Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational commitment on employee performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. The population and sample in this study were employees of the Surakarta city customs office and the number of respondents as samples in this study were 100 people, but 80 people included in the research criteria. Sources of data used in this study is primary data. data collection method using a questionnaire. data analysis used using Smart PLS. (1) The results of the affective commitment variable have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. (2) The results of the continuance commitment variable have a negative but significant effect on job satisfaction. (3) The results of the normative commitment variable have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. (4) The results of the affective commitment variable have a positive but not significant effect on employee performance on employees. (5) The results of the continuance commitment variable have a positive but not significant effect on employee performance. (6) The results of the normative commitment variable have a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance. (7) The results of the job satisfaction variable have a positive and significant effect on employee performance on employees.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of total quality management, performance measurement system, reward system, and management control system on the performance of unit managers at RSU Fastabiq Sehat PKU Muhammadiyah Pati. The method of data collection in this study was a questionnaire filled out by respondents, namely unit managers who worked at RSU Fastabiq Sehat PKU Muhammadiyah Pati. Sampling of 30 respondents in this study using purposive sampling method. The results of this study reveal that: (1) total quality management has no significant effect on managerial performance. (2) the performance measurement system has an effect on managerial performance. (3) the reward system has no effect on managerial performance. (4) the management control system has an effect on managerial performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and discuss the effect of celebrity endorsement and E-WOM on repurchase intention on Scarlett products with brand image as a mediating variable. The population in this study were students who were consumers of Scarlett products in the city of Surakarta with a sample of 160 respondents. Data collection techniques through the distribution of questionnaires. Data analysis in this study used Smart PLS version 3.0. The sampling technique in this study uses purposive sampling and data testing techniques used in this study include the outer model consisting of convergent validity, discriminant validity, composite reliability, Cronbach's alpha and multicollinearity tests as well as the inner model consisting of coefficient determination, goodness of fit, effect size test (f2), and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that celebrity endorsement has a significant effect on brand image, E-WOM has a significant effect on brand image, brand image has a significant effect on repurchase intention, celebrity endorsement has a significant effect on repurchase intention, E-WOM has no significant effect on repurchase intention, brand image role in mediating between celebrity endorsement and repurchase intention, brand image mediating role between E-WOM and repurchase intention.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of Regional Original Income, and General Allocation Funds on the Human Development Index with Gross Regional Domestic Product as an intervening variabel in districts/cities in Central Java in 2017-2019. The approach in this research is to use a descriptive approach. Descriptive method aims to determine the relationship and a deeper nature between variabels. The data analysis method used is the multiple regression method and path analysis is used to test the hypothesis. The results of the study show that the Regional Original Income has no effect on the Human Development Index. The General Allocation Fund has an effect on the Human Development Index. Meanwhile, Regional Original Income has an effect on the Human Development Index through Gross Regional Domestic Product. The General Allocation Fund has no effect on the Human Development Index through Gross Regional Domestic Product.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of audit fees, audit tenure, size of company, audit rotation, and institutional ownership of audit quality in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Dependent variable used in this study is audit quality and the independent variables in this study are audit fees, audit tenure, company size, audit rotation and institutional ownership. The population in this study are property and real estate companies registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2018-2020. Samples were taken by purposive sampling method and obtained 37 companies as samples. The hypothesis testing of this research was carried out by using linear regression analysis. The result of this study indicates that the fee audit, audit tenure, audit rotation and institusional ownership have no effect on audit quality, while company size has an effect on audit quality.

Abstract

Prevalence of stunting in children under five in the world in 2019, which was 23.1% and in Indonesia in 2018, which was 30.8%. Exclusive breastfeeding is one of the factors that causes stunting in children under five. Breast milk contains nutrients that are in accordance with the growth and development of toddlers which can prevent stunting in children under five. This critical review design was aimed to review the articles related to exclusive breastfeeding and stunting in children under five. Articles were searched using the Google Scholar database source with a publication year of at least the last 10 years from national repute journal indexed by SINTA. This study reviewed 10 articles related to exclusive breastfeeding and stunting in children under five. This study found that most of the articles (7 articles) were showed a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and stunting in children under five. According to these results, it is necessary to carry out promotive and preventive activities in the form of education related to exclusive breastfeeding to prevent and reduce the percentage of stunting in children under five.

Abstract

This study discusses how leadership style and work motivation affect employee performance through employee involvement as a mediating variable at PT. Sunwoo Garment Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the effect of leadership style, work motivation on employee performance through employee involvement as a mediating variable at PT. Sunwoo Garment Indonesia. The sampling technique used is the non probability sampling technique with a total of 100 respondents who are employees at PT. Sunwoo Garment Indonesia. The analytical test tool used is SmartPLS. The results of this study indicate that leadership style has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance, leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement, work motivation has a negatif and insignificant effect on employee performance, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement, employee engagement has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. significant on employee performance, leadership style on employee performance with employee involvement as a mediating variable shows a significant positive relationship, work motivation on employee performance with employee involvement as a mediating variable shows a significant positive relationship.

Abstract

Gender refers to the relationship between men and women and how these social relationships are constructed. Gender inequality occurs in all aspects of life. The results of human development do not provide equitable benefits between men and women and have not been effective enough in increasing women's development achievements in the fields of education, employment and the economy. Gender inequality in rights, resources, and political access not only harms women in general but also harms members of society as well as hinders development. Low gender equality will limit productivity, economic growth and reduce overall development efficiency. This study aims to determine the effect of the gender development index, gender empowerment index, women's involvement in parliament, the average length of schooling for women and the number of female civil servants on economic development in the Surakarta residency area in 2016-2020. This study uses secondary data with panel data regression analysis. Panel data is a combination of cross section and time series data. The model chosen in this study is to use the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) method after performing the Chow test and Hausman test. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously the variables of the gender development index, gender empowerment index, women's involvement in parliament, the average length of schooling for women and the number of female civil servants have an effect on economic growth. Partially, the gender development index variable has a negative and insignificant effect, the gender empowerment index has a positive and insignificant effect, the involvement of women in parliament has a positive and insignificant effect, the average length of schooling for women has a negative and significant effect, and the number of female civil servants has a negative effect. and significant to economic growth.

Abstract

Background: Diabetes is characterized by blood sugar exceeding normal levels (hyperglycemia). Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that cannot be cured. However, blood glucose levels can be controlled using the five pillars of diabetes mellitus management. One of them is by doing physical exercise. A recommended physical exercise for clients with diabetes mellitus without ulcers is to do diabetic foot exercises. Purpose: To determine the effect before and after diabetic foot exercise on blood glucose levels in clients with diabetes mellitus through a literature review. Methods: The data collection technique used a literature review of five articles from online databases on GoogleScholar and Pubmed published in 2016-2020. The critical analysis instrument used is Hawker. Results: the results of the literature review of the five articles showed that from 171 respondents, three research articles were using the T-test method. It can be concluded that there is an effect of diabetic foot exercise on blood glucose levels in clients with diabetes mellitus with p < 0.005. Meanwhile, two articles use the Wilcoxon method. One article concluded that there is an effect of diabetic foot exercise on blood glucose levels. Another article concluded that there is no effect of diabetic foot exercise on blood glucose levels in clients with diabetes mellitus with p> 0.005. Conclusion: there is an effect of diabetic foot exercise on blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

Hypertension is a condition of increasing in systolic blood pressure of more than 140 or diastolic 90. This is a disease that is one of health problem in Indonesia. One of the representations of hypertension is related to complaints that are often felt. The purpose of this study was to describe the description of complaints and the degree of hypertension in hypertensive patients at RSI Pekajangan. Type of this research is descriptive. The sample in this study was 84 samples from a population of 106 medical records of impatients with hypertension at RSI. The results showed that the age group that underwent hypertension was 33.3% in the late elderly group (56 to 65 years), the sufferers was dominated by women as much as 70.2%. The most patients occupied as housewives, with total of 44 patients. The highest complaint in hypertension patients was dizziness as much as 38.1% and the highest degree of hypertension was in the grade 2 hypertension group as many as 40 patients. Most hypertensive patients who are treated feel dizzy and are included in the grade 2 hypertension group
