Abstract

Inside these writings, the group focuses on the theme about the relation of Me, Liyan, and Dodo Culture from Manggarai tribe (in ‘Philosophy-Critical Armada Riyanto’) based on the book titled ‘Menjadi-Mencintai and Relationalitas’. Meanwhile, the methodology which the group uses in writing is critical reading. The argument of the writing is how the philosophical view from the relation of Me, Liyan, and Dodo Culture in the Manggarai Tribe. Recently, the group often finds that humans are less aware about the meaning of the presence of Dodo culture for Me and Liyan. Armada Riyanto's philosophy has been considered as capable in explaining this view of relationality, therefore a better understanding of the presence of it can be obtained. The results of a critical reading show that the Dodo culture has contributed a lot to the development of Me and Liyan. The presence of Dodo culture makes humans unique in themselves and able to know who we and other humans are. Me and Liyan held a culture and in human pilgrimage as Me and Liyan which is experiencing a cultural presence. Humans as Me and Liyan are always in contact with culture. Armada Riyanto's philosophy defines that human beings as Me become fellow for others and see others as fellow for him and that relationship is formed by culture.

Abstract

Law and moral are two different field of studies. Sometimes, they appear as rival when solving a problem. As a case study for sample, the researcher took abortion. Abortion is a hot topic so far, debated on almost every day, and become one of the goverments’s concern to make a policy for the countries. No doubt, abortion is a difficult moral problem. But abortion also belongs to law since it is playing in the field of human rights to protect and defend. Long debate between moral and law is as if essential in abortion. By using qualitative research through literature analysis, this essay give a balance between law and moral analysis. It comes to a conclusion that even always competing each other almost in every case, they are two of complementing elements. Law and morality are like a pair of wings flapping together reaching the authentic truth.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang pandangan Martin Luther tentang keselamatan, ia menyatakan dengan tegas bahwa ia tidak menyetujui perbuatan manusia sebagai amal untuk mendapat keselamatan, melainkan seorang diselamatkan hanya melalui iman semata dan berdasar rahmat Allah sebab walaupun ia berdosa ia dibenarkan oleh Allah. Hanyalah rahmat Allah manusia diselamatkan dan dibenarkan. Hal ini disebabkan karena Martin Luther punya pengalaman-pengalaman yang mencekam. Lambat laun Kitab Suci menjadi kekuatan dominan yang membentuk pengetahuannya tentang Allah dan dirinya sendiri, lebih khusunya dalam penafsirannya terhadap surat Paulus kepada umat di Roma. Di situlah ia menelaah pernyataan tersebut dan kegelisahan hatinya terjawab dalam Kitab Suci. Oleh karena itu Martin Luther mengajarkan: “manusia diselamatkan hanya oleh rahmat Allah yang diterima melalui iman”.

Abstract

Di masa pandemi COVID-19, Gereja yang tidak memungkinkan melaksanakan Perayaan Ekaristi secara langsung di gedung-gedung gereja dapat melaksanakan Perayaan Ekaristi secara Live Streaming atau Misa Online. Hal ini dilakukan dengan alasan kesehatan dan keselamatan banyak orang. Solusi pastoral ini menimbulkan pertanyaan besar untuk kebanyakan umat tentang “Apakah Misa Online sungguh-sungguh Perayaan Ekaristi yang sah atau tidak?” Pertanyaan tersebut dapat dijawab dengan pemahaman mendasar tentang Misteri Ekaristi dan perkembangan sejarahnya sampai sekarang ini. Setelah itu, penting untuk memahami makna Ekaristi di masa pandemi COVID-19, sehingga pertanyaan sah atau tidaknya Misa Online dapat dipahami sungguh-sungguh secara kontekstual.

Abstract

In pre-religious times, primitive humans were aware of the cosmic power that governed the contents of the universe and human destiny. They offer various rituals such as songs, dances, offerings, sacrifices and prayers to worship their god. In a new chapter after people received revelation they began to look for the meaning of life that what we get in this world is only temporary. The question of what will happen to our bodies after death provides room for new reflections on the existence of a realm where death exists. Until the era of the development of philosophy, people were increasingly looking for identity by using their minds. Some people begin to think that what is material is false, impermanent and just an illusion. Finally those who received the ban withdrew and began to concentrate on finding a path to the divine for the sake of living a holy life. Mystics have succeeded in expressing the presence of divine love pouring out in their bodies and even that which is divine in the form of our daily actions.
