Abstract

The rapid development of information technology, especially the widespread use of the internet, has revolutionized various aspects of daily life by facilitating access to online platforms to fulfill individual needs. This convenience significantly influences consumer behavior, leading to increased consumption tendencies. This study aims to investigate the impact of online shops on the consumptive behavior of Islamic Economics students at IAIN Metro. Using a quantitative methodology, the research focuses on two main variables: online shop usage as the independent variable and consumer behavior as the dependent variable. The sample consists of 67 students selected using a proportional random sampling method. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS Statistics version 25, including validity and reliability testing, classical assumption tests, as well as simple linear regression and t-tests. The research findings indicate a significant influence of online shops on consumer behavior, with a t-test result of 6.736, exceeding the critical t-value of 1.997, and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, the null hypothesis (H_0) is rejected, while the alternative hypothesis (H_a) is accepted, demonstrating a clear relationship between online shop usage and the consumptive behavior of Islamic Economics students at IAIN Metro. Perkembangan pesat teknologi informasi, khususnya penggunaan internet yang luas, telah merevolusi berbagai aspek kehidupan sehari-hari dengan memudahkan akses ke platform online untuk memenuhi kebutuhan individu. Kenyamanan ini secara signifikan memengaruhi perilaku konsumen, yang mengarah pada kecenderungan konsumsi yang meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki dampak toko online terhadap perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa Ekonomi Syariah di IAIN Metro. Dengan menggunakan metodologi kuantitatif, penelitian ini memusatkan perhatian pada dua variabel utama: penggunaan toko online sebagai variabel independen dan perilaku konsumen sebagai variabel dependen. Sampel terdiri dari 67 mahasiswa yang dipilih menggunakan metode pengambilan sampel acak proporsional. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan SPSS Statistics versi 25, termasuk uji validitas dan reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, serta regresi linear sederhana dan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan toko online terhadap perilaku konsumen, dengan hasil uji-t sebesar 6,736, melebihi nilai t kritis sebesar 1,997, dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Dengan demikian, hipotesis nol (H_0) ditolak, sementara hipotesis alternatif (H_a) diterima, menunjukkan hubungan yang jelas antara penggunaan toko online dan perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa Ekonomi Syariah di IAIN Metro.

Abstract

Corruption in the public sector represents a significant issue in many countries, causing harm to societies and undermining policymaking processes. Despite numerous research efforts aimed at understanding this phenomenon, there remains a need for a deeper understanding of the causes and effective solutions. This study aims to map the factors contributing to the persistence of corruption in the public sector and identify relevant mitigation strategies. Findings from a literature review indicate that corruption evolves gradually, beginning with individual motivations, reinforced by external factors, and then normalized within organizational culture. Mitigation recommendations are necessary at each stage. These may include re-education on corruption and anti-corruption values, enhancing economic equity, strengthening democracy, reducing political interference in oversight institutions, and bolstering the roles of auditors and internal oversight. Consequently, strengthening social controls and collective learning are expected to diminish and prevent corruption in the public sector. Korupsi dalam sektor publik adalah masalah yang signifikan di banyak negara, merugikan masyarakat, dan melemahkan proses pembuatan kebijakan. Meskipun banyak penelitian telah dilakukan untuk memahami fenomena ini, masih ada kebutuhan akan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang penyebab dan solusi yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan persistensi korupsi dalam sektor publik dan mengidentifikasi strategi mitigasi yang relevan. Hasil penelitian melalui tinjauan literatur menujukkan bahwa korupsi berkembang secara bertahap, dimulai dari dorongan individu, diperkuat oleh faktor-faktor eksternal, lalu dinormalisasi dalam budaya organisasi. Rekomendasi mitigasi korupsi diperlukan di setiap tahap tersebut. Beberapa di antaranya melibatkan pembelajaran ulang kembali tentang korupsi dan nilai-nilai anti-korupsi, meningkatkan pemerataan ekonomi, memperkuat demokrasi, mengurangi intervensi politik dalam lembaga pengawasan, dan memperkuat peran auditor serta pengawasan internal. Dengan demikian, penguatan pengendalian sosial dan pembelajaran kolektif diharapkan dapat mengurangi dan mencegah korupsi dalam sektor publik.

Abstract

Work stress is a phenomenon commonly experienced by employees, especially women, who have responsibilities in both the workplace and household. This study aims to determine the impact of role conflict, workload, and work environment on the level of work stress among female employees in two sugar factories, namely Arasoe Sugar Factory and Camming Sugar Factory. This research used multiple linear regression method to analyze data obtained through questionnaires distributed to 66 female employees. The results of statistical tests show that role conflict, workload, and work environment partially have a significant effect on work stress with a significance level of 5%. The determination test shows that the three independent variables together explain 73.2% of the variation in the level of work stress, while other unexamined factors in this study contribute 26.8%. These results indicate that role conflict, workload, and work environment have a significant influence on work stress among female employees in both sugar factories. Stres kerja merupakan fenomena yang banyak dirasakan oleh pekerja utamanya perempuan yang memiliki tanggung jawab dalam lingkungan kerja dan rumah tangga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak konflik peran ganda, beban kerja, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap tingkat stres kerja pada karyawan perempuan di dua pabrik gula, yaitu Pabrik Gula Arasoe dan Pabrik Gula Camming. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode regresi linear berganda untuk menganalisis data yang diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 66 karyawan perempuan. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa konflik peran ganda, beban kerja, dan lingkungan kerja secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap stres kerja dengan tingkat signifikansi 5%. Uji determinasi menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel independen secara bersama-sama menjelaskan sebanyak 73,2% variasi dalam tingkat stres kerja, sementara faktor-faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini menyumbang sebanyak 26,8%. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa konflik peran ganda, beban kerja, dan lingkungan kerja memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap stres kerja pada kaeyawan perempuan di kedua pabrik gula tersebut.

Abstract

Women's economic empowerment has become a central issue in global development, reflecting the need for gender equality and social justice. Microfinance institutions (MFIs), particularly Grameen Bank, have played a crucial role in providing financial access to previously underserved women. MFIs have proven that providing financial access to women not only increases their income but also changes power dynamics within households and communities. Despite significant progress, there are still challenges to overcome, including the risk of domestic violence, fraud, and dependence on patriarchal norms. Some recommendations provided in this paper include enhancing awareness training on fraud and financial skills, as well as developing comprehensive social performance measurement criteria. By addressing these challenges, microcredit programs and other MFIs are expected to become more effective instruments in helping women achieve greater economic empowerment and promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth. Pemberdayaan ekonomi perempuan telah menjadi isu sentral dalam pembangunan global sekaligus mencerminkan kebutuhan akan kesetaraan gender dan keadilan sosial. Lembaga keuangan mikro (MFIs), terutama Grameen Bank, memainkan peran penting dalam memberikan akses keuangan kepada perempuan yang sebelumnya tidak terlayani. MFIs telah membuktikan bahwa memberikan akses keuangan kepada perempuan tidak hanya meningkatkan pendapatan mereka, tetapi juga mengubah dinamika kekuasaan di dalam rumah tangga dan komunitas. Meskipun telah ada kemajuan signifikan, masih ada tantangan yang perlu diatasi, termasuk risiko kekerasan domestik, penipuan, dan ketergantungan pada norma patriarki. Beberapa rekomendasi yang diberikan dalam tulisan ini meliputi peningkatan pelatihan kesadaran terhadap penipuan dan keterampilan keuangan, serta pengembangan kriteria pengukuran kinerja sosial yang komprehensif. Dengan mengatasi tantangan ini, diharapkan program mikrokredit dan MFIs lainnya dapat menjadi instrumen yang lebih efektif dalam membantu perempuan mencapai pemberdayaan ekonomi yang lebih besar, serta mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This article examines the role of Prophet Muhammad's patronage in transforming the economic system of Arab society before the advent of Islam, which was oppressive, exploitative, and unjust. The research method employed in this study includes a literature review and descriptive analysis of the prophetic economic teachings and policies introduced by Prophet Muhammad. Data were gathered from various Islamic teachings and scholarly literature, such as exegesis, books, and journals relevant to the topic. The results indicate that Prophet Muhammad established a just economic system in Arab society with four main pillars: siddiq, amanah, tabligh, and fathonah. Measures taken included prohibiting usury, imposing zakat, emphasizing the values of hard work, abolishing slavery, and reforming the economic system in accordance with Sharia principles. Consequently, society became more prosperous through economic practices based on spiritual values and human ethics. Artikel ini mengulas peran patronisme Nabi Muhammad SAW dalam transformsi sistem ekonomi masyarakat Arab sebelum kedatangan Islam, yang cenderung menindas, eksploitatif, dan tidak adil. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan tinjauan literatur dan analisis deskriptif terhadap ajaran dan kebijakan ekonomi profetik yang diperkenalkan oleh Nabi Muhammad. Data yang digunakan berasal dari berbagai sumber ajaran Islam dan literatur ilmiah, seperti tafsir, buku, dan jurnal yang relevan dengan topik tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Nabi Muhammad membangun sistem ekonomi msyarakat Arab yang berkeadilan dengan empat pilar utama, yaitu siddiq, amanah, tabligh, dan fathonah. Langkah-langkah yang diambil termasuk larangan terhadap riba, kewajiban zakat, penekanan pada nilai-nilai kerja keras, penghapusan perbudakan, dan reformasi sistem ekonomi sesuai prinsip-prinsip syariah. Dengan demikian, masyarakat menjadi lebih sejahtera melalui praktik ekonomi yang berbasis pada nilai-nilai spiritual dan etika kemanusiaan.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the influence of motivation and compensation on employee performance at the Trade Department of Metro City by adopting Herzberg's Two-Factor Theory. Since the trade sector is a major contributor to the Regional Gross Domestic Product (RGDP) of Metro City and plays a central role in organizational success, this study evaluates the impact of motivation as a motivator and compensation as a hygiene factor on employee performance. The findings indicate a positive and significant influence of motivation and compensation on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. Based on these findings, this study provides several strategic recommendations for the Trade Department to optimize motivation programs, revise the compensation system, and enhance employee training programs. The practical implications of this study are expected to contribute to improving productivity, employee job satisfaction, and achieving organizational goals more effectively. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja pegawai di Dinas Perdagangan Kota Metro dengan mengadopsi Teori Dua Faktor Herzberg. Mengingat peran sentral sumber daya manusia dalam keberhasilan organisasi, terutama di sektor perdagangan yang berkontribusi signifikan terhadap Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) Kota Metro, penelitian ini mengevaluasi pengaruh motivasi sebagai faktor pemicu dan kompensasi sebagai faktor pemelihara terhadap kinerja pegawai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan baik motivasi maupun kompensasi terhadap kinerja pegawai, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Berdasarkan temuan ini, penelitian ini memberikan sejumlah rekomendasi strategis bagi Dinas Perdagangan untuk mengoptimalkan program motivasi, merevisi sistem kompensasi, dan meningkatkan program pelatihan bagi pegawai. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan produktivitas, kepuasan kerja pegawai, serta pencapaian tujuan organisasi secara lebih efektif

Abstract

This paper develops a scoping study approach to review the literature on Pesantren (Islamic Boarding Schools) and their role in economic development. Over the past 15 years, published papers have been categorized into several key topics, including entrepreneurship, leadership, empowerment, multiculturalism, and politics. Among these, leadership has emerged as the most researched topic, given the kyai's role as influential religious, social, and cultural figures. Multiculturalism and politics are also prominently featured in the literature. This study highlights the importance of economic empowerment within pesantren and offers policy recommendations for the government while suggesting future research directions to strengthen pesantren's contributions to Indonesia's socio-economic landscape.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the monetary policy of Tunisia, a country with a Muslim-majority population, from both conventional and Islamic perspectives. Monetary policy, under the responsibility of the Central Bank, seeks to maintain currency stability and ensure overall economic strength. Islamic monetary policy specifically incorporates principles such as the prohibition of usury (riba), currency stability, the avoidance of excessive speculation, promoting productive financing, distributive justice, inflation control, and transparency. Tunisia, with its majority Muslim population, provides an interesting case for examining how Islamic principles are reflected—or not—in its monetary policy. This study employs a descriptive qualitative methodology, utilizing secondary data from library research, including websites and scientific journal articles. The findings show that Tunisia's monetary policy has a significant impact on economic indicators such as price stability, currency value, and overall economic growth, contributing to benefits like increased employment, higher purchasing power, improved investment levels, and sustainable economic prosperity. Key tools include interest rates, open market operations, reserve requirements, foreign currency interventions, selective credit policies, and macroprudential regulations.

Abstract

This study explores the relationship between Islamic leadership, organizational justice, and employee psychological well-being in the workplace. Islamic leadership, rooted in the teachings of Islam, is examined for its influence on employee well-being. The concept of psychological well-being, encompassing self-acceptance, positive relationships, autonomy, environmental mastery, purpose in life, and personal growth, is the primary focus of this research. A quantitative research method with a positivist approach and survey methodology was employed. The results reveal a significant relationship between Islamic leadership, organizational justice, and employee well-being. Organizational justice is also found to mediate the relationship between Islamic leadership and psychological well-being. These findings hold significant implications for organizational management, emphasizing the importance of religious values in leadership and justice in creating a fair work environment. Islamic leadership can serve as a source of motivation for employees, while organizational justice can enhance employee well-being. The study's findings can be utilized as a foundation for developing more effective management strategies to improve employee psychological well-being in the workplace. Abstract

This research examines the implementation and outcomes of stakeholder relationship management (SRM) strategies in social startups, focusing on Indonesia's Social Organization Matchmaking program. Conducting by a qualitative approach, this study explores how the Outreach Campaign team designed and implemented SRM strategies to engage diverse Organizations within a resource-constrained, emerging market context. The findings highlight a multifaceted SRM approach encompassing strategic communication, personalized engagement, value co-creation, and digital interaction. This adaptive strategy significantly enhanced program outcomes, including a higher success rate in matching Organizations with sponsors, increased retention, and overall satisfaction. Key factors contributing to effective SRM were identified, such as fostering trust through transparent communication, cultivating commitment through shared value creation, and balancing digital and traditional engagement methods. Contextual factors, including cultural norms, economic realities, technological infrastructure, and regulatory environment, shaped SRM strategies.
