The paper discusses about the model of production plan for automotive glasses using the ABC classification method to reduce the supply level. The step being taken in this research is to classify each glass size based on each class and calculate the weight of primary factors influencing the accumulation of supply in form of cash value, risk of under supply and accuracy of estimate. The model of proposed production planning is based on the ABC classification method, and the result could direct the planning officer to conduct the different handling of supply for all glass sizes based on their actual condition. Using this model, we obtain the realistic figure of supply level according to the needs and after being verified the figure can be reduced and the model cab be applied. In this paper, we also conduct case study in a main producer of automotive glass in Indonesia, which is PT. AMG Tbk., which hereinafter is called AMG. AMG is a primary producer for automotive glass in Indonesia with a market share accounting for more than 80%. Currently, almost all automotive industries implement Lean concept which among other is known as Kanban system where the incoming goods should exact, either in time and in the quantity. AMG as the supplier of automotive glasses should anticipate the risk of under supply because of the lack of estimate accuracy or reliability of the production process; so far the production planning officer has set the policy in the supply level of 1,3 month in the end of the current month for all glass sizes with average value of supply per month reaching 20 billions rupiah. The figure is too big because it is the retained cash flow, so that the level of supply for 1.3 month should be reviewed

Research related to the analysis of performance improvement (as used in a systematic process to identify performance, determine the desired performance targets, and to determine the priority of improvement at the sugar industry in Indonesia has not been done. This research aims to produce a conceptual model that can be used to analyze the sugar industry performance improvement. The model produced an integrated model to achieve the objectives of the analysis phase of performance improvement. The resulting model consists of five sub-models : 1) grouping, 2) performance measurement, 3) selection of the best performance, 4) analysis of best practices, and 5) determination of priorities for improvement.

The research builds an interactive game to help high school students in getting better understanding of Industrial Engineering.. The game is about the flour production company which process are procurement, production and sales, played by a team consisted of four students. After design and construction phases, the game was tried in Tarakanita High school. Using paired t-test for means, it is concluded that there is increasing grade in posttest value. It means after playing the game ,students have better understanding about aspect that are concerned in Industrial Engineering. This paper was discussing about ISO 22000. ISO 22000 is an international standard that defines the requirements of a food safety management system covering all organizations in the food chain from “farm to table”. The standard combines generally recognized key elements to ensure food safety along the food chain, including: interactive communication, system management, control of food safety hazards through pre-requisite programmes and HACCP plans, continual improvement and updating of the food safety management system. ISO 22000:2005 is also for companies seeking to integrate their quality management system, for example ISO 9001:2000 and British Retail Consortium (BRC).

Optimization problem is the complex and the most encountered problem in every aspect of life. There are many ways and approaches to be done to achieve optimization solution, either using linear, non-linear, discrete, or continuous function. However, for more complex problems, usually the existing approaches fail to solve the optimization problem. Genetics algorithm is the algorithm to solve optimization problem using natural selection approach. This algorithm is commonly used to solve complex optimization problem; in addition, the use of genetics algorithm is very flexible because it can be combined with other methods in its application

A decision support system is a computerized information system, designed to support business and organizational decision-making activities. Agroindustrial Supply Chain Management (Agro-SCM) is the management of the entire set of production, transformation/processing, distribution and marketing activities in agroindustry by which a consumer is supplied with a desired product. Milk Processing Cooperation has a strategic role to support the milk industry development in Indonesia. Lean Manufacturing is an approach to make the system efficient using the waste reduction. The approach is conducted by understanding the general picture of the company using the flow of information and materials in the production floor by creating value stream mapping. Lean Manufacturing is not only useful in the production floor; however it can be implemented in various levels of company organization. However the simulation is a totally different discipline which can support applications in other disciplines. Using the simulation, the implementation process of Lean Manufacturing can be conducted precisely and result in more alternative solutions in the production processes. Simulation has many types of tools, of which the most popular one is the Pro Model. The tool tries to illustrate the model from the actual production process by conducting several simulations until the optimum solution can be achieved for the Lean Manufacturing.

Bakrie Telecom realizes it is importance to know the customer needs that have not been fulfilled and the effectiveness of its CRM (Solusi Esia). The purpose of this study is to analyze the Importance-Performance Matrix and designing performance measurement systems and measure of Solusi Esia performance, then propose development program of Solusi Esia for the next year. Designing a CRM Scorecard start from cascading the vision, mission and strategy of the company to the vision, mission and strategy of Solusi Esia, then translate into fours CRM Scorecard perspective, setting strategic objectives, building a strategy map, set targets, and strategic initiatives and weighing of each strategic objective as lag indicators relative to a leading indicator in each perspective using pair wise comparisons. The score of Solusi Esia Performance is 3.46 considered good. Some development programs are call center phone charge change to be free of charge, establish training centers, network operations, voice recording the conversation between costumer and costumer service and periodically doing a market survey.

Quality of a performance has relationship with operational process of a product or whenever the company really implements or conducts a service and measurement towards the degree of level of satisfaction for the consumer. In this research the writer tries to model the optimization of the performance of general purpose manganese battery using polynomial regression meta-model approach with the surface responses of the methodology from some factors influencing the quality of manganese battery. There are some basic considerations that underlie the research; one of them is the company has not known exactly the most optimum performance condition from the general purpose battery type towards the influence of storage time and temperature. By implementing the polynomial regression meta-model with Response Surface Methodology (RSM), we can model a optimization solution to the combination of input variable of temperature and storage time at certain observation area by estimating the optimum output value (response value) so that we can obtain the most optimum battery performance in order to meet the consumers demand. There are matters to be considered in implementing RSM: level of confidence (a), meta-model fitting area, step measurement on the steepest ascent and central composite design. The result of the research on general purpose manganese battery shows the mathematical model of the optimization of performance of general purpose manganese battery using appropriate polynomial regression meta-model of Y (T, S) = 62.385 + 1.282 T + 0.00029 TS - 0.201 T2 - 0.0052 S2 using variable combination to the influence of temperature 32.347°C, where the storage time of 63.306 days obtain the optimum battery performance of 103.663 minutes, using temperature performance index (PI) of 32°C (rounded) and the storage time of 90 days obtain the performance index-1 (PI-1) of 127.53% and PI-2 of 112.82%. Where the initial condition of temperature Performance Index of 20°C with the storage time of 90 days obtain PI-1 of 124.34% and PI-2of 109.81%. This shows that there is improvement and increase of battery performance of 3% for PI-1 and PI-2.

Target of research with Data method of Envelopment Analysis ( DEA) is to determine efficiency storey; level of expense of and factor - factor having an effect on to efficiency of expense of in office of branch of Perum Pawnship office of region of Bangkalan. Result of this research is got by branch of Perum inefficient Pawnship office is Perum Pawnship office of Bangkalan with efficiency storey; level equal to 0,144236, Perum pawnship office of Kamal in januari 2009 with Storey; Level Efficiency equal to 0,3650507,pada months of Februari 2009 equal to 0,4614362 and in March 2009 equal to 0,2610103 until March 2009 and Perum pawnship office of Foreland Earth with its Efficiency storey; level is equal to 0,1390164 pada March months 2009.
