Abstract

Elevated stations or commonly called elevated stations have an electric power system with a main power supply of 20KiloVolt with a nominal voltage of 750volt and a station operating facility voltage of 380volt laying station. This research uses the inspection method by making observations by work instructions and instruction manuals for railway infrastructure maintenance studies. Some were identified as related to power quality issues with progression-appropriate inspections and appropriate instruction manuals. The main objective of this study is to prevent overvoltage interference problems by recommending risk mitigation through investigative and simulation analysis methods using Electric Transient and Analysis Program (ETAP) software that can help evaluate and estimate strategic steps by paying attention to regulations and standard references and detecting losses in operating pattern disturbances due to disruption of power quality conditions caused by overvoltage surges in the station traction substation system by investigation and simulation methods using Electric Transient and Analysis Program (ETAP) software. This overvoltage is carried out in the context of research on maintaining services to the public and preventing system failures by using risk mitigation and investigation and simulation methods using Electric Transient and Analysis Program (ETAP) software that pays attention to environmental, safety, technical, and economic aspects with regulations and standard references. This research is in the form of mitigation analysis and describes the losses that have an impact by looking at a power quality condition and the follow-up provided to prevent overvoltage and components of modern railway electric facilities.

Abstract

There are practices of service from the government to the community through public services, but in Indonesia there are still many violations of policy, which is a violation of ethics in carrying out or implementing public services and this is often done by civil servants or state civil servants. In terms of e-government, this must follow public service ethics based on the principle of openness, namely information openness, ease of access, and accountability that can be legally accounted for for the public interest. This study conducted a qualitative literature study. The study shows that the ethical principles contained in government regulations, especially Article 10 of the Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 42 of 2004 concerning the Development of Spirit Corps Spirit and the PA Pada Server Service Code of Ethics, serve to ensure the provision of high-quality digital public services at the central and provincial levels.

Abstract

An indicator of the reproductive health of women in an area is the maternal mortality rate. A lot of women in the reproductive age range pass away from difficulties during, during, or related to pregnancy, childbirth, or abortion. Maternal mortality, a critical indicator of a country's healthcare system and women's well-being, has been a persistent concern in India. The study examines the progress and strategies employed in reducing maternal mortality in India. The research explores the initiatives undertaken by the Indian government under the National Health Mission to address maternal health. The findings serve as a valuable resource for policymakers, healthcare professionals, and researchers striving to advance women's sexual and reproductive health rights while reducing maternal mortality globally. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test and analyze the influence of country of origin, brand awareness, and perceived price on the purchase decision of MCB CHINT products with perceived quality as a mediation variable. The data used in this study are the results of questionnaires distributed directly in March - April 2023. Sampling is done through the purposive sampling method, where researchers have set several criteria. There were 149 respondents in this study. This research analysis method uses PLS-SEM with the help of SMART PLS. Perceived Quality mediates the influence of Country of Origin on Purchase Decisions partially (Partial Mediation). Perceived Quality does not mediate the influence of Brand Awareness on Purchase Decision (No Mediation) Perceived Quality fully mediates the influence of Perceived Price on Purchase Decision (Full Mediation).

Abstract

This study aims to conduct an economic valuation of mangrove carbon stocks found on Payung Island, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province. Mangroves are coastal ecosystems that play an important role in storing carbon and providing ecological and socio-economic benefits to local communities. The research method used is a field survey and analysis of the latest data on carbon content in mangrove ecosystems. In addition, interviews were also conducted with relevant stakeholders to understand the economic benefits generated from mangrove ecosystems, such as income from the fisheries sector, tourism, and conservation efforts. The results of this study are expected to provide information about the economic value of mangrove carbon stocks on Payung Island. The implications of this research are expected to be used as a basis for decision making related to mangrove ecosystem management and preservation. In addition, this research can also provide a better understanding of the importance of mangrove conservation as a valuable natural resource, both in terms of environment and economy

Abstract

Shoreline change is a severe threat to life and property in wetland regions. Shoreline change analysis is critical for integrated wetland zone management and is accomplished through the field and aerial surveys. The Afram River is a significant source of water, food, and economic activity for Kwahu and its neighbouring communities and a form of funds for the residents. The shoreline, nevertheless, has been transforming because of erosion and accretion. This study examined a low-cost innovative approach using space-based peripheral visuals and metrics. Transects and data analysis for the riverbank were created using the Digital Shoreline Analysis System (DSAS) in the Spatial database. The study employed Landsat images from three historical years (2001, 2015 and 2022) across 22 years. End Point Rate (EPR) and Net Shoreline Movement (NSM) statistics in DSAS were used to determine the extent of change. Questionnaires and key informant interviews were administered to farmers, boat operators, fishermen, and older residents to learn more about the factors responsible for changes in shoreline position. According to the study, 24% of the shoreline erodes at a section, while 86% is stable. The survey's mean erosion rate is -0.24 m/yr, whereas the average accretion proportion is 27 m/yr. The ramifications of the Afram River channel change have affected the socio-economic livelihoods, including out-migration, farm loss and displacement of settlement. As a result, all organisations and participants responsible for these riverbanks should work together to prevent further damage and erosion of the shoreline line and its marine life and resources.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of virtual reality on interpersonal communication, focusing on aspects that have never been studied before in communication science. In an increasingly advanced digital age, virtual reality has become a phenomenon that attracts the attention of many people. However, there is still a lack of research that comprehensively reveals its impact on interpersonal communication. The research method used in this study is a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches. Through the use of surveys and in-depth interviews, we obtain data that includes individual perceptions and experiences related to interpersonal communication in a virtual reality environment. Our respondents consisted of participants who were experienced in the use of virtual reality and those who had never used the technology before. Our results suggest that the use of virtual reality has the potential to influence various aspects of interpersonal communication, including emotional expression, nonverbal recognition, and levels of interpersonal closeness. These discoveries provide new insights into how virtual reality can enrich our communication experience in different contexts. This research makes an important contribution to the development of communication science, especially in understanding the role of new technologies such as virtual reality in shaping interpersonal interactions. The implications of this research could be used to develop practical guidelines for the use of virtual reality in interpersonal communication, as well as inform the design and development of better technologies in the future.
