function as Intellectual Stimulation; and (3) a Formative Evaluation System supported by Strategic Rewards. These findings successfully formulate a Principal Strategic Model (PSM) in the strengthening of EHRM that is cyclical and integrated. This study concludes that the success of the Principal as a strategic leader lies in the ability to integrate all EHRM functions to create a school culture conducive to continuous professional growth, which ultimately directly enhances teacher performance and commitment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development, trends, applications, and research gaps of the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) Evaluation Model in the field of education over the past decade (2015–2025). This review employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach guided by PRISMA 2020, based on a structured search in the Scopus database using Boolean codes. The selection process followed the four PRISMA stages: identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion, resulting in 22 relevant articles for in-depth analysis. The findings indicate that the CIPP model remains a dominant and adaptable evaluation framework across diverse educational contexts, ranging from primary and secondary education to higher education and professional training. The thematic analysis reveals a methodological shift toward mixed methods, expert-based evaluation techniques (such as Delphi and AHP), as well as data-driven and technology-enhanced approaches. The Context and Input components demonstrate the highest performance, whereas the Process and Product components still require improvement. Despite its wide application, research gaps persist, particularly in longitudinal evaluation, digital-based assessment, and theoretical integration. This study offers a theoretical contribution by updating the state of the art of the CIPP model and provides practical insights for policymakers and educators to strengthen evidence-based and outcome-oriented educational evaluation practices.

Abstract

This study investigates ideological representations in the Indonesian contemporary novel Pulang by Tere Liye through Teun A. van Dijk’s Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) model. The research aims to reveal how language in the novel functions as a medium of ideology and social critique. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the analysis focuses on macrostructure, superstructure, and microstructure to interpret selected textual excerpts. The findings demonstrate that Pulang conveys three dominant ideologies. First, moral humanism, which highlights honesty, self-awareness, and humanity as guiding values. Second, social nationalism, which emphasizes family, local traditions, and homeland as moral foundations. Third, anti-capitalism combined with spirituality, which critiques materialistic dominance and underscores the pursuit of inner peace. These ideologies position the novel not only as a literary narrative but also as a discourse that reflects social criticism and offers moral and spiritual insights. The study concludes that Pulang contributes to understanding how contemporary Indonesian literature articulates ideological perspectives in response to modern social challenges.
