Abstract

Abstract. This aims to analyze concept of mantunu in the Rambu Solo’ as a shaper of early childhood work ethic in Sesean, North Toraja. The method used is qualitative to complete the information according to the problem being studied. Parents say that: when parents die "many children, there are more burnt victims ". A paradoxical concept, about the presence of the child in the family as a "money maker". Parents educate their children from their culture. The results of study show that practice of mantunu is part of a life pattern that is ingrained in life of Toraja people specifically in traditional area of Sesean. The concept of mantunu is seen as an act of motivation to children to be hardworking, tenacious, diligent and diligent. Work ethic seen as content of character education in family, which makes parents open to various changes and seeks change the child's life through education. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep mantunu dalam upacara rambu solo’ sebagai pembentuk etos kerja anak usia dini di Kecamatan Sesean, Toraja Utara. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif untuk merampungkan informasi sesuai dengan masalah yang dikaji.Orangtua mengatakan bahwa: ketika orangtua meninggal “banyak anak, maka makin banyak korban bakaran (tunuan)”. Ini merupakan sebuah konsep yang bersifat paradoks, tentang kehadiran anak dalam keluarga sebagai “penghasil uang”. Orangtua mendidik anak-anak mereka dari budaya yang mereka anut. Hasil dari penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa praktik mantunu merupakan bagian dari pola kehidupan yang sudah mendarah daging dalam kehidupan orang Toraja secara khusus di wilayah adat Kecamatan Sesean. Konsep mantunu dipandang sebagai tindakan motivasi kepada anak-anak untuk menjadi pekerja keras, ulet, rajin dan tekun. Etos kerja dipandang sebagai muatan pendidikan karakter dalam keluarga, yang menjadikan orangtua terbuka terhadap berbagai perubahan dan berusaha untuk mengubah kehidupan anak melalui pendidikan.

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of discipleship in the church. This means that in the early church until today's church there is great emphasis on making discipleship possible, because this is the Great Commission of Jesus before ascending to heaven. The Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20, this is an order that was delivered directly by the Lord Jesus to His disciples before He ascended into heaven and is now in the teachings of Christianity, in the church. And churches that practice discipleship are not only considered to have a narrow understanding of the Great Commission, they are also considered to be churches that truly have high morality. So this research aims to discuss the importance of discipleship for the growth of the church today according to the Book of Matthew 28:19-20. The research method used in writing this article is the literature method. The results of the study show that discipleship plays an important role, that is, discipleship is carried out to produce disciples of Christ. So, the essence of the whole process of discipleship is so that the individual can grow and become a disciple of Christ, has the values of truth and wants to walk and become a follower who is willing to be formed to make disciples for the next generation, so that the goal of discipleship to become more like Christ can be achieved.

Abstract

Abstract. Efforts to foster the spirituality of Sunday School Children can be done by teaching the Word of God to children through the application of the Ceria method. The application of the CeriA method is said to be effective if the Sunday School Teacher understands and is able to convey the Bible’s stories in an interesting way that can be understood by children. However, the application of the CeriA method in the congregation is often not optimal because there are still Sunday School Teachers who have not been able to apply and understand the CeriA method well. The goal to be achieved through this research is to find out how to apply the CeriA method in fostering the spirituality of Sunday school children aged 9-11 at the Toraja Church, Pangleon Klasis Rembon Sado'ko Congregation. The research method used in this paper is a qualitative method. The findings of the research carried out are: first, the aplication of the good CeriA method is largely determined by the preparation of the Sunday Shool Teacher. Second, the application of the lively and impressive CeriA method can be an effective method in fostering the spirituality of Sunday School Children. Abstrak. Upaya untuk membina spiritualitas Anak Sekolah Minggu dapat dilakukan dengan mengajarkan Firman Tuhan kepada anak melalui penerapan metode CeriA. Penerapan metode CeriA dikatakan efektif jika Guru Sekolah Minggu memahami dan mampu menyampaikan cerita Alkitab secara menarik serta dapat dipahami oleh anak. Namun penerapan metode CeriA di dalam jemaat sering tidak maksimal karena masih ada Guru Sekolah Minggu yang belum bisa menerapkan dan memahami metode CeriA dengan baik. Tujuan yang hendak dicapai melalui penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan metode CeriA dalam membina spiritualitas anak Sekolah Minggu usia 9-11 tahun di Gereja Toraja Jemaat Pangleon Klasis Rembon Sado’ko’. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini ialah metode kualitatif. Temuan penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu: pertama, penerapan metode CeriA yang baik sangat ditentukan oleh persiapan Guru Sekolah Minggu. Kedua, penerapan metode CeriA yang hidup dan mengesankan dapat menjadi metode yang efektif dalam membina spiritualitas Anak Sekolah Minggu.

Abstract

Abstract. Discipleship is a responsibility mandated by God to the world, especially to the Church. The Church, which is overflowing with the mandate of discipleship, takes a central role in confirming, nurturing and reaching everyone to become disciples of Christ. Youth as an integral part of the church is one of the targets of discipleship that should be considered because they are both a relay and an asset to the church. Discipleship for young people is important so that they are not carried away by the flow of modernity which has the potential to trigger hedonic and materialist attitudes. The KAMBIUM method can be an alternative in reaching youth through discipleship activities. This paper aims to analyze discipleship efforts for youth through the KAMBIUM discipleship method. The research was carried out through a literature study and then the results were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The conclusion of the research is that the KAMBIUM method is relevant for youth where the pattern of teaching is carried out in three stages namely rooted, growing and bearing fruit in Christ. Abstrak. Pemuridan merupakan tanggung jawab yang diamanatkan Allah kepada dunia khususnya bagi gereja. Gereja yang dilimpahi amanat pemuridan, mengambil peran sentral dalam meneguhkan, memelihara dan menjangkau setiap orang menjadi murid Kristus. Pemuda sebagai bagian integral dari gereja menjadi salah satu sasaran pemuridan yang semestinya diperhatikan sebab mereka adalah estafet sekaligus aset bagi gereja. Pemuridan bagi pemuda penting dilakukan supaya mereka tidak terbawa pada arus modernitas yang berpontensi memicu sikap hedonis dan materialis. Metode KAMBIUM dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif dalam menjangkau pemuda melalui kegiatan pemuridan. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis upaya pemuridan bagi pemuda melalui metode pemuridan KAMBIUM. Penelitian dilakukan melalui study pustaka yang kemudian hasilnya dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Kesimpulan pada penelitian adalah metode KAMBIUM relevan diterapkan bagi pemuda di mana pola pengajarannya dilakukan dalam tiga tahap yakni berakar, bertumbuh dan berbuah di dalam Kristus.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berlatar kurangnya persembahan dari anggota jemaat di Gereja KIBAID Jemaat Simbuang. Dengan mengembangkan metode penelitian deskriptif, penelitian bertujuan menemukan faktor-faktor penyebab kurangnya jumlah persembahan jemaat di Gereja KIBAID Simbuang. Berdasarkan analisis faktor yang dikembangkan, peneliti menemukan bahwa penyebab kurangnya jumlah persembahan yakni kurangnya pemahaman anggota jemaat KIBAID Simbuang dalam hal memberi persembahan, gembala jemaat yang belum memberikan pengajaran tentang persembahan secara maksimal, adanya sikap yang salah dalam memberi persembahan, dan juga karena faktor ekonomi jemaat.
