Abstract

Employing a descriptive qualitative approach grounded in cultural studies, the research treats Instagram as a cultural space in which meaning is produced. Data were collected through digital observation of circulating post traces, documentation of posters and captions, and analysis of audience interaction patterns across public channels connected to Project Dakwah. The findings indicate that Project Dakwah constructs a consistent pattern of poster-based moral messaging that emphasizes self-reflection, emotional intimacy, and everyday piety. Message compression and minimalist visual design render da‘wah compatible with the logics of visibility and circulation characteristic of social media platforms. At the same time, the study identifies a conversion mechanism through which online resonance is translated into offline action via operational pathways of participation, including donations, scheduled almsgiving, Qur’an classes, study circles, volunteering, and the strengthening of offline da‘wah spaces. The study concludes that Project Dakwah’s digital da‘wah exhibits the ambivalence of the mediatization of religion, simultaneously expanding reach while compressing meaning, yet sustained by community-deepening strategies that support the continuity of social practice. Abstract

Digital media plays a strategic role in public health communication, including in the dissemination of information about Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). However, the effectiveness of digital communication is not only determined by the availability of platforms, but also by strategic planning, internal collaboration, and message sustainability. This study aims to analyse the use of digital media by the Banda Aceh City Health Office in communicating HIV to the public. This study uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation methods. The research informants consisted of those responsible for HIV programmes and digital media managers within the Health Office. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and thematic conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the use of digital media in HIV communication is still not optimal. This can be seen from the limited consistency and continuity of content on various digital platforms, so that HIV issues have not been established as a strong health communication agenda in the public sphere. In addition, differences in educational backgrounds between those responsible for HIV programmes and digital media managers have become structural barriers to health communication. The separation of roles between health content developers and technical communication implementers has resulted in HIV messages tending to be delivered in an informative and normative manner, without a collaborative and persuasive communication strategy. This study also found that HIV messages are simplified in an effort to avoid stigma and discrimination against survivors. Although ethically relevant, simplifying messages has the potential to limit the depth of public understanding of HIV issues. Furthermore, the absence of a sustainable digital communication strategy has resulted in reactive and momentum-based HIV communication, preventing digital media from functioning optimally as a means of improving public health literacy. The Banda Aceh City Health Office's use of digital media in HIV management has not been managed strategically and sustainably. Long-term communication planning, cross-sector collaboration, and a communication approach that can improve health literacy while minimising stigma in the community are needed.

Abstract

The oil and gas industry heavily relies on drilling rig integrity managed through periodic inspections. However, traditional and fragmented inspection data management—scattered across PDFs, spreadsheets, and manual records—creates chronic problems such as poor asset condition visibility, expiring certifications, delayed non-conformance report (NCR) follow-ups, and inefficient audit processes. This situation increases operational and safety risks. This study analyzes effective digital marketing strategies to accelerate the adoption of the Integrated Rig Inspection Management System (IRIMS™), a cloud-based integrated platform that unifies inspection scheduling, certification tracking, and NCR monitoring. Using a quantitative survey-based approach with drilling industry practitioners, this research employs the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Diffusion of Innovation Theory to build a structural model (SEM) examining relationships between digital marketing strategies, technology perception, and adoption. The analysis results indicate that the most significant digital marketing strategies influencing adoption are in-depth educational approaches and intensive communication through professional channels. Technical webinars, LinkedIn thought leadership, and pilot project demonstrations proved most effective in shaping positive perceptions of system usefulness and building user trust. These findings confirm that education-focused digital marketing can overcome adoption barriers such as cultural resistance and data security concerns, thereby accelerating digital transformation in rig inspection management. IRIMS™ implementation has the potential to significantly improve data transparency, process optimization, and audit readiness.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Public speaking skills are essential communication competencies that students need to develop in order to effectively convey ideas and information in academic and social contexts. However, many students still experience difficulties in speaking in front of an audience due to a lack of confidence and limited opportunities for structured speaking practice. Therefore, learning media that facilitate continuous communication training are necessary to support the development of students’ speaking competencies. This study aims to analyze the role of muhadharah activities as a medium for developing students’ public speaking competencies at MTs Mambaul Ulum Bengkulu Tengah. This research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations of muhadharah activities, interviews with supervising teachers and students, and documentation related to the implementation of the program. The analysis was guided by public speaking theory which emphasizes the ability to deliver messages clearly, systematically, and confidently before an audience. The findings indicate that muhadharah activities are conducted regularly and systematically with guidance from teachers prior to students’ performances. These activities contribute positively to the development of students’ public speaking competencies, including increased confidence in speaking before an audience, improved fluency in delivering speech materials, better mastery of speech content, and stronger self-confidence. Continuous practice through muhadharah activities enables students to become more accustomed to speaking in public and to communicate their ideas more effectively. Therefore, muhadharah can function as an effective medium for developing students’ public speaking competencies at MTs Mambaul Ulum Bengkulu Tengah.
