Abstract

The development of laboratory information systems has become a primary focus in efforts to enhance efficiency and accuracy in laboratory operations. This article discusses the need for system development and evaluates the existing systems, which may be inefficient or inaccurate. Through analysis, it is found that repetitive manual tasks, such as data entry, inventory tracking, and report generation, result in time wastage and increased human errors. Furthermore, fragmented and non-integrated systems in laboratories impede smooth information flow, reduce operational efficiency, and increase the risk of errors. Reporting is also limited and time-consuming. Based on this background, this journal aims to develop an efficient and accurate laboratory information system. The development methodology includes user requirement gathering, needs analysis, system design, development, and implementation. In the development process, tools and technologies such as RFID are employed to improve operational efficiency and data accuracy. Integration among system components is also enhanced to facilitate smoother information flow. The evaluation results demonstrate significant benefits of the laboratory information system development. Manual tasks can be reduced, operational efficiency is enhanced, and the risk of human errors is decreased. Tracking and monitoring become easier, while reporting becomes faster and more accurate. With the adoption of an integrated laboratory information system, laboratories can improve their efficiency and accuracy in operations. In conclusion, the development of a laboratory information system is a crucial step in enhancing efficiency and accuracy. Through appropriate approaches and the implementation of information technology, laboratories can reduce reliance on manual work, improve data accuracy, and facilitate smooth information flow. The implementation of an efficient laboratory information system will have a positive impact on productivity and service quality in laboratories.

Abstract

Betta fish cultivation is currently in great demand, betta fish is one of the most popular ornamental fish in the world because of the beauty of its color and tail. There are still many betta fish maintenance who do not understand the importance of maintaining water conditions in the aquarium. Rapid technological developments can assist in the maintenance of betta fish using a microcontroller. This research designed a tool that can tell the user to replace cloudy aquarium water with new clean water without being monitored, then this tool can monitor the speed of incoming water and measure the amount of water that has been filled in the aquarium so it doesn't overflow. The tool uses two main sensors, namely a flow sensor and a turbidity sensor to check cloudy water conditions. Arduino Uno is a microcontroller that is used to control and process sensor input results and then display them using the LCD.

Abstract

The Sungai Rotan District Office is located at Jalan Harapan No. 02 Desa Sukarami Kec. Sungai Rattan Kab. Muara Enim. After conducting research at the Sungai Rotan District Office, it was found that problems regarding the processing of social assistance (bansos) data were still manual. Where employees of the Sungai Rotan District Office still store social assistance (bansos) data, still in the form of files or notes in agenda books and do not have a database where when searching for information, they have to open files or agenda books that are old and take quite a long time. In making this final assignment, the authors designed a social assistance program where research was carried out by observation or interviews. The programming used is Sublime text 3 using the mysql database. The tools in designing this system are Unified Modeling Language (UML), Use Cases, Class Diagrams, Activity Diagrams. So that it can replace a system that is less effective and efficient. It is also hoped that this will facilitate reporting to the sub-district office and report social assistance data.

Abstract

The use of technology in various fields in the current era is very helpful to be more efficient. One of them is in utilizing information systems to process data. This research aims to analyze transaction data that is useful for small and medium business managers. The data collection methods used in this research are interviews and observations. Website development using Visual Studio with Python programming language and MySQL database. The information system designed consists of several pages including dashboard, master data, data exploration and fp-growth analysis page. The results of this study are in the form of an Information System for analyzing the fp-growth algorithm using the flask library to facilitate users in obtaining information on the results of the analysis. The pages contained in the system are the login page, dashboard page, master data page, data exploration page and fp-growth page which contains analysis results.

Abstract

Based on the resulSSR of interviews with 14 active users of SIAMIK from XYZ, issues related to the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of SIAMIK were identified. The purpose of this research is to design the UI/UX of the SIAMIK website using the Lean UX method, aiming to achieve improved usability. This study will discuss the redesign of the SIAMIK UI/UX using the Lean UX method, which is user-centered and incorporates Lean and Agile principles to minimize resource waste and create a user-oriented product. The design evaluation phase will be conducted using three usability aspecSSR. The test resulSSR yielded an Effectiveness score of 97.0%, an Efficiency score of 97.0%, and a SUS (System Usability Scale) score of 83.50.

Abstract

In today's era, the florist industry has evolved, offering a variety of products such as flower bouquets, floral arrangements, flower boards, and single flowers, both real and artificial. However, the process of ordering or renting florist services is currently inefficient. Therefore, the objective of this research is to design a mobile-based florist rental application using the Design Thinking method, with a focus on achieving excellent usability. Testing was conducted, resulting in a final effectiveness score of 94.54% and an efficiency score of 95.84%, both falling into the category of good or excellent. Additionally, in the satisfaction aspect, a final score of 81.8 was achieved, categorizing it as good and acceptable.

Abstract

An expert system is a computer-based system that can match or mimic the ability of an expert to solve a problem. This system is designed to mimic the expertise of an expert to answer questions and solve problems in the fields of health or medicine, business, economics and so on. The important role of an expert can be replaced by a computer program whose working principle is to provide solutions as done by the expert. Certainty Factor is a method that defines a measure of certainty of facts or rules to describe an expert's belief in the problem at hand. This system is web-based, so that later this system can be accessed by the wider community online via the internet anywhere and anytime. In dealing with a problem, answers are often found that do not have full certainty.1 This research aims to find out what factors cause the appearance of stomach acid disease through the Certainty Factor method.

Abstract

This research intends to incorporate a blueprint design for a student violation information system that was developed in earlier research into a website-based application to record student violations at MAN 1 Padangsidimpuan. The needs analysis, system design, software development, testing, and implementation phases of the website application development process are all included in this study's waterfall methodology. The PHP programming language, the CodeIgniter framework, and the MySQL database were used to create this application. This study produced a web tool that MAN 1 Padangsidimpuan can utilize to more efficiently monitor student infractions. This program is anticipated to assist schools in managing student infractions, delivering transparency to both students and parents, and enhancing student conduct in the classroom.

Abstract

The utilization of information technology in a correctional facility (Lapas) is growing more crucial in the present digital age. This research aims to find out how much employee performance is influenced by technology at the Class IIA Bengkulu Correctional Institution. This research used quantitative methods with 35 people as samples. In collecting data, this research uses a questionnaire as an instrument to collect data collected from Google forms and data obtained using SPSS 25. The findings of the study indicate that 85.2%, whereas the remaining 14.8% is accounted for by other factors.

The house is a basic need that is met by every human being as a decent place to live, which is not only for a place to rest and shelter. The method used is clustering with the K-Means algorithm against 8 sand sample data. The results obtained from the data mining process use SPSS software that produces very good, good, and not good.
