This study discusses the role of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Umkm) in Family Economic Sustainability in Pulo Dogom Village, North Labuhanbatu Utara. The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Umkm) in Family Economic Survival in Pulo Dogom Village, North Labuhanbatu Utara. This study uses qualitative research with data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. Indepth interviews were conducted with selected informants. The results of this study indicate the role of micro, small and medium enterprises (Umkm) in the economic survival of families in the village of Pulo Dogom. This study intends to look at the role of micro, small and medium enterprises so that they can improve family economic survival for the welfare of employees. This study aims to determine the role of micro, small and medium enterprises on employee survival in Umkm Tahu Mas Tagor. The results of this study indicate that the existence of these Umkm has a very important role for the welfare of the community by opening up employment opportunities and increasing the income of the surrounding community so that they can meet their daily needs such as food, as well as other needs such as housing, family health and the need for children's education. brand subsidiaries and create job opportunities for the surrounding community to help improve the welfare of the community. In its implementation it is still said to be ineffective, this is because there are still many shortcomings that occur in finding solutions to the problems faced by entrepreneurs, especially in micro, small and medium enterprises, including capital so that the lack of manpower is caused by the lack of capital for UMKM actors which cause their business to run. This study focuses on intercultural interactions in the Rewang Tradition which is a tradition belonging to the Javanese Ethnic. The aim of this research is; (1) to find out what actions were taken while carrying out the Rewang tradition (2) to find out the response of the Simalungun Bataknese ethnic group to their interactions in the tradition. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. The data sources in this study were observations and interviews. The data obtained were obtained from 6 informants, namely 3 ethnic Javanese and 3 ethnic Simalungun Bataknese. Data analysis in this study using a qualitative descriptive method begins by examining all available data from various sources, namely interviews with informants and observations that have been written down in field notes. The stages in the data analysis process are data reduction, data presentation and conclusions or levers. The results obtained from this research are the actions taken in each series of events including pre rewang, namely holding counseling, asking for permission and asking for help regarding the event to be carried out (tonggo rojo). When rewang everyone involved does the task that has been mutually agreed upon. After rewang, the manufacture of marrow porridge is intended for people who are involved in rewang. inter-ethnic reciprocity regarding their involvement in every tradition they carry out is the hope of the Simalungun Bataknese and Javanese Ethnics.

This study aims to determine the communication patterns used by teachers and students who do not have devices in learning during the covid-19 pandemic and the inhibiting factors encountered by teachers and students who do not have devices in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative research type. The technique of data collection was done by interview method. There were seven research informants consisting of four teachers and three students from SMP Negeri 3 Pancur Batu. Data analysis techniques are carried out starting from condensing data, displaying data and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study indicate that the communication pattern of teachers and students who do not have devices in learning during the covid-19 pandemic is using offline learning methods or learning communication that is carried out directly (face to face) which is arranged in a planned manner by each teacher in the field of study by providing a brief explanation. The materials taught then provide questions and exercises to students or make group discussions at school once a week or once every two weeks with a learning duration of two to three hours. The inhibiting factors for teachers and students who do not have devices in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic are the minimum duration of time for teachers to provide learning materials to students at school and the number of assignments or questions that make students less understand the material and cannot do the questions properly and correctly.

The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of participatory-based planning in the construction of a suspension bridge in Air Merah Village, South Labuhan Batu Regency. The type of research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. This study took as many as six people as resource persons. The data collection technique used in this research is interviews. The results of this study indicate that the Implementation of Participatory-Based Planning in the Construction of a Suspension Bridge in Air Merah Village, Labuhan Batu Selatan Regency has not been fully implemented properly. Because the actions taken have not gone as expected, where the government does not carry out deliberation to make decisions for the construction of the suspension bridge. Therefore, the construction of this suspension bridge was not built as expected by the local community. In planning the suspension bridge construction, the community has not been fully involved, because in the socialization only the landowners are invited to participate. This causes problems in the community because the suspension bridge construction point is not in accordance with what the community needs and expects. Thus, the government is expected to be able to defend the rights of the people as much as possible in planning a development. The policy regarding the construction of suspension bridges has several points that are not implemented properly. The government is expected to carry out intensive socialization with the community to provide an understanding of each policy by prioritizing a win-win solution, meaning that every policy made by the government does not override the rights of the community.

Physical disability is a condition that is damaged or disturbed as a result of impaired shape or resistance to bones, muscles, and joints in their normal function. This condition can be caused by illness, accident or can also be caused by congenital. Therefore, children with disabilities must receive special education through special schools where there is a Self Development Program for the independence of children with disabilities, especially at Yayasan Pembinaan Anak Cacat Kota Medan. The research was conducted at Yayasan Pembinaan Anak cacat Medan with Disabilities in Medan. The key informants in this study were the Principal of the SLB-D School and the teachers at Yayasan Pembinaan Anak Cacat Kota Medan. Data collection techniques with literature study, observation, and interviews. The data obtained in the field were then analyzed by researchers who described it with a qualitative approach. Finally, conclusions can be drawn from the results of this study. The results showed that the Self Development Program was carried out through an assessment carried out by teachers on children with disabilities to determine the needs and abilities of each child with disabilities in their respective classes. The Self Development Program analysis uses general ADL activities (Activities of Daily Living General Classification), namely self-care activities, ambulation or movement activities and hand activities.

The Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of North Sumatra Province, this organization is named the Bureau of Women's Empowerment, Children and Family Planning, North Sumatra Province Regional Secretariat which was formed in accordance with Regional Regulation number 7 of 2008 concerning Regional Secretariats and North Sumatra Provincial DPRD Secretariats. The vision of the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection in North Sumatra Province is the realization of gender equality, protection of women and children and improvement of family welfare for officials and the public. This study aims to find out how to implement regional regulation number 3 of 2019 in the complaint service at the women's empowerment and child protection service. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach with primary and secondary data types obtained through interviews with sources, and through literature and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that in general the process of implementing complaint services at the women's empowerment and child protection service runs according to existing procedures, even though in the Covid-19 condition, people can make reports online using the official website of the women's empowerment and child protection service. Even though people report online, reports that come into the office will be processed as soon as possible. This year, the public can report directly to the UPTD. P2TP2A. the planning that will be carried out by the women's empowerment and child protection service will make an online-based complaint through an application

Soeman HS Library claimed is the best library in ASEAN. This library even became one of the landmarks in Pekanbaru City which has the capacity to accommodate 1000 visitors. Visitors who come to the library have various purposes. Some of them come to read, do their assignments, lend books, and use the facilities in the library. The number of visitors coming here fluctuates every year, because they do not come to the library every day. This study aims to determine the visitors motivation coming to Soeman HS Library and to analyze the factors that influence the visitors motivation to visit Soeman HS Library. The method used for this study was quantitative descriptive research. Primary data were obtained directly through a questionnaire and secondary data were obtained from Soeman HS Library Service Section. The sampling method used was quota sampling technique with 100 respondents who are visitors to Soeman HS Library. The results of this study indicated that the motivation of visitors to visit the HS Soeman Library was quite high, for about 81.1% for First to Third Floors, and 80.0% for the Ground Floor (Particularly for Children Services). There was a relationship between some factors that influence the visitors to visit the library, such as the desires and needs, library services as well as facilities and infrastructure.

There are several components of marketing communication that we can find in the Tourism Village of Jabu Sihol Pematang Siantar such as the communication mix or marketing mix, marketing communication mix, and marketing communication objectives. This strategy is in line with the vision and mission of the Jabu Sihol Tourism Village so that information is conveyed to the target and goes according to what is expected. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data obtained came from 6 informants. The data sources used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. written in field notes and then personal documentation, photographic images. The stages in the data analysis process are data reduction, data presentation and conclusions or verification. The results obtained from this study are all subjects feel that the existence of the Jabu Sihol Tourism Village can have an economic impact on the surrounding community. The conclusion of this research is Marketing Communication as a strategy in developing Jabu Sihol Tourism Village Pematang Siantar. And involve the community around the Jabu Sihol Tourism Village in activities to preserve Batak culture.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the companion in the implementation of the family of hope program in the distribution of social assistance in the village of Telaga Suka. This study uses a qualitative approach. Informants were determined by purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the facilitator in implementing PKH in Telaga Suka village was effective. Understanding the program, PKH facilitators have been able to clearly understand the tasks and functions that must be carried out, Timeliness is good enough from the time of program implementation to the end of the program in accordance with predetermined provisions. and the achievement of the goals of distributing aid funds so far has gone very well, the achievement of the objectives carried out by PKH facilitators has met the targets, as can be seen from the success of PKH facilitators in empowering the poor.
