Jurnal Riset Agama is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of scholarly research on Religious and socio-cultural studies. Particular attention is paid to works dealing with Religious studies using an interdisciplinary perspective, especially within Islamic Theology and its related teachings resources. The journal is published three times a year, in April, August, and December by the Faculty of Ushuluddin, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, Indonesia The review process in this journal employs a double-blind peer-review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa.

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to discuss how the explanation of the hadith about the obligation to study. This research method uses a qualitative type through literature study with content analysis. The results and discussion of this study include the meaning of studying, takhrij hadith about the obligation to study, and how the ethics of a student in studying. The conclusion of this study shows that the command to study is an obligation and the hadith that explains the obligation to study is a saheeh hadith. This study recommends the importance of understanding among Muslims about their obligations in studying.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to discuss the hadith about honesty and it guidance. This research method is qualitative with a literature study approach and content analysis. The results and discussion of this study include general views on honesty, hadith about honesty, and fostering honesty values according to the Messenger of Allah. The conclusion of the study shows that honesty is being in accordance with the reality of truth. Islam recommends to its people to always be honest, because honesty is the source of goodness in this world and in the hereafter. So, honesty is an important trait to be instilled in humans.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the hadith about stock investment in Islam. This study uses a qualitative approach that emphasizes literature study through the takhrij and syarah hadith methods with contemporary analysis. The results of this study found that the quality status of the investment hadith was assessed as hasan li ghairihi, in the sense of maqbul and ma'mul bih for Muslim practice. The conclusion of this study is that the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad regarding stock investment in Islam is a recommended activity, because investment activities have been carried out by the Prophet Muhammad since he was young until before the apostleship. Unless prohibited activities are found in investment activities, both objects and procedures, the investment is prohibited. This study recommends that further research be carried out through collaboration between enthusiasts of hadith science and business economics to research related to stock investment in terms of objects and processes if you want to invest in stocks in accordance with Islamic teachings.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to discuss the hadith about fasting. This research method uses qualitative research through literature study with content analysis. The results and discussion of this study include general views of fasting, hadiths about fasting, and determining the beginning of Ramadan fasting. The conclusion of this study is that the hadith about fasting is found in various books, including Sunan an-Nasa'i, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abu Dawud, Sunan Ibn Majah, and Jami 'at-Tirmidhi. Determining the start of Ramadan fasting can be done in two ways, namely the rukyat method and the reckoning method.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to discuss the urgency of generosity in the hadith. This research method uses a qualitative type through literature study with content analysis. The results and discussion of this study include general views on generosity, hadith about generosity, and the application of generosity according to hadith. This study concludes that Islam is a perfect religion. Not only regulating habluminallah but also regulating habluminannas, which must be done properly, correctly and in balance. One of the teachings of Islam that Allah has commanded to his people is caring and giving. Confession of the truth of a person's faith can be measured by his giving behavior. Giving is not a bad deed, but on the contrary, it is a commendable act. The generous person is close to Allah, close to heaven, close to humans, and far from hell.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to discuss the hadith about environmental hygiene and health and sanctions for environmental destroyers. This research method is qualitative through literature study with content analysis. The result and discussion of this study include the definition of Environmental hygiene and health, how the hadith about environmental hygiene dan health and sanction for environmental destroyers are very important things to do. The Environment is one of the prerequisites for the survival and life of mankind with land, water and air as the main components. There are several hadith that show the recommendation to clean the Environmental from dirt, so it is not appropriate for a believer to underestimate it. <![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to discuss the hadith syarah related to sterile date milk as a healthy drink during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative approach that emphasizes literature study through the takhrij and syarah hadith methods with contemporary analysis. The results of this study found that the quality status of the hadith about dates is considered valid according to the takhrij hadith. Meanwhile, the hadith syarah shows that dates are known to be processed ingredients for health drinks, including sterile date milk which is useful for increasing immunity during the Covid-19 pandemic. The conclusion of this study is that the hadith about dates can be referred to as an Islamic practice because it has a valid status and dates can be used as sterile date milk products to increase immunity during the Covid-19 pandemic according to health sector instructions. This study recommends the collaboration of hadith experts and health experts in experimental processing of sterile dates milk for health during the Covid-19 period.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to discuss the hadith syarah about seclusion regarding the phenomenon of the rise of pre-wedding culture in society. This study uses a qualitative approach that emphasizes literature review through the takhrij and syarah hadith methods. The results of this study found that the quality status of the hadith about seclusion is authentic. This hadith is judged authentic because all narrators are dzabit and fair (tsiqot) and because it is authentic and valid, this hadith is considered maqbul (accepted) so that it can be practiced. The conclusion of this study is that pre-wedding that is rampant in society contains elements of seclusion. Since the time of the Prophet, seclusion has been forbidden because it invites heinous acts. Therefore, the law of pre-wedding is haram. Except if there are no elements prohibited by the Shari'a and the intention is only to make it easier for the invited guests to recognize the bride and groom.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to discuss the important role of the takhrij hadith method in the study of the authenticity of the hadith. This research method uses a qualitative approach with an analytical descriptive method, namely a fact-finding method with proper description and analysis of the data studied, including a general understanding of takhrij hadith, various methods of takhrij hadith, as well as the purpose and benefits of takhrij hadith. From this research, it can be concluded that takhrij hadith is the result of the efforts of previous scholars in developing the study of hadith science which is also part of the intellectual and scientific treasures that must be passed on by subsequent generations so that it continues to be maintained and developed. This research is expected to provide benefits and benefits for the treasures of Islamic scholarship.]]>
