Abstract

Inventory management is a crucial aspect in ensuring the smooth operation of business activities, yet many micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) still rely on manual recording systems that are prone to errors and inefficiencies. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Odoo provide an integrated platform to automate the recording, monitoring, and reporting of inventory transactions in real-time. This community service project was conducted at Seserahan Hanaluna, an MSME in Pemalang, through a blended learning method combining face-to-face workshops and online tutorials. The training emphasized experiential and case-based learning, enabling participants to practice directly on Odoo’s inventory and accounting modules. The results show that Odoo significantly improves inventory transparency by providing real-time stock data, valuation reports, and automatically integrated financial statements. Furthermore, the training enhanced participants’ understanding of ERP concepts and increased their technical skills in operating the system. The adoption of Odoo not only streamlines inventory recording but also strengthens internal control, improves decision-making reliability, and raises awareness of the importance of digitalization for MSME sustainability.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve teachers’ skills in utilizing artificial intelligence through prompt engineering at SMAN 1 Susukan, Semarang Regency. The activity was motivated by the high administrative workload and the inconsistent quality of teaching materials in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. The Powerprompt Guru training emphasized hands-on practice in designing effective prompts using ChatGPT, enabling teachers to produce learning artifacts and school documents more quickly and consistently. A participatory co-creation approach was applied, involving teachers actively from needs analysis to artifact design and quality validation through an internal quality gate mechanism. The results indicated a 35 percent increase in teachers’ competencies based on pre-test and post-test comparisons. Approximately 91 percent of learning artifacts and all administrative documents were approved for upload to the school’s digital repository. The participant satisfaction survey recorded an average score of 4.6 out of 5, reflecting a highly positive response to the training and the digital system’s usefulness. The program fostered a culture of collaboration and sustainable digital documentation, enhancing teachers’ work efficiency. This prompt engineering-based training model has strong potential for replication in other schools with similar contexts and infrastructures.

Abstract

Di era digital, guru Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak (RPL) menghadapi tantangan dalam mengoptimalkan Kecerdasan Buatan (AI) karena keterbatasan pemahaman dan pelatihan yang aplikatif. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi teknologi dan kompetensi praktis guru MGMP RPL dalam mengimplementasikan AI (seperti ChatGPT, Canva AI) dan platform digital untuk menciptakan pembelajaran inovatif sesuai Kurikulum Merdeka. Program ini dilaksanakan dengan metode partisipatif dan aplikatif, meliputi lokakarya intensif serta pendampingan daring, di mana peserta membuat produk pembelajaran digital. Hasilnya menunjukkan dampak yang sangat positif: terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan guru tentang AI rata-rata sebesar 37%, tingkat kepuasan peserta mencapai 93%, dan seluruh peserta berhasil menyusun produk pembelajaran interaktif. Lebih dari separuh guru telah menerapkan keterampilan ini di kelas, membuktikan bahwa pelatihan yang sistematis dan praktis efektif dalam meningkatkan kapasitas guru untuk adopsi teknologi..

Abstract

Abstract The development of social media has made visual content a crucial element in MSME promotional strategies. However, many MSME actors still face limitations in producing attractive product photographs that align with the characteristics of social media platforms. This Community Service Program (PKM) aimed to enhance the understanding and skills of MSME actors in Jomblang Subdistrict in product photography to support the optimization of digital promotion. The implementation method employed a participatory and applicative approach through stages of needs analysis, theoretical training, hands-on product photography practice using simple equipment, as well as evaluation and mentoring. Evaluation was conducted using pretests and posttests to measure improvements in participants’ understanding. The results showed a significant increase in the average score from 52.4 in the pretest to 82.6 in the posttest. In addition, the quality of participants’ product photographs improved in terms of lighting, composition, and background selection, which contributed to increased promotional interaction on social media. These findings demonstrate that practice-based product photography training is effective, easy to adopt by MSMEs, and contributes to enhancing the sustainability of digital promotional competitiveness.

Abstract

The development of information technology requires educational institutions to have adequate facilities to support administrative services and learning activities. However, limited technological infrastructure remains a challenge for schools in rural areas, including MIS Al-Islamiyah Batu Putih, Alila Timur Village, Kabola District, Alor Regency. This community service activity aims to improve school service quality through the repair of damaged computers and printers. The implementation method consisted of observation, damage diagnosis, hardware and software repair, functionality testing, and evaluation. The results show that one printer and two computers that were previously unusable have been restored to normal operation after repair and system reset, while one computer requires further action in the form of display cable replacement. The repaired devices improved the efficiency of teachers and administrative staff and supported smoother school administrative services. Therefore, this community service activity contributes positively to strengthening the utilization of information technology as a strategic effort to enhance the quality of educational services in schools.

Abstract

Digital literacy development at the primary education level is essential in response to rapid advances in information technology. One fundamental skill required is data processing using Microsoft Excel 2016. This community service activity aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of students at MIS Al-Islamiyah Batu Putih, Alila Timur Village, Alor Regency–NTT, in using Microsoft Excel 2016. The training employed lecture sessions, demonstrations, hands-on practice, discussions, and evaluations through pre-test and post-test. Training materials included an introduction to the Excel interface, simple table creation, basic formulas such as SUM and AVERAGE, and data formatting. The results indicate improvements in students’ knowledge, technical skills, and conceptual understanding of data processing. In addition, positive changes were observed in students’ attitudes, particularly increased confidence and active participation during technology-based learning activities. This program contributes to strengthening digital literacy among elementary school students and supports the development of essential computer skills for future learning.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology requires elementary school students to possess basic computer and word-processing skills. Microsoft Office Word is widely used in educational and administrative activities; however, initial observations revealed that many students at MIS Al-Islamiah Batu Putih lacked basic knowledge of this application. This community service activity aimed to improve students’ digital literacy and skills in using Microsoft Office Word 2016 through a structured training program. The methods included demonstrations, hands-on practice, guided assistance, question-and-answer sessions, and skill evaluation. The training was conducted over two days and involved students from grades I to VI. The results indicated a significant improvement in students’ ability to operate laptops, type and format documents, create tables, insert images, and save files correctly. Furthermore, the program enhanced students’ self-confidence and interest in technology-based learning. Therefore, this training proved effective in strengthening basic information technology skills among elementary school students.
