Abstract

Substance Pressure is a difficult material for most of the 8F students. They complained about how to understand and apply the concept in daily life. They liked social science than natural science. They prefered to memorize to calculate. Some students seldom submitted their assignments. Even at the end of odd semester there were three students who did not submit their assignments. Based on the problem, we tried to do a research entitled Upaya Peningkatan Performansi Siswa melalui Metode Tugas Proyek Pembuatan Dongkrak Hidrolis Sederhana pada Materi Penerapan Konsep Tekanan Zat di Kelas VIII-F TP. 2022/2023 (The effort of increasing students performances using the method of project assignment on the making of simple hydraulic jack on the substance pressure concept material at 8F class of MTs N 1 Lamongan 2022/2023 academic year. The class action research was conducted at 8F students of MTs N 1 Lamongan on the 20th February until 11Th March 2023. The subject of this research was the students of 8F class at MTs N 1 Lamongan 2022/2023 academic year. The total number of the students at 8F class is 29 students. The collecting data technique in this research was conducted by using pre test, post test and observation on the teaching learning process. the data of the evaluation test and the observation done by the observer (collaborator) indicated that there was a significant increase on the result of the test and the teaching learning activity done by the researcher. The research used teaching learning based project. In the teaching learning based project, the students were expected to be able to decide the schedules and create products. The class action research was conducted in two cycles. Based on the result of the test in cycle 1 and 2, it indicated that there was significant increase on the score as much as 10.2 each student.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to (1) improve student achievement in science subjects, the subject of heat transfer and (2) determine the effect of the STAD type cooperative learning model on the subject of heat transfer on student learning systems. Classroom action research (CAR) was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle. The subjects of this study were grade VI students of SDN Karangbinangun Kec. Karangbinangun, Lamongan Regency with a total of 18 students. The improvement that can be observed from the application of STAD type cooperative learning methods is the teaching and learning process centered on student activities through the application of this method students are more active because of the pleasant learning atmosphere, easy to understand the material because it is assisted through concrete learning media, discussions, questions and answers and peer tutors . The results of the study were quite good, in the first cycle of 18 students, 13 students increased (72.2%), 5 students did not increase (18%). In the second cycle of 18 students, 16 students increased (88.8%), 2 students did not increase (11.2%).

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to apply the method of questioning with a short card techniques in order to improve the learning outcomes of Civics. The research subjects were the sixth graders of the second state elementary school of Dumpiagung, Kembangbahu District, Lamongan. The study was designed in the Classroom Action Research (PTK). The result showed that the application of the method of questioning with a short card techniques could improve the learning outcomes of Civics. This is evident from the average value of second-grade students in the first cycle was 62.5 with a 45% passing rate. The number of students who pass were 9 students from 20 students. The average value of the second cycle test result was 70.5 to 60% the percentage of completeness. The number of students who pass were 12 students from 20 students.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to determine the increase in interest and Mathematics learning outcomes for students about the value of a primary school class IIA Brondong 4 First Half Year 2014/2015 through the use of demonstration. The subject of this action research is class IIA SD Negeri Brondong totaling 38 students consisting of 19 male students and 19 female students. Research procedure used is procedure classroom action research conducted in two cycles, coupled with the implementation of the activities prasiklus before the cycle begins. Pre-cycle of the data it can be concluded that there are 38 students 28 students or 83.69% are not yet complete, and only 10 students or 26.31% declared complete in learning. From that data needs to be improved so that learning by using demonstration method. Data from the first cycle can be concluded that there are 16 students or 42.11% are not yet complete, and 22 students or 57.89% declared complete in learning, while the average value of students in this cycle has reached 66.32. Of course this is not in accordance with what is expected so the need to proceed with the second cycle. In the second cycle can be concluded that there are 35 students 92.11% and only 4 students or 10.53% are not yet complete, the average has been experiencing a significant increase in line with expectations and that is equal to 89.47.

Abstract

The purpose of research to improve activity learning and achievement learning students in PKn learning through contextual approach by cooperative medel. The metode of research using qualitative approach. Designes of cycle opproach are plan, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject of research at X grade Multimedia is 44 students. The data collected using abservation, check list and documentation. Analyzing the data linier technique ( stream). The complete resulth research in one cycle from 21 students (47,73%) with average 67,57 and second cycle from 35 students (79,55%) with average 73,52. The conclution of research is activity learning through contextual approach by cooperative model in PKn learning at X grade in one semester of SMK Islam Tikung Lamongan in the academic year 2011/2012 can improve achievement learn student.

Abstract

The study was aimed to describe the improvement of mathematics learning outcomes in the element properties of Build Space and Symmetry using inquiry method at the sixth A graders of state elementary school Rejosari. The study was designed in a Class Action Research (PTK) within 2 cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages, namely action planning, action, evaluation, and reflection. Reflection activity was done with peers (collaborative partners). The instrument used was a written test in the form of worksheets. Through the application of Inquiry method supported by relevant media appeared to have a positive impact, which can increase student motivation and learning outcomes in the properties of the Elements Build Space and Symmetry material. It showed the students’ learning mastery. That proof can be observed from the results of the percentage of each cycle, i.e 60% in the first cycle and 79.50% in the second cycle. Thus, the application of Inquiry method can improve learning outcomes Mathematical properties of Elements Build Space and Symmetry material.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to describe the improvement of science learning achievement in the subject of Prevention of Damage to the Environment in the third graders of the state elementary school Plosoboden, Deket Lamongan using the Discovery Learning. This study was designed in a Class Action Research (PTK) within 2 cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages, namely action planning, action, evaluation, and reflection. The data in this study were collected by observation, documentation, and testing. Student learning outcomes after using Discovery Learning fairly complete. This was evidenced by the significant increase in the average value during the post-test in each cycle, i.e in the first cycle was 70.93, while in the second cycle was 77.81. Thus, the application of methods Discovery Learning can increase learning achievement in material science subjects Environmental Damage Prevention.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to describe the increase of the ability in determining the least common multiple via pair exchange in the sixth graders of the state elementary school Plosoboden, Deket. The research was conducted in the form of classroom action research (PTK), which consisted of two cycles, each cycle consisting of four phases, namely planning (plan), action (action), observation (observation), and reflection (reflection). Based on the results of data analysis, it showed that the administration of a couple exchanging method can improve the ability of determining the least common multiple. This was evidenced in the first cycle the average value of the class, originally 62.85% increased to 74.64% and cycle II class average value increased to 91.07%. Thus, the application of a pair exchange method was able to improve the ability of determining the least common multiple.

Abstract

The study was aimed to describe the application of image media approaches to improve Mathematics learning achievement of Interpersonal Understanding long unit material at the third graders of the first state Elementary School Rejotengah, Deket - Lamongan in the academic year of 2010-2011 in the first semester. The study design was used in the form of action research within two cycles. Each cycle formed in spiral from one cycle to the next cycle. Each cycle included planning (plan), action (action), observation (observation), and reflection (reflection). The data collected by the test. From the results of the test in the form of a written test can be obtained significant results, i.e the value of the test results before action of 9 learners can be obtained sum value of 63 with an average of 7.0. After holding action, there was an increase amount of the value to 72 with an average of 8.0. Thus, the use of media images can improve matehmatics learning achievement Interpersonal Understanding long unit material.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to describe the improvement of student achievement against the material of Explaining Regional Administration System Development Indonesia by using discussion method at the sixth graders of the state elementary school Weduni, Deket - Lamongan. The study design was used in the form of action research in three cycles. Each cycle included planning (plan), action (action), observation (observation), and reflection (reflection). The data collected by the test. Based on test results, the application of the method of discussion on the material of Explaining Regional Development Administration System Indonesia has increased significantly. This was evidenced by the results of each test cycle that always increase, i.e 60% of the first cycle, the second cycle 65%, and 74% the third cycle. Thus, the use of discussion method can improve the students’ achievement against the material of Explaining Regional Administration System Development Indonesia.
