Abstract

This study aims to: 1) determine students' communication skills before applying the Probing Prompting Learning Model in Civics lessons for fifth grade students, 2) determine students' communication skills after applying the Probing Prompting Learning Model in Civics lessons. fifth grade students, 3) improve students' communication skills in Civics material after applying the Probing Prompting learning method for fifth grade students. This study uses a Classroom Action Research approach. The data collection techniques in this study are observation and tests. The results showed that: 1) Through the Probing Prompting learning model there was an increase in the communication skills of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 101390 Batang Pane 1 in Civics learning. 2) Students' communication skills were obtained through the application of the Probing Prompting learning model, namely the average score of students' communication skills in the first cycle was 76.88 and increased by 94.75 in the second cycle. The Probing Prompting learning model has been implemented according to the learning scenario in class V at SD Negeri 101390 Batang Pane 1.

Abstract

This article conveys about the dynamics of Islamic education in the Pre-Independence era, Islamic boarding school education as native Indonesian education, as well as the development of Indonesian Islamic education during the colonial period, both the Dutch and Japanese colonial periods. The influence of colonialism cannot be denied in the current Islamic education system. This study uses a qualitative method which is a literature review by analyzing related sources. The development of Indonesian education is quite dynamic, greatly influencing various directions of the Indonesian Nation. The importance of exploring the noble values of national identity to improve things that need to be fixed in the field of education. It can be concluded that we are too hegemony with the policies of the colonialists, unfortunately these influences are still embedded today in education in general.

Abstract

This study discusses the formation of habituation-based students' religious character in extracurricular activities at MTs. Roudlotul Qur'an Lamongan. In forming the religious character of students, all these activities must be designed as well as possible so that all students have good morals, not only at school but wherever they are. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach and data analysis of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The results of the research show that the religious character values applied in MTs. The integrated Roudlotul Qur'an Lamongan is obedience to Allah SWT, gratitude, honesty, fairness, sincerity, patience, independence, courtesy, discipline, respect, responsibility, caring, confidence, creative and active. As for the formation of religious values through scheduled activities outside of learning hours, namely extracurricular activities including Qiro'ah, Banjari, Scouts, PALA (Nature Lovers), and Calligraphy. While habituation activities include congregational dhuha prayers, tartil, learning the Qur'an for non-mukim students, congregational dhuhur prayers, Istighosah, Rotibul Haddad on Friday morning and completing the Qur'an on Friday at the first month, and the commemoration of Islamic Holidays. And habituation activities that are general in nature such as flag ceremonies/morning apples, sports and maintaining school cleanliness, as well as moral habit or student behavior such as shaking hands in the morning.

Abstract

Islamic Education Learning for speech-impaired children is not easy as we think, but it is a regular, continuous and systematic effort, therefore a learning building is needed which is expected to be able to fill the plot so that in this study an overview of the learning process of Islamic Education for speech-impaired children is found at State Elementary School in Sugihwaras Bojonegoro as well as various supporting and inhibiting factors. The results of this study are expected to be used as a concrete model of PAI learning for speech-impaired children. The results of the study show that the learning process for Islamic Religious Education for the speech-impaired at State Elementary School in Sugihwaras Bojonegoro is different from the learning for normal children in general. Learning is done through three stages, namely: planning, implementation, and evaluation. Supporting factors the learning of Islamic Religious Education for the speech impaired are the existence of extracurricular activities, the existence of a library which is of course very useful for increasing the knowledge of mute children, and cooperation between fellow teachers at State Elementary School in Sugihwaras Bojonegoro. While the inhibiting factors are the differences in the characteristics of students, the different intelligence of children, the lack of attention from parents, and the limited facilities and infrastructure. Abstract

This article is a conceptual study that aims to determine the condition of education in Indonesia. The analysis used is content analysis by combining various theories studied. Education has an important role in the development of a country, including in Indonesia. This article revisits the portrait of education in Indonesia by identifying the changes and challenges faced. Through an analysis of historical and contextual approaches, this article discusses the efforts that have been made to improve accessibility, quality, and equity in education in the country. In the portrait of education in Indonesia, there are gaps between urban and rural areas, challenges related to the quality of education, curriculum, teaching methods, and gender gap issues. In addition, this article illustrates the development of higher education and the importance of the role of the government, society, and other stakeholders in improving the portrait of education in Indonesia. By looking back at this portrait of education, it is hoped that it can create better and equitable education in Indonesia, contribute to sustainable development and improve the welfare of society as a whole.
