Abstract

The problem in social studies in the 4th students of Sidokare 3 Elementary School shows that students learning outcomes on the continent material have not yet reached the KKM. The incomplete achievement of student learning outcomes is caused that most of students do not understand abaut the names and locations of coutries and have not been able to mention the characteristics of large countries on each continent. That is caused by the teachers are still oriented by textbooks, the lessons are still focus on memorization, the methods applied by teachers tend to be teacher activities not students activities and also less use of leaning media. An alternative solution to the problem is using the Team Quiz model combined with Petak Umpet Media. This study used CAR model. The research subject were 4th Sidokare 3 students of 35. The result showed that in the pre-cycle of 46%, the first cycle was 71%, and the second cycle was 94%. The conclusion is that the Team Quiz model combined with Petak Umpet Media can improve the learning outcomes of continental social studies material in 4th Sidokare Elementary School students of Sidoarjo.

Abstract

This study aims to describe (1) increasing PKn learning achievement and (2) the influence of PKn learning motivation after the implementation of cooperative learning in the STAD model. This action research was carried out in three cycles and used a tool to collect teacher-made test data and observation sheets. The research subjects were students of class VI Semester II at Moro Elementary School. The results showed that the cooperative learning method of the STAD model could improve the quality of PKn learning. The STAD model cooperative learning method has a positive impact on increasing student learning prestige which is characterized by an increase in student learning completeness in each cycle, namely the first cycle (68.42%), cycle II (81.58%), cycle III (94.74% ).

Abstract

This research was aimed to; (1) increase the ability of researcher in the scientific thinking on learning English, (2) increase the motivation to learn English in the eightth graders-E of the first state yunior high school at Kalitengah in writing and speaking skill, and (3) determine an increase of English learning in writing and speaking skill in the eightth graders E of the first state yunior high school at Kalitengah through Learning by Doing. The subjects of the research were the eightth graders-E of the first state yunior high school at Kalitengah in the academic year 2014/2015. The research was conducted in February 2015. The material presented was Text Procedure, short functional text such as: Announcement and short message. The result of the study was the cooperative learning model Learning By Doing had a positive impact in improving student achievement marked by increased mastery learning students in each cycle, the first cycle of 61.76%, 79.41% the second cycle, the third cycle 93.93%. Based on these data we could conclude that although the results of student learning not achieve maximum results, but it indicated the change towards a better direction. Thus the students' ability to understand the content of reading English texts and communicate through cooperative learning methods Learning By Doing models had been increased.

Abstract

The purposes of the study were (1) to describe the civics learning process by giving the recycling task method and (2) to describe an increase of civics students' learning achievement by giving the recycling task. The study was conducted at the first graders of the state elementary school of Tukkerto, Deket – Lamongan, which was designed to classroom action research (PTK) within three cycles. Each cycle was done through four stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results showed that the learning outcomes of students in the first cycle in the average value of 61.50 with students’ learning mastery of 45.00%, in the second cycle increased to 65.75 with 60.00% completeness, and the third cycle increased to 71.37 with thoroughness 87.50%. These results recommended that the implementation of recycling task can improve civics learning achievement.

Abstract

The study was aimed to (1) describe the Islamic Education (PAI) learning process through collaborative learning model and (2) describes the learning achievement of PAI through collaborative learning model. The study was conducted at the sixth graders of state elementary school Weduni, Deket – Lamongan, which was designed to classroom action research (PTK) within three cycles. Each cycle was done through four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed that the students’ achievement has increased from cycle I to III, that was the first cycle (73.17%), Cycle II (82.93%), and the third cycle (95.12%). The results showed that the method of collaborative learning can improve Islamic education learning achievement.

Abstract

Counseling services that use a lot of verbal, would be boring, otherwise the teaching and guidance counseling or services would be more interesting if the students excited to learn or happy because they feel interested and understand the material received the services. Thus the learning activities will be more effective. Phenomena mentioned above, encourage researcher to undertook an action research (action research) in Counseling services using information services in seventh A graders. The presentation result of the data research proved that the service information in Guidance Counseling services, could increase students' motivation in Guidance Counseling services that affect the interest of students in the seventh A graders of the the first state yunior high school Kalitengah Lamongan in following Counseling services.

Abstract

The purpose of the research development of the Regional Children's story book Lamongan set were (1) to describe the process of the development of the Regional Children's story book at Lamongan to Improve the students in elementary school; (2) describe the quality of the Regional Children's story book at Lamongan, (3) to Improve the students in elementary school’s character developed, based on (a) the appropriateness of content, (b) the feasibility of presentation, (c) the feasibility of the language, (d) the feasibility of graphic; (3) describe the implementation storybook developed, including (a) the teachers’ activities, (b) students’ activities, (c) the students’ achievement, (d) the supporting factors, and (e) limiting factor when implementing the Regional Children's story book at Lamongan. Abstract

Education as an integral part of community life in the global era should be able to provide and facilitate the growth of intelectual skills, social and personal. But apparently there were still many problems that arise in the school, including the following: the method used in mathematic instruction was lectures, discussion, and discussion, it had never implement cooperative learning model Think Pairs Share, and had never been implementing instructional media flash player. From the results of learning activities that had been performed for two cycles, and based the entire discussion and analysis had been done can be summarized as follows: (1) The type of cooperative learning model TPS (think pair share) with flash media player had a positive impact in improving student achievement marked by increased mastery learning students in each cycle, that cycle I = 58.3% and cycle II = 88.9 %; (2) The implementation of cooperative learning model TPS (think pair share) with flash media player had a positive influence. Abstract

The study was aimed to describe (1) the learning plan of reading fluently with playing guess fighting media, (2) the learning process of reading fluently with playing guess fighting media, and (3) the increase of yield learning to read fluently with the media playing guessing contest. The study was conducted in the first grade students of SDN Pandanpancur III, Deket, Lamongan. The research was designed with classroom action research (PTK) was conducted in two cycles. The results showed that an average pra-action the students’ learning outcomes was 67.8. In the first cycle, the average of students’ reading ability was 68.6 and the students’ reading ability in the second cycle increased to 74. Students who pass on pra-action were ten students or 33.3%, in the first cycle increased to 15 students or 50% and the second cycle increased to 26 students or 86.7%. Thus completeness classical reaches 80% was reached. This showed that the guess fighting media can increase the first graders’ ability in reading fluently.

Abstract

The study aimed to find the alternative solutions in order to improve the discipline in the presence and leave of teachers in the classroom through the impelemtation of Reward and Punishment. This action research conducted to the teachers at the state elementary school of Maor, Kembangbahu , Lamongan in the first semester in the academic year of 2016/2017. The design of the study was a research design schools plot action, namely making cycle of an action plan, implementing action, observation and reflection of the implementation of the action during the two cycles. The results of these reflections were used as a guide for decision making a decision to continue or discontinue the study. The study was conducted a spiral in cycles until the second cycle. The results showed that the performance of teachers increased after the action of the implementation of Reward and Punishment for two cycles. Such improvements included an increase in developing school programs, execute, make the administration, conducting evaluations until the discipline to go to the class, implementing the learning, assessing learning achievement, and carrying out the follow up assessments of students’ achievement.
