Abstract

This study presents a comprehensive analysis of verbal derivation in Lampung Language Dialects A and O, employing a computational linguistic approach to identify affixation patterns, morphophonemic processes, and the semantic and syntactic contributions of affixes. Verbal data were categorized according to prefixes, infixes, suffixes, and circumfixes. The findings show that both dialects exhibit highly consistent verbal derivation systems. The nasal prefix (N-) is the most productive, marking active transitivity and causativity, with identical nasal assimilation processes in both dialects (b/p → m-, d/t → n-, k/g → ng-, s/c/j → ny-, vowels → nge-/ng-). Other prefixes, such as di-, consistently indicate passivization, while be-/ber- and te-/ti- signal reciprocal/stative verbs and unintentional passives. Major suffixes (-ken, -ko, -an, -kon) function as causative, applicative, or result markers, whereas infixes (-el-, -em-, -en-, -er-) primarily modify phonology or add semantic nuance. Dialect comparison confirms strong structural similarity, with minor phonetic variations, such as object suffixes (-ni/-na in Dialect A vs. -no in Dialect O) and less productive affixes (bu- in Dialect A, per- in Dialect O). Formalization of derivation rules in Python successfully predicted most derived forms, although further refinement is needed for nasal assimilation on vowel-initial stems and vowel deletion in suffixation. This study underscores the fundamental similarity in Lampung verbal morphology and opens opportunities for computational linguistic applications, including morphological analyzers, translation tools, and language learning systems, which are vital for the preservation of regional languages. The results also contribute to a deeper understanding of Austronesian morphological typology.

Abstract

The rapid evolution of digital infrastructure in higher education institutions, particularly at Muhammadiyah University of Pringsewu, demands highly mobile and responsive network management. This study develops an Android-based remote router management application that integrates the MikroTik Application Programming Interface (API) to overcome the limitations of static desktop-based management. This study uses an empirical engineering approach with the Waterfall software development life cycle (SDLC) model, focusing on real-time monitoring of CPU, RAM, and bandwidth traffic, as well as active control of network interfaces and hotspot services. Field testing on the RB4011iGS+RM router shows that the implementation of asynchronous data processing and a Glassmorphism-based user interface significantly improves administrator situational awareness. The results show a 100% success rate in executing critical commands such as interface toggling and instant user disconnection (kick user), with an average response time of less than 1.1 seconds. The synthesis of findings confirms the hypothesis that this API-based mobile application improves network management efficiency and reduces response time during critical downtime. This study concludes that the transition to a mobile-first management ecosystem is a strategic necessity in maintaining high-availability digital services in modern academic environments.

Abstract

The increasing number of motorcycles in Indonesia is not accompanied by adequate technical understanding among their users, resulting in frequent delays in handling mechanical anomalies that result in fatal damage. This study aims to design and implement MotoDoctorAI, a mobile-based expert system that functions as a motorcycle damage diagnosis assistant in the Pringsewu Regency area. The research method uses qualitative and quantitative approaches through field observations at authorized repair shops, expert interviews for tacit knowledge acquisition, and an Agile system development model. This system integrates an inference engine to process engine, fuel system, and undercarriage damage symptoms into technical recommendations. Test results show that MotoDoctorAI successfully achieved a diagnostic accuracy rate of 85% when compared to expert mechanic verdicts. An additional feature in the form of a geographic information system for the location of the nearest repair shop in Pringsewu provides a practical contribution in accelerating access to after-sales service. This study concludes that digitizing expert knowledge into a mobile platform is effective in increasing vehicle maintenance independence for the general public, although further development is needed in the aspect of audio sensor integration to improve diagnostic precision.

Abstract

The rapid development of modern game technology drives the urgent need for efficient pathfinding systems and structured development processes. In maze-based games, routing algorithms are highly crucial for regulating Non-Player Character (NPC) movements optimally. This research implements the Dijkstra algorithm for shortest pathfinding on an elephant character in the 2D game "Great Elephant" using the Unity Engine. This study serves as an extension of previous research that implemented the A* algorithm. The game development methodology applies the iterative Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) framework to ensure a structured production process. Furthermore, software quality testing focuses on the functionality aspect using the ISO 25010 standard through two distinct scenarios: the character's success in reaching the destination and the algorithm's success in finding the shortest route. The test results directly executed within Unity demonstrate that the Dijkstra algorithm successfully navigates the elephant character from the starting coordinates to the destination point optimally. The system accurately evaluates 19 search points and successfully determines the single best shortest route consisting of 7 node points without any obstacles or computational errors. Based on the evaluation of the ISO 25010 functionality criteria, the implementation of the Dijkstra algorithm in the game "Great Elephant" achieves a perfect success rate of 100%.
