Jurnal Riset Agama is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of scholarly research on Religious and socio-cultural studies. Particular attention is paid to works dealing with Religious studies using an interdisciplinary perspective, especially within Islamic Theology and its related teachings resources. The journal is published three times a year, in April, August, and December by the Faculty of Ushuluddin, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, Indonesia The review process in this journal employs a double-blind peer-review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa.

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to discuss the hadith of Black Seed as an alternative in increasing immunity during the Covid-19 period. This research uses a qualitative approach through literature study by applying the method of takhrij hadith and syarah hadith. The interpretation is used to analyze contemporary issues. The results of the research and discussion show that the hadith about Black Seed as one of the authentic quality herbal treatments according to takhrij reviews so that it can be practiced as an Islamic argument. While the syarah of this hadith shows that Black Seed is used for the treatment of various diseases, moreover it is very useful for increasing one's body immunity, however this Black Seed also cannot absolutely be interpreted to treat all diseases, especially Covid-19, further research is needed on this matter. The conclusion of this study is that the hadith about Black Seed is maqbul for herbal treatment, but with the right rules and doses and it is even better if it is under the supervision of the relevant experts, namely health experts.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to discuss the hadith about menstruation. This research method is a qualitative type through literature study with content analysis. The research discussion includes general views about menstruation, hadith about menstruation, and the effect of contraceptives to prevent pregnancy on the menstrual cycle. This study concludes that menstruation is a natural cycle as a stipulation that has been established for women based on the explanation of the Prophet's hadith, thereby dismissing various discriminatory myths against menstruating women. Indeed, the menstrual cycle is messed up with the use of contraceptives to prevent pregnancy, but the medical world explains that blood that comes out of the end of a woman's uterus due to the use of contraception that exceeds its period is still categorized as menstruation.]]>

The results and discussion of this study include general views on the position of women, hadith about women, and the position of women from the perspective of hadith. This study concludes that women and their position from the perspective of hadith show that there is equality between women and men, free to share, complement and need each other between women and men, where no distinction will be made between them.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to discuss the command to be filial to parents in the hadith. This research method uses a qualitative type through literature study by applying content analysis. The discussion of this research includes the meaning of birrul walidain (filial piety to parents), the hadith orders birrul walidain (filial piety to parents), the forms of birrul walidain, and the virtues of birrul walidain (filial piety to parents). This study concludes that birrul walidain or filial piety to both parents has a special position in Islamic teachings. The matter of filial piety to parents has been regulated both in the Qur'an and Hadith. Devotion to parents according to the hadith is an obligation equivalent to faith and jihad and taqwa which applies not only when parents are still alive but also when they have died. This research is expected to have benefits for enriching the treasures of Islamic knowledge.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to discuss music in terms of hadith. This research method is a qualitative type through literature study with content analysis. The results and discussion of this study include general views about music, syarah hadith about music and hadith analysis about music. The conclusion of this study shows that there is a hadith that prohibits music, but that is if the music is done for a bad purpose. Music, which includes listening to music, playing musical instruments or singing, is permitted as long as it is not excessive or does not violate Islamic law prevailing in society, does not harm ourselves and others, and does not make us neglect or forget our obligations to Allah. swt. This study recommends to all Muslim audiences about the importance of knowing how the law of music in the perspective of hadith.]]>

<![CDATA[This study intends to analyze the hadith about the prohibition of staying up late as immunity maintenance. This study uses a qualitative approach that emphasizes literature study through the takhrij and syarah hadith methods by applying contemporary analysis in the medical field. The results of the research and discussion show that the hadith regarding the prohibition of staying up late is of authentic quality based on the takhrij review so that it can be accepted as an Islamic argument. As for the syarah of this hadith, it shows that staying up late is a behavior that the Messenger of Allah hated, the attitude of the Apostle can be understood, that he forbade his people to stay up late, while this prohibition is only makruh and not haram. The conclusion in this study is that the hadith narrated by Imam Ahmad no. 18945 is maqbul for efforts to increase immunity by prohibiting staying up late.]]>

The results and discussion of this study include general views on morality, hadith about morality, and the meaning of morality according to hadith. The conclusion of this study is that every human being, especially a Muslim, must have good morals following the morals of the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W with the aim that we have noble character. This study recommends the importance of applying a moral approach for all Muslims.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to discuss the concept of usury in the perspective of hadith. This study uses a qualitative type through literature study by applying content analysis. The discussion of this research includes general views on usury, takhrij hadith about the prohibition of usury, and the concept of the prohibition of usury. The conclusion of this study shows that usury is unlawful and in the hadiths of usury eaters, people who order usury to eat, their clerks and their witnesses are cursed by the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. This research is expected to have benefits for enriching the treasures of Islamic knowledge.]]>

This research method uses a qualitative type through literature study with content analysis. The results and discussion of this study include general views on ablution, the arguments of the Qur'an and hadith about ablution, and the influence of ablution in life. This study concludes that by performing ablution according to the guidance taught by the Prophet Muhammad and living every washing and ablution movements as well as the motivation from within to maintain ablution so as to make all subjects able to overcome obstacles and challenges. <![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to discuss the explanation of hadith about politics. This research method is a qualitative type through literature study by applying content analysis. The discussion of this research includes how the general view of political hadith, how the basic concept of leadership in the perspective of hadith, and how the law of women's political leadership. This study concludes that political rights are not only addressed to men, according to some scholars, women have political rights. However, there are some other scholars who forbid women to participate in politics. Whoever the person, whether male or female, if they have entered the political realm, must pay attention to ethics as befits a good politician, who follows what has been taught by the Prophet Muhammad. This research is expected to have benefits for enriching the treasures of Islamic knowledge.]]>
