Background : Intra Uterine Device (IUD) is an effective way to regulate birth and terminate pregnancy. To choose a contraceptive to use, a woman (wife) certainly really needs the opinion and support of her partner (husband). This study aims to determine the relationship between husband's support and the use of IUD contraceptives. This research. Method :The research method is analytical survey with cross sectional approach. Conducted at the Batu Aji puskesmas for 6 months, the population in this study were all family planning acceptors in the working area of the Batu Aji Community Health Center as many as 19,479 family planning acceptors. With a sample size of 99 people, sampling using purposive sample with research instruments using a questionnaire and analyzed using chi Square. Result : The results showed that most respondents received support from their husbands as many as 82 respondents (82.8%), mothers who received support from their husbands and used an IUD as many as 31 respondents (31.3%), and those who did not use an IUD were 51 respondents (51.5%). From the results of the Chi-Square calculation, the p-value is 0.001. Background : The puerperium is a recovery period after the birth process begins at the birth of the placenta, and ends when the reproductive organs return to normal, such as in a woman who is not pregnant. An effort is needed to increase milk production during the puerperium, one of which is breast care so that the rights of babies to get breast milk from their mothers are fulfilled. The purpose of this study was to determine the knowledge of postpartum mothers about breast care. Method : The research method used is descriptive, conducted at the hospital. ST Elisabeth Batam City, the research was conducted for 6 months, the population in this study were all postpartum mothers who were in the postpartum room of Elisabeth Hospital Batam City when the research took place, namely as many as 33 people, the sampling technique was carried out by using total sampling technique with research instruments using a questionnaire. Result : The results showed that the majority of good knowledge as many as 24 people (72.7%) and less knowledgeable as many as 9 people (27.3%). conclusion : The conclusion of this study most of the knowledge of postpartum mothers about breast care is Good. Suggestions for respondents to apply breast care properly in order to be able to provide breastfeeding exclusively

AIDS is a disease that is a global health problem after claiming more than 70 million people have been infected with the HIV virus so far. In the city of Batam in 2017, 47 people died from HIV / AIDS. Condom use behavior among sex workers and also customers is one of the efforts to prevent and control the transmission of HIV / AIDS. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of condom use among clients of commercial sex workers in the context of HIV / AIDS prevention. Method : This research is descriptive conducted at the Center for Social Rehabilitation of Non Panti Teluk Pandan Tanjung Uncang, Batam City, with a total sample of 91 commercial sex worker customers who were taken by purposive sampling. Result : The results showed. It is known that the use of condoms among CSW customers in the center of the Social Rehabilitation Center for non-Panti Kota Batam, more than half of the customers did not use condoms, namely 46 (51.1%). conclusion : It is known that the use of condoms among commercial sex workers at the center for nonPanti Panti Social Rehabilitation in Teluk Pandan Tanjung Uncang, Batam City, more than half of the customers did not use condoms, namely 46 (51.1%).

Fulfillment of nutritional intake and proper diet plays an important role in the health of both mother and fetus. Pregnant women with good nutritional knowledge can choose food intake that has good nutritional value and is balanced. Maternal nutritional status in pregnancy affects the nutritional status of the fetus. This study aims to determine the knowledge of mothers about diet during pregnancy. Method : The research method used is descriptive. Conducted at the Sambau health center, the study was conducted for 6 months, the population in this study were pregnant women in the third trimester who had their pregnancies examined at the Sambau Health Center, totaling 140 pregnant women. The sample in this study is 30 people. The sampling technique was carried out by consecutive sampling with the research instrument using a questionnaire. Result : The results showed that 18 respondents (60%) had sufficient knowledge, as many as 8 respondents (26.7%) had good knowledge and 4 respondents (13.3%) had insufficient knowledge. Conclusion : more than half of the respondents have sufficient knowledge (60%). Suggestions for respondents to increase knowledge and increase motivation or guidelines for mothers about choosing a pregnant woman's diet

Abortion or abortion (Latin: abortion) is the cessation of pregnancy before 20 weeks of gestation which results in fetal death (Sujiyatini, 2011: 72 in Resty, 2012). According to the World Health Organization (WHO) estimates there are 20 million incidents of unsafe abortion (Unsafe Abortion) in the world, 9.5% of which occur in developing countries. Approximately 13% of the total women who have an abortion who have an unsafe abortion end in death (Soetjiningsih, 2004 in Resty, 2012). Method : This study used a descriptive study. The population in this study were all female industrial workers who lived in the Batamindo Muka Kuning Dormitory at RW 03, totaling 1854 people and a sample of 185 respondents. Sampling in this study used the Consecutive Sampling technique, inclusion and exclusion criteria. The research was conducted in May-August 2017. The results were analyzed by Univariate. Result :Research Results Most of the respondents had less knowledge about abortion in female industrial workers at Dormitory Batamindo Muka Kuning Rw 03 Batam, as many as 127 (68.6%) of respondents. Conclusion : Based on the results of research conducted on 185 respondents, the following results were obtained: Most of the respondents had less knowledge about abortion in female industrial workers at Dormitory Batamindo Muka Kuning Rw 03 Batam, as many as 127 (68.6%) respondents. Suggestion As a source of information so that people can understand knowledge about abortion and be able to have a positive attitude towards social interactions.

Injectable birth control methods use medroxyprogesterone (a type of progestin) which is injected once or 3 months into the buttocks or upper arm muscles. This is very effective but can interfere with the menstrual cycle. The results of several studies conducted on injection family planning acceptors showed that the factors associated with injection contraceptive use were menstrual disorders 51.25%, 36.25% increase in body weight and an increase in blood pressure. Some of the results of studies conducted on injection contraceptive acceptors showed that factors which is associated with the use of injection contraceptives is the occurrence of menstrual disorders 51.25%, weight gain 36.25% and an increase in blood pressure 3.75% (Eiska, 2007). Method : The research objective was to determine the use of 3-month injection of family planning at the UPT Puskesmas Baloi Permai. The population of this study were mothers who used 3-month injection contraception. Sampling with purposive sampling technique. The number of samples is 98 respondents. Result :The univariate results obtained were more than half of the respondents who used 3-month injection contraception (57.1%). Conclusion : Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded as follows : The conclusion in this study was that 98 respondents obtained the results, namely, respondents who used injection contraceptives for 3 months with categories using as many as 92 people (93.9%

Nutritional problems are a complex problem not only due to powerlessness or economic inadequacy, but also regarding knowledge, attitudes and behavior. The number of nutritional status at Botania Puskesmas in 2016, the prevalence of underfives with malnutrition and malnutrition is 583 (17.2%) out of 10,712 children under five. The purpose of this study was to know the knowledge of mothers about toddler nutrition. Method : This study used a descriptive study of the population of all mothers who have children aged 1-5 years, the sampling technique used was accidental sampling. The research results were analyzed by Univariate. Result : Research Results Maternal knowledge about toddler nutrition at Puskesmas Botania, Batam City in 2017 with good knowledge respondents as many as 20 people (50%) as large as respondents who have sufficient knowledge. Conclusion :. Maternal knowledge about toddler nutrition at Puskesmas Botania, Batam City in 2017 with 20 respondents (50%) good knowledge as large as respondents who had sufficient knowledge.

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that arises as a result of prolonged malnutrition. The incidence of stunting arises as a result of long-standing conditions such as poverty, improper parenting behavior, and frequent illnesses due to poor hygiene and sanitation. According to WHO, the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia is around 8.9 million, in Riau Islands as many as 262 cases, in Batam City as many as 154 cases. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between economic status and the incidence of stunting. Method : The research method used was an analytic survey with a cross sectional approach. Conducted at Posyandu in the working area of Puskesmas Sambau, Batam City, the study was conducted for 6 months, the population in this study were all mothers who had toddlers aged 24-59 months, with a sample of 58 respondents, using purposive sampling technique. Data collection using a questionnaire. Data presented in tabular and textual form, data analysis using Chi-square. Result : The results obtained were low economic status (55.6%), and the incidence of stunting (39.7%). The results of the statistical test of economic status obtained a p-value of 0.004, so Ho is rejected. Conclusion :. There is a relationship between Parents' Knowledge of Toddler Nutrition and Family Economic Status with the Incidence of Stunting in Toddlers at the Posyandu in the working area of Puskesmas Sambau, Batam City. It is hoped that parents will pay more attention to the nutrition of children under five so that the incidence of stunting can be reduced.

The high rate of infant mortality is caused by many factors, including neonatal asphyxia and premature rupture of membranes. KPD followed by infection can increase perinatal morbidity and mortality. Asphyxia is a newborn emergency in the form of respiratory depression that continues, causing various complications. This study aims to determine the relationship between premature rupture of membranes and Asphyxia Neonatorum. Method : The research method used was an analytic survey with a cross sectional approach. Conducted at the ST Hospital. Elisabet, the study was conducted for 6 months, the population in this study were all patients in the delivery room with term delivery at Santa Elisabeth Hospital, Batam City from January to December as many as 1,018 people. The sample in this study was 91 people. The sampling technique was carried out by systematic random sampling technique with research instruments using checklists. Data analysis using Chi square. Result :The results of the study with a sample of 91 in 32 mothers with KPD, showed 20 neonates (62.5%) were not asphyxia and 12 neonates (37.5%) had asphyxia. Meanwhile, 59 non-KPD mothers whose babies were not asphyxiated were 53 neonates (89.8%) and 6 neonates had asphyxia (10.2%). The analysis results obtained p = 0.004 (<0.05). Conclusion : The conclusion is that there is a relationship between PROM and the incidence of neonatal asphyxia at term delivery at Santa Elisabeth Hospital, Batam City. Research suggestion that efforts to reduce the incidence of KPD can be increased.

The practice of giving food to infants and children, especially at the age of 0–23 months, must be carried out correctly and appropriately. Feeding errors in this period can lead to malnutrition and stunting. The purpose of this study was to determine the knowledge of mothers about nutrition with feeding behavior in toddlers. Method :The research method used was an analytic survey with a cross sectional approach. Conducted at Botania puskesmas, the study was conducted for 6 months, the population in this study were toddlers' mothers who came to the Botania puskesmas. The sample in this study was 40 people. The sampling technique was carried out by accidental sampling technique with research instruments using a questionnaire. Data analysis using Chi square. Result : The results of the research on maternal knowledge about good toddler nutrition were equal to the frequency of maternal knowledge about adequate nutrition, namely (20) respondents (50%), the majority of toddlers' feeding behavior was good (22) toddlers (55%). Chi-square statistical test obtained p-value = 0.00 <0.05, Conclusion : there is a significant relationship between maternal knowledge about nutrition and feeding behavior of children under five at Botania Health Center. Suggestions that the authors provide to provide health education, especially nutrition for toddlers.
