The journal is published three times a year, in April, August, and December by the Faculty of Ushuluddin, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, Indonesia The review process in this journal employs a double-blind peer-review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa.

Abstract

Ikhlas is one of the characteristics that every Muslim must have, sincerity is one of the peaks of godly enjoyment for a servant, because he only expects goodness from his God. Of course, having a sincere attitude cannot be formed suddenly, it requires a process of self-formation. Daqu Method is one of the methods in self-formation to achieve sincere attitude and all its implementation, therefore researchers have a basic purpose in this study with the basis of urgency to provide reference methods in undergoing the process of self-forging to be a better human being in the view of religion. Daqu method contains disciplines that contain consistent and continuous worship activities, these disciplines slowly include sincere values to everyone who undergoes the method. Daqu method proved successful in forging one's character in order to reach one of the peaks of godliness, to reach the purpose of the method, the people have to do a consitence diciplines.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the factors of increasing and decreasing faith in the book of al-Azhar interpretation. This study uses a qualitative research method with the type of library research (Library research) with the primary source in the form of the book of interpretation of al-Azhar by Buya Hamka and secondary sources in the form of books, theses, articles and other scientific works related to the title of this research and apply content analysis as follows. a tool to analyze the collected data so that it can be described in detail and systematically. The results and discussion of the research are that faith means believing with the heart, making a vow with the tongue and practicing with the limbs then the main cause of increasing faith is obedience to Allah and His Messenger as Buya Hamka's interpretation of Surah al-Imran verse 173 that strong faith is born when the focus of all memory is only on Allah, only hoping for His pleasure, and only fearing Him then the main cause of the decline of faith is being tempted by the devil's whispers as Buya Hamka's interpretation of surah al-Araf verse 16-17 that the devil or devil always tempts humans from four directions, namely front, back, right and left so that humans do bad deeds and the procedure for maintaining faith is to strengthen monotheism, always worship Allah, always carry out good deeds and stay away from bad deeds, seek religious knowledge (Islam), contemplate the signs His greatness and power, and protect the social environment. This study concludes that human faith in Allah, Allah's Angels, Allah's books, Prophets and Apostles, the Day of Judgment, and qada and qadar can increase and decrease but when faith falls, it must be strengthened again. This study recommends conducting in-depth research related to procedures for maintaining faith in Islamic teachings.

Abstract

Conflicts in the household occur because of the lack of education of the bride and groom and lack of understanding and knowledge about domestic life. Sufistic values are a way to resolve conflicts in the household. This study aims to find out what Sufistic values are. Second, knowing how the marriage guidance process is at the Office of Religious Affairs in Cidahu District. Third, to find out how Sufistic values are in the marriage guidance process at the Office of Religious Affairs, Cidahu District. The research method used is a qualitative method in which the data source comes from the results of observations and interviews as well as other literature related to the research theme. The results of this study indicate that Sufistic values are attributes that are aimed only at God, their obedience cannot be shaken by anything so that events in the world will not affect them. The marriage guidance process at the Cidahu District Religious Affairs Office has been going well, the extension workers follow the existing regulations, and the participants are enthusiastic in the marriage guidance process. Sufistic values in the marriage guidance process are patience, gratitude, reflection, sincerity, pleasure, and trust.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the hadith about misogyny. This study uses a qualitative approach by applying the descriptive-analytical method. The formal object of this research is the science of hadith, while the material object is the hadith about misogyny, in the narration of Bukhari no. 293. The results and discussion of this study indicate that the status of the hadith is of authentic quality that meets the qualifications of maqbul ma'mul bih for the practice of Islam. This study concludes that the hadith narrated by Bukhari no. 293 is relevant to be used as motivation for early warning and the development of good behavior in worship.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of zuhud attitude in everyday life, especially in the boarding school environment. This study aims to examine the inculcation of zuhud and its implementation in the Al-Musyahadah Islamic boarding school. This study uses a qualitative approach and uses descriptive analysis methods. Zuhud is emptying the heart of the world's desire to always draw closer to Allah. Inculcating zuhud by growing understanding for students to accept all the provisions of Allah that comes to themselves. The implementation of zuhud can be distinguished from its characteristics, namely the nature and behavior of the zuhud person. This study concludes that at the Al-Musyahadah Islamic boarding school there is the inculcation of the attitude of zuhud as evidenced by the studies of books that discuss zuhud in the Al-Musyahadah Islamic boarding school such as Nashoihul Ibad, Sirr al-Asror, Al-Hikam and the implementation of zuhud from students of Al-Musyahadah Islamic boarding school can be seen from their daily lives such as having good morals in socializing and others. However, in practice there are still students who find it difficult to implement zuhud.

Abstract

This paper examines the book of Musthalah al-Hadith, the book of Nuzhat an-Nazhar Fi Taudih Nukhbat al-Fikar which was studied in Ma'had Darul Hadith Khadimus Sunnah Bandung. This paper aims to introduce the book of turots in the field of hadith science or Musthalahat al-Hadith with the object of the book Nuzhat an-Nazhar Fi Taudih Nukhbat al-Fikar by al-Hafidz Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani. And know how the methods used by the Institute of Ma'had Darul Hadith Khadimus Sunnah in studying and teaching the book of Nuzhat an-Nazhar and how to implement it. Using derifrifyive research methods, this study proves that the book of Nuzhat an-Nazhar is a systematic book of Musthalah al-Hadith and uses its own manhaj in the arrangement of its chapters. So that the book is used as a backrest or reference of scholars afterwards in compiling books in the field of hadith science and becomes the first gate for hadith students in studying hadith science. The methods used by Ma'had Darul Hadith Khadimus Sunnah in studying the book are the Nazhari and Tathbiqi methods in the form of Talaqi, Mulazamah and Munaqasyah. In its implementation, the students are able to understand the materials studied and can analyze the hadith of both sanad and matan analysis as evidenced in the final task that is in the form of takhrij hadith.

Abstract

Self-acceptance is an important part for a person to live his life. In Sufism the sense of self-acceptance is also with rida or willingness resulting from mahabbah to Allah. This study aims to determine the relationship between mahabbah and self-acceptance in early adult women. The subjects in this study are 80 samples of early adult women aged years in Wanajaya Village, Cisolok District, Sukabumi Regency. This study uses a quantitative correlational design approach with incidental sampling data collection techniques with a questionnaire method distributed to research subjects and then filled in via Google Form. To analyze the result, the researcher used Pearson Product Moment Coefficient Correlation SPSS version 25 for windows. The result of this study indicates that early adult women have the same high sense of mahabbah and self-acceptance, it is proven that the two variables have a positive relationship, namely the correlation coefficient value of 0,546.

Abstract

Mental is something that is very vital in living life. If a person's mental health is healthy, daily activities will run smoothly and live a happy life which can be transmitted to family, relatives and the environment. But there are still many people who are mentally disturbed so that they live a life full of anxiety. Not for the santri who are in all the pesantren, many of them are mentally disturbed. The contributing factors, among others, are demanding knowledge and unrealized desires resulting in stress and anxiety. This study aims to determine the effect of dhikr Lazimah on mental health which is carried out at the Al-Falah Biru Islamic boarding school, the Tijaniyah tarekat and to find out the Tijaniyah dhikr Lazimah method which is carried out at the Al-Falah Biru Islamic boarding school. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method. The results of the study show that the influence of the usual dhikr affects their mental health, as evidenced by the students who are stressed and then practice the usual dzikr they are free from these psychological diseases. The time of its practice every day is carried out munfarid (individual). In Lazimah remembrance consists of reading istighfar, sholawat and tahlil.

Abstract

Worried in prayer, of course someone has experience. Examples when worship, someone has doubts in his prayers because of forgetting the number of prayers or other problems. Based on the case, it is in the hadith if someone feels disturbed in his prayers, to avoid the apostle to recommend berta’awudz accompanied by spitting to the left three times. But on the other hand, it is prohibited from moving in addition to the prayer movement because it can cancel prayer. Based on the hadith, the apostle recommends that berta’awudz be accompanied by spit to the left. Of course this is a problem in the prayer that it is prohibited from making movements other than the prayer movement, but on the other hand the prophet recommends that berta’awudz accompanied to spit to the left three times. So this is certainly more research can be done to deliver the understandingof the hadith. This study aims to discuss more in understanding the hadith on how to take refuge from worry in prayer with the approach to ma’anil hadith. This study uses a qualitative methods. The results of the study and discussion showed that the meaning  of word tafl (spit) in the hadith is not spitting as usual but the point is smal, which is blowing with a slight gusts of saliva. This is done if it does not disturb the sorrounding person. But if that does not allow it, it is enough to take refuge with God from the temptation of the damned setan without spitting, so that he does not harm the sorrounding person. The hadith which was the object of the status of shahih reviewed from sanad and its matan.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the sufistic love of the Qur'anic perspective with a semantic approach. Thiselitisting uses a qualitative approach by applying descriptive-analytical methods. The formal object of this study is semantic studies. Meanwhile, the material object in this study is sufistic love of the perspective of the Qur'an. The results of this research and discussion show that the semantic approach can help present and understand the meaning contained in the Qur'an whose original ideas were fragmented to achieve a totally unified idea (its worldview). Love (hubb) is divided into three parts, namely the love of Allah Swt., to man, the love of man to Allah Swt., and the love of man to his fellow human beings, all three of which have been clearly stated in several verses of the Qur'an. The conclusion of this study is that the true love of the faithful will rightly only be to God that they pour out all their lives that will turn the muhibbin  away from everything but the one he loves.
