Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge about lactation management and exclusive breastfeeding for infants aged 6-9 months in the working area of Talang Randai Public Health Center, Bengkulu Selatan Regency. The method in this study is an analytic study with a cross sectional design. The population of this study were all mothers who had children aged 6-9 months in February 2022, totaling 51 people. Data analysis was performed by chi-square test. The results showed that most respondents with less knowledge (41.2%), did not give exclusive breastfeeding (58.8%) and the chi-square test showed X2 count (14.7) > X2 table (5.591) and the value of (0.001)<ρ(0, 05). There is a relationship between knowledge of lactation management and exclusive breastfeeding in the working area of the Talang Randai Health Center, South Bengkulu Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to provide nursing care for sleep pattern disorders through murottal therapy in the elderly with hypertension. This research method uses qualitative research in the form of case studies to explore the problem of nursing care for sleep disorders through murottal therapy in the elderly with hypertension. The approach used is a nursing care approach which includes assessment of nursing diagnoses, planning, implementation and evaluation. The results showed that there was an increase in sleep quality and quantity after murottal therapy in the elderly with sleep pattern disorders with hypertension for 7 consecutive days.

Abstract

HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) is a hormone produced by young placental tissue and secreted by urine in the event of abnormal proliferation of chorionic epithelial tissue. The presence of urinary HCG can be used for pregnancy detection. Pregnancy check can be done by latex method and strip test method. This study aims to determine the description of HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) examination with latex method and strip test method for pregnancy detection. The research used Purposive sampling technique with 25 samples of pregnant women in the first trimester. The determination of gestational age in a simple way is by counting the first day of the last menstrual period (HPHT), 3 weeks, 2 people (8%), 4 week HPHT, 4 (16%), 5 week HPHT, 3 (12%) , 6-week. HPHT was 2 people (8%), HPHT 7-8 weeks there were 6 people (24%), HPHT 9- 12 weeks there were 8 people (32%). Of the 25 samples examined using two methods namely the method of latex and the method of Strip Test, all samples tested positive pregnant (100%).

Abstract

Green tea foliphenol catechins are hydroxylated phenols that can be toxic to microorganisms, these compounds form protein complexes and inhibit the work of enzymes that act on cell membranes so that they damage the microbial membrane. The aim of this study was to determine the most effective concentration of green tea leaf (Camellia sinensis, L) boiled water on the growth of the water flea fungus (Tinea pedis). This research was conducted at the Pathology Laboratory of the Harapan Bangsa Health Analyst Academy, Bengkulu on July 13-17, 2020. The sampling technique was simple random sampling and the inhibition zone was the diffusion method. In this study, the results obtained at 20% concentration obtained a clear zone with a diameter of 7 mm, 40% obtained a clear zone with a diameter of 7.3 mm, 60% obtained a clear zone with a diameter of 7.6 mm, 80% obtained a clear zone with a diameter of 9, 3 mm and 100% obtained clear zone with a diameter of 11.5 mm. The results of this study can be said that the boiled water of green tea leaves (Camellia sinensis, L) is most effective against the growth of the water flea fungus (Tinea pedis) at a concentration of 100% of 11.5 mm..

Abstract

Hypertension, which is commonly referred to by the general public as high blood pressure, is a chronic disease that is often called a stlent killer, namely (a silent killer) because in general patients do not know tat they have hypertension before checking their blood pressure. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of laughter therapy. On reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients based on literature review. The database sources used are from Google Scholar, Pubmed, Google Advance Search. The population in this study were 13 journals from 2013-2019 with research methods using Pre Exsperimental, Quasy Experiment, the resultd obtained that the average has a systolic blood pressure of 135,71 mmHg and a diastolic blood pressure of 71,45 mmHg and statistical test results with the results of systolic blood pressure p=0,000 to 0.02 where <0,05 and diastolic blood pressure p=0,000 to 0,03 where <0,05, which means that is a significant difference in vane right blood before and after laughter therapy.
