Abstract

Improving the quality of education in higher education is an urgent need for immediate improvement, especially in the soft skills of graduates. The purpose of this research is to find out an overview of what Ibn Khaldun University of Bogor does in designing principles and strategies for determining the quality standards of graduate competencies in soft skills. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study with data analysis techniques following the concept of Milles and Hubbermen. The results showed that in building graduates' soft skills, Ibn Khaldun University of Bogor based it on a religious foundation, by teaching Islamic studies that must be taken by students for four semesters. Students are equipped with teaching and understanding of aqidah, sharia, morals, and Islamic Worldview. In addition, students are also strengthened spiritually by participating in a mandatory activity, "Bina Baca Al-Qur'an Intensif" to improve their relationship with the Al-Qur'an and also improve the quality of their worship. All activities are monitored directly under the supervision of the Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs.

Abstract

The purpose of conducting this research is to analyze the effect of Activity Ratio, Profitability, and Leverage on the Timeliness of Financial Reporting both simultaneously and partially. The dependent variable (Y) that the researcher chose is the Timeliness of Financial Reporting, which is measured through the use of a dummy, with a score of 0 for those who are not on time and 1 for those who are on time. The object applied is the Consumer Goods sub-sector companies listed on the IDX in 2019 – 2022. The sample determined is 35 companies with the research period 2019 – 2022 through the use of Purposive Sampling. The data to be analyzed is the secondary type. Researchers here use the Logistic Regression Analysis method. The results obtained show that simultaneously the Activity Ratio, Profitability and Leverage have a significant effect on the Timeliness of Financial Reporting. Then partially Leverage has a negative effect while Activity and Profitability do not affect the Timeliness of Financial Reporting.

Abstract

An important element that investors pay attention to before investing is observing the company's stock price. Banking is an industry that plays an important role in contributing to the Indonesian economy. The aim is to determine the correlation of liquidity, solvency, firm size, exchange rates, credit risk and capital with stock prices in banking partially and simultaneously. The independent factors in this research are liquidity which is proxied by the current ratio, solvency is using DER, company size is using the natural logarithm of total assets, the exchange rate is proxied by the middle rate, credit risk is proxied by NPL and capital is proxied by CAR. The dependent factor in this research is the stock price. Research samples were obtained from financial reports listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research uses quantitative methods, the analysis technique used is descriptive statistics, while the research hypothesis is tested using multiple linear regression analysis with statistical tools. The determination of the sample was carried out using a purposive sampling method in banking. The results of this research show that simultaneously liquidity, solvency, company size, credit risk, exchange rates, and capital can influence bank stock prices. Partially, stock prices are positively correlated with firm size. However, stock prices are still negatively correlated with credit risk as a proxy for NPL. While stock prices have no correlation with liquidity, solvency, exchange rate and capital.

Abstract

This research presents a spatial analysis of land cover change in the Wae Batu Gajah Watershed, Ambon City, over three time periods, namely 2013, 2018, and 2023, using Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The data used for land cover change analysis are Landsat 7 satellite images for 2013 and satellite images for 2018 and 2023. Land cover is classified based on SNI 7465:2010 on Land Cover Classification which consists of built-up land, open land, non-agricultural land and water bodies. The analysis showed significant changes in land use patterns, including rapid urbanization, loss of natural habitats, and transformation of agricultural land. This information provides an important basis for sustainable regional planning and natural resource management. In addition, this study provides insights into the socioeconomic impacts of land cover change on local communities, and makes an important contribution to the understanding of environmental dynamics and better decision-making for the future of the Wae Batu Gajah watershed.

Abstract

This research discusses the impact of migration on social change in Ambon City, Indonesia. Ambon City, as the economic and cultural center of the Maluku region, has undergone significant transformation due to migration, both internal and external. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach through literature study. The results of this study outline how migration has created challenges in terms of social integration, changes in cultural identity, and the potential for social conflict. On the other hand, migration also brings opportunities in the form of economic growth, cultural diversity, and cross-cultural innovation. To overcome these challenges, the Ambon City government needs to formulate policies that support social inclusion, sustainable economic development, and preservation of cultural identity. Collaboration between natives and migrants should also be enhanced to create a harmonious and competitive environment, ensuring that Ambon City remains an attractive and diverse place for all its residents. This research underscores the importance of an in-depth understanding of migration dynamics and social change to capitalize on migration opportunities while maintaining the social, economic and cultural sustainability of Ambon City.
