Abstract

Learning using the techniques and Pin Card Application was a part of the teaching model of cooperative learning in a small group and for students who argued rewarded with pin. The result showed that there was a percentage increase in the number of active students who appreciate/ found either in the first cycle and the second cycle, the first cycle in the first meeting was on average of 67.6% and the second meeting was on average 76.7%, so an increase of 9.6% and in the first meeting of the second cycle an average of 77.3% and the second meeting on average 83.0%, so an increase of 6.3%. The results of the analysis of daily tests indicated that there was an increase of the students’ achievement that was the first cycle an average of 71.39 and absorption of students in the second cycle in the average of 78.82 of the students’ absorption, so that the increase in the students' absorption of 7.43. This classroom action research had proved that with the application of techniques and Apreciation Card could enhance the students' appreciation, achievement, and motivation in Art Education of the seventh graders of the first state yunior high school of Lamongan.

Abstract

This study was aimed to investigate the implementation of learning by making clipping in enhancing the learning and achievement of Social about the types of job through the creation of clipping. The study used classroom action research method which consisted of several cycles with each cycle there are planning, action, observation, and reflexion. The subjects were all of the third graders of The Second State Elementary School of Katemas, Kembangbahu District, Lamongan in the academic year of 2015/2016 in second semester in sum of 10 people. The result showed that learning by making clipping can improve the learning achievement of Social. It is characterized by an increase in students' mastery of classical study in the first cycle (60%) and the second cycle (100%) and the increase in the average value of students is 5.85 at 81.00 on the first cycle to the second cycle.

Abstract

The aim of this action research were to (1) describe the influence of exploration method in the Electric Energy Sources material and its use in science to improve the students’ learning outcomes and (2) know the influence of exploration method in the Electric Energy Sources material and its use in science to students’ motivation. This study was designed in a Classroom Action Research (PTK) within 3 cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages, namely the action planning, action, observation/ measurement, and reflection/ retrieval conclusion. This object was the sixth graders student of state elementary school Weduni, Deket - Lamongan. The data obtained from tests and observation sheet of formative learning activities. After applying the method, learning outcomes in the first cycle is as much as 56%. In the second cycle learning outcomes increased to 70%, and increased again to 88.66% in the third cycle. The conclusion from this study was the exploration method can be a positive influence on learning outcomes and students’ motivation of state elementary school of Weduni, Deket - Lamongan.

Abstract

The learning activities together can help stimulate active learning. Teaching and learning in the classroom is to stimulate active learning, but the ability to teach through the activities of a small group of co-operation will enable to promote active learning activities in a special way. What was discussed student with his friends and what it teaches students to his friends to enable them to gain an understanding and mastery of the subject matter. This study uses action research (action research) three rounds. each round consists of four stages: design, activities and observations, reflections, and refisi. Goal of this research is a class XI student Ak-1 of the school year 2014/2015. The data obtained as the result of formative tests, observation sheet teaching and learning activities. From the analysis we found that student achievement has increased from the first cycle to the third cycle, the first cycle (68.42%), the second cycle (81.58%), the third cycle (94.74%). The conclusions of this study is a cooperative learning can be a positive influence on students' achievement and motivation of Class XI Ak-1, and this model can be used as an alternative learning PAI.

Abstract

This study was conducted to describe the application of the production phase of exposition text, the difficulties encountered in the implementation phase of the production of texts exposition and strategies for resolving difficulties encountered in the implementation phase production exposition text in a text-based learning. This research data sourced from Indonesian teachers in class X MAN Babat Lamongan, Grade X IPA1 and exposition texts written by the students in groups and independent. The findings show that In the implementation phase of the production of texts exposition covers three stages, namely the planning stage in the form of lesson plans that have been created by teachers, the implementation phase which includes the activities of teachers and student activities, and assessment phase by evaluating the results of the product in the form of text exposition produced good students in groups or independently. The results showed the existence of difficulties in the implementation phase of the production of texts exposition comes from teachers and difficult student faced by teachers include adjusting format and systematics RPP, the selection of teaching methods, and the application of time allocation. Student difficulties include lack of student interest, difficulty communicating issues, and lack of learning resources.

Abstract

The purpose of this action research was to describe (1) the increase of the students’ achievement after the implementation of discovery learning and (2) the effect of students’ motivation after the implementation of discovery learning. The study used action research with three cycles. cycles consisted of four phases: design, activities and observations, reflections, and revision. The goal of the study was the forth graders of the first state elementary school of Paciran in the academic year of 2016/2017 in the first Semester . The data obtained in the form of a formative test results, observation sheet teaching and learning activities. From the analysis found that the students’ achievement had increased from the first cycle to the third cycle, namely, the first cycle (70.00%), the second cycle (85.00%), the third cycle 95.00%). The result showed that the use of the discovery learning gave a positive effect on the students' motivation so that it could be used as an alternative in learning science.

Abstract

The relationship between the activities of scouting education with student discipline is a container or vehicle for education in the form of a game as well as the implementation of an education in an extracurricular activity, especially scouting while discipline is an attitude that is obedient and follow rules. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is influence of scouting education to discipline students in grade V and VI Elementary School Gintungan I. In this study the authors use data analysis deemed appropriate and simple in its processing by using statistical analysis product moment correlation. Based on the analysis of the study showed that there was no significant influence of scouting education with student discipline, because t value of -2.288 smaller 5% level of 2.048, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, which means there is no significant effect. This is due to scouting activities just an extracurricular activity that is less than optimal implementation. Besides scouting activities is not a favorite choice in this school because there are other activities that drum band.

Abstract

The material chemical bond is a complicated matter because memorization combined with reasoning, and just imagining something we can not see and we observe directly, making the student saturated and misinterpretation if only to hear the teacher to review the material. For that we should bear Jigsaw Learning Model we apply to dispose of burnout and boredom of students, so that students interested in chemical bonding materials and ambition to get achievement in basic competencies chemical bonds. Literally learning model is a strategy to enhance learning motivation, learning attitude among students, capable of critical thinking, social skills and achieving a more optimal learning outcomes. That's why the development of the traditional learning model is becoming obsolete replaced by modern learning model. One of them learning model Jigsaw Learning. From these results, the model of Jigsaw Learning is seen that the class X-2 JIGSAW LEARNING higher values ​​with mastery 83%, while the control class X-1 value with 69% mastery.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to know (1) the ability of the leadership of Principal in increase the motivation of teachers, (2) the job motivation of teachers in carrying out their duties in accordance with the position and function, (3) Factors that become barriers for principal in increasing job motivation of teachers. The data source of the study was all of the teachers and education personnel on the state elementary school of Mangkujajar in 2016 which amounted to 10 people. The study used the description facultative with the instruments used are the result of performance of teachers and education personnel in the form of SKP or DP3 of the principal and the results stuffing covered respondents and interviews. Analysis of the data used was the qualitative and quantitative analysis using a statistical correlation. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between the leadership of the Principal with teachers’ work motivation.

Abstract

The study, entitled Application of the Concept Sentence Learning Model in Poetry Writing Materials for Class V Students in Elementary Schools, was motivated by learning that provided opportunities for students to actively learn by changing student-centered learning models. The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) student learning skills, (2) student activities, (3) student responses, and (4) teacher activities. This research was carried out at MI Darul Ulum, Wudi village, Sambeng district, Lamongan regency. The subject of this research was the fifth grade students totaling 20 students. The data taken from this study were data about the implementation of the concept sentence learning model on poetry writing material. Data collection techniques used are observation, tests and questionnaires. The observation method is used to find out the activities of students and teachers during the learning process. The test method is used to determine the level of student learning completeness individually or classical after the concept sentence learning model is carried out. The questionnaire method is used to find out the student's response to the learning that has been done. Based on the research, it is known that the application of effective concept sentence learning models applied to Indonesian language learning poetry writing material in fifth grade elementary schools, especially the Darul Ulum MI in Wudi Village, Sambeng District, Lamongan Regency, in terms of several things, among others; (1) learning completeness of 90% of students was declared complete, while 10% of students still needed to need guidance to make poetry. (2) percentage of student activities, amounting to 93.80% of students have positive activities in learning, while 6.20% of students still behave not in accordance with learning. (3) positive response from students, 89% of students responded very happy, 10% of students responded happily, and 1% of students responded unhappy. (4) the teacher's response, 86.25% of the teacher's positive activities are very supportive in the learning process, while 13.75% there are teacher activities that are not related to the learning process.
