Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe conjunction within the rubric of "editorial " Lampung Post newspaper and its implications for Indonesian learning in high school. The method that used is descriptive qualitative method. Sources of data in this study is the rubric " editorial " Lampung Post newspaper. Based on the analysis of data found conjunction form there are coordinative conjunction, subordinating conjunction, correlative conjunction, and conjunction between sentences. Lampung Post newspapers especially the rubric " editorial " can be used as a source of learning because it has been researched the phrase is used and written in according with standard. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan konjungtor dalam rubrik “tajuk” surat kabar Lampung Post dan implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah rubrik “tajuk” surat kabar Lampung Post. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan konjungtor berupa konjungtor koordinatif, konjungtor subordinatif, konjungtor korelatif, dan konjungtor antarkalimat. Surat kabar Lampung Post terutama rubrik “tajuk” dapat dijadikan sumber belajar karena setelah diteliti penggunaan dan tulisan di dalam kalimat sudah sesuai dengan ragam baku serta bentuk ketidaktepatan penggunaannya hanya sedikit. Keywords: conjunction, learning resources.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/Kata.v9.i1.202101

Abstract

The legal basis for the application of learning based on local wisdom in higher education in Indonesia is contained in Permenristekdikti Number 44 of 2015concerning the National Standards of Higher Education (SNPT). This is the basis of this research article. This study is entitled "Teaching Material Based on Local Wisdom (Piil Pesenggiri) with the Support of Interactive Learning Media Based on Prezi Presentation". The research objective is to design teaching materials based on local wisdom (Piil Pesenggiri) with the support of interactive learning media based on Prezi Presentation. Based on the results of the study it can beconcluded that: 1) by internalizing the values contained in the Pesenggiri Piil in Poetry Study teaching materials, students are able to get positive values on poetry; 2) by involving local wisdom in teaching materials, students are able to absorb the norms and values contained in the Pesenggiri Piil; 3) entering theIndustrial Revolution 4.0 era, teaching materials supported by interactive learning media based on Prezi Presentation are very relevant and more interesting.

Abstract

The problem that will be examined in this article is collaborative learning in Indonesian language subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Kotabumi. The purpose of writingis to describe the application of collaborative learning in Indonesian language subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Kotabumi. Based on the results of reflection, obtainedsome lessons learned such as: a) collaborative learning tools development resulting in more directed learning plan designs, interactive learning media, and more interesting teaching materials, b) the application of teaching collaboration between teachers and lecturers makes the evaluation process learning is better covered, c) the use of collaborative learning methods opens space for teachers and lecturers to discuss so as to improve cooperative skills and improve the quality of learning in schools.

Abstract

This article discusses icons, indexes, and symbols in a short story. The semiotic approach is used as a literary approach to discuss this. The short story to be analyzed is the short story Three Stories About the tongue by Guntur Alam. The titles are (1) the death of the bitter tongue, (2) the tongue which tells of jurai; (3) Storyteller Tongue Wars. Each story title will be analyzed using icon, index, and symbol theory. Following is the explanation of the analysis results of the three story titles. Study of icons, indexes, and symbols in the death of the bitter tongue. The icon in the story of the death of the bitter tongue can be seen from the word "bitter tongue", the index can be seen from the incident "the death of the character Mak Yun", and the symbol can be seen from the people's actions, namely distrust of the medical world. Study of icons, indices, and symbols in Tongues that tell the story of jurai. The word Ebok is an icon of a father figure who has passed away. The index can be seen from the condition / fact that the father of my character is a bad person (has two wives). Symbols can be seen from the word sharp nosed, dark skin, bridesmaids, curly hair with thick lips are symbols of someone who is hedonistic. Study of icons, indexes and symbols in the Storyteller's Tongue War. The word coffee shop or coffee shop is an icon of the setting where the tongue war took place. The index was marked on the incident of the tongue war between Cik lam and Cik Mim. Symbol seen from the word grunt which means to breathe hard which indicates a heartbeat that is also beating fast (anger).

Abstract

Literature criticism could be used as media for connecting the reader and the literature. Stages done in literature criticism is started by interpretation, analysis, and evaluation. Based on interpreation, analysis, and evaluation, this rhyme use clear diction, so it’s become inappropriate for student. In addition, some Indonesian words such as berak, kencing, cebok, and kentut are assumed as inappropriate words. Thus, this literature has low education value for young readers, like students. The use of inappropriate enjambemen also creates and produces unclear meaning in every line of literature.

Abstract

Lesson Study is considered effective to be used to improve the quality of learning. Lesson Study implementation can be assisted by the application of problem-based learning model (PBL). Through PBL students' critical thinking skills can be improved. The purpose of the research in this article is to increase students' critical thinking skills within the framework of Lesson Study through a problem-based learning model. The method used in this research is a qualitative-quantitative method with the type of action research. Qualitative data were obtained from observation sheets, while quantitative data were obtained from student learning outcomes. The success of research based on qualitative data if 80% of the implementation of learning is in accordance with the learning scenario, while the success of quantitative data is obtained if at least 65% of students get good grades. Based on the results of the research, 80% of learning activities are in accordance with the learning scenario, while students who score in a good category are 71.42%, which means more than 65%. From the learning process, several findings were obtained. The findings are: (1) the didactic challenge is a mandatory thing that must be presented in the implementation of learning; (2) didactic challenges must be contextual; (3) problem-based learning improves students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Coronavirus or Covid-19 is viruses group of the Orthocoronavirinae member of Coronaviridae family and the order Nidovirales. This virus can cause disease not only human, but also birds and mammals. The extraordinary events caused by the corona virus become a new problem in various fields of life, including in the field of education. Every educator is required to be able to innovate, so that the learning process and physical limitations can both continue. Therefore, not long after the physical restriction instructions were applied, the online learning model or commonly referred to as e-learning began to be socialized. The purpose of writing this article is to see the effectiveness of the Guru Virtual platform as an daring learning medium. To conduct this research, researcher uses descriptive qualitative method. Qualitative descriptive method is a method that analyzes research in the form of descriptions not in the form of numbers or coefficients about the relationship between variables. The data gathered from the research is in the form of words or pictures not numbers. The data was collected by designing learning scenarios, recording, and interviewing. In addition, the calculation of student learning outcomes is also carried out to see learning outcomes using the Guru Virtual. Based on the results of interviews with students, Guru Virtual is an effective platform to be used as an daring learning platform. Based on the calculation of student learning outcomes, it was obtained an average value of 74.9 with a good category.

Abstract

Kompetensi gramatikal anak umur 3,6 tahun: Studi kasus. Pemerolehan tata bahasa anak tidak selalu mulus tanpa kesalahan. Sangat sering anak-anak menghasilkan ucapan yang tidak ditemukan dalam ucapan orang dewasa dan dianggap sebagai kesalahan. Kesalahan ini sering tidak dapat diperbaiki, yaitu, anak-anak terus mengulangi kesalahan yang sama meskipun koreksi oleh orang dewasa berulang kali diberikan. Penelitian tentang kompetensi gramatikal anak selama ini difokuskan pada jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan anak. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap kompetensi gramatikal seorang anak laki-laki berusia 3;6 tahun dengan berfokus pada jenis kalimat yang dia sudah dapat produksi dan mendeskripsikan seperti apa kalimat tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa empat jenis kalimat terjadi sepanjang ucapan yang diproduksi anak dan sebagian besar berstruktur pernyataan dengan mengubah pola intonasi.

Abstract

Internalization is an effort to instill values ​​and norms into a person. The internalization of religious values ​​in the novel Whispering Angel by Asma Nadia in high school is an interesting study to do. The purpose of this study is to describe the internalization of religious values ​​contained in Asma Nadia's novel Whispering Bidadari and describe the learning plan for internalizing religious values ​​contained in Asma Nadia's Whispering Bidadari novel in high school. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that there is a religious value in the Whispering Angel novel, namely 1) the relationship between humans and God, 2) the relationship between humans and oneself, 3) the relationship between humans and other humans, and 4) the relationship between humans and nature. Based on the results of the study, religious values ​​in the novel Whispering Angel by Asma Nadia can be internalized to high school students. Teachers can internalize the religious values ​​contained in the novel into students by designing learning competencies and objectives, learning materials or materials, methods, strategies, and learning evaluations. Then, the teacher carries out the learning steps which consist of opening, learning core, and closing.
