Abstract

Today PT. Jakarta Pertamina Unit Produksi Pelumas Jakarta (UPPJ) has some problems with inbound supply of raw materials. Deficiency dock may pose risks to the process of loading raw material base oil, resulting in delay in supply of raw materials. This delay could have an impact on other processes, such as delays to produce, and iddle of existing production facilities at the plant; it would be very detrimental to the company if the obstacle is often the case. Supply chain management is always influenced by three factors, namely how to reduce costs, reduce time and improve quality. If at first study on supply chain management is only classified in three categories, namely the field of operations, design and strategy, then this can be added to the four categories, namely the field of risk, which is commonly referred to as supply chain risk Management (SCRM). Based on the problems that occurred the first stage done is to identify risks in each process and then determine the influence of the effect in terms of cost, time and quality of the results of the determination of the influence. the next step is to determine the weights based on the severity of the bottleneck (severity), the possibility of resistance (Occurrence) and the possible causes of the barriers can be detected (Detection). The last step is to calculate the Risk priority Number (RPN) is obtained from the product of severity, Occurrence and Detection then obtained the highest priority for 144 the factors that most influence the leak rate of the production process.

Abstract

PT . Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia is a company engaged in the automotive industry. The longest cycle time can also be caused by many things, from the unequal division of labor so that the necessary analysis for the balance of the assembly line. In writing this Final analysis used the balance line is Ant Colony Algorithm, Rank Positional Weight, and Genetic Algorithms. All three methods of analysis will produce an analysis for the improvement of the assembly lines now run so as to achieve the targets that have been defined. With a high efficiency line of the balance delay of the assembly line will also be getting smaller and makes no waiting time from the operator. All the time can be optimally used to produce the product. Of the three analysis the analysis with the highest efficiency, smallest delay balance and smoothness index of the smaller to be selected as the best proposal. Analysis of this problem is best for analysis using ant colony algorithm with line efficiency 93.2%, 6.8% delay Balance and Smoothness index 45.77

Abstract

Production target of Department Hand Inserts PT Sharp Indonesia which was often not achieved, making the company intended to know the cause of the problem. Time study was needed to set production targets against operator’s ability. Time study established by the holding company of Japan using ready work factors (RWF) method. To determine conformity RWF method, a comparison with stopwatch time study was conducted. There were differences in the value of standard time with both methods. The differences due to value of rating operator performance and allowance. The value in RWF method was smaller than the findings in the field. After a change of both value the difference between the two methods became smaller. After that with standard time from RWF method was calculated operator's ability to produce. The results indicated that the ability of the operator under the production target, so improvement was needed.

Abstract

CV. SG Bandung is a convection company that produces moslem clothes. High competitive in market push company to be more effective and efficient.Company must be able to increase productivity on the production floor and reduce cost. From this observation, CV. SG doesn’t have a good layout. It seen from the departments and facilities in finishing department placement that have not been arranged properly. One of the parameters of a good layout is minimize material handling cost which can be seen from the movement moment, which is calculated by multiplying the distance and frequency of material movement between facilities. Before preparing the new layout, it needs the initial layout, from-to chart, move-cost chart which becomes input for CRAFT algorithm in the WinQSB software.Through this research, can be obtained the plant facility layout design is better, it can be seen from the movement moment which can be reduced in the finishing department proposed layout.

Abstract

Lean Manufacturing is an approach to increase the efficiency of a system through a continuous improvement to minimize waste. This approach begins by creating a value stream mapping, an overview of an organization through information/activity flow and material flow that takes place at the shop floor. These activities are then classified as value-added activities and non-value added activities. The complication arises when production target cannot be met, delaying product delivery to consumers. This delay, mainly driven by lengthy production time, is typically caused by waste that occurs at the shop floor. By identifying the source of those wastes, production time can be reduced to fulfill production target. This paper utilized the lean manufacturing approach as an initial step to perform standard time calculation for all activities that eventually were identified as Value-added or Non Value-added Current State Activity. Further, to obtain the complete picture of the shop floor, value stream mapping were performed and Process Cycle Efficiency was calculated. Waste, defined as transportation time required for semi-finished products from one process to the next and any unnecessary motions within some process, were then identified. To minimize transportation time, transfer batch was utilized. While to decrease operation time, motion improvements were done through Right Hand – Left Hand Process Chart. Upon improvement, manufacturing lead time decreased by 4.7% and Process Cycle Efficiency increased by 2%.

Abstract

An Examination is a way to represent one’s ability into a certain grade. That’s why, it is confidential. Only certain people have the autorization in accessing the document. The document needs to be protected whether it is saved in hardisk, external hardisk, usb flashdisk or ‘sent item’ in email. The protection can be done by transforming the document into a confidential document so it can’t be seen by others. The transformation is called encription. Otherwise, it is called decription for transforming document into inconfidential document. The AxCrypt Tool can be used to protect exam document by encripting and open the document by decripting using password and key-file. AxCrypt is usefull for protecting the exam document that is saved in public computer, sending the classified exam document using email interface, and making only certain coordinator and lecturer who is responsible for the document, can open dan read the document.

Abstract

This research was intended to produce an order (job) scheduling model at Carton Packaging Industries (CPI) that is useful for giving information about the time delivery to customers. The proposed model is quite complicated because of the characteristic of Make to Order (MTO) varies production process greatly between each order. The job’s schedule for CPI is prepared for production process that consists of 5 stages where in each stage uses different type of machinery. Not all jobs can be processed by all machines at a given production stage. Every job flow through 5 stage in the same order, but not all stages have to visited by all jobs. Stages may be skipped for a particular job. This condition makes CPI is classified as Hybrid and flexible flowshop for machine eligibility (HFFME). HFFME is complicated and is difficult to calculate by using conventional heuristic model. This research used genetic algorithm for solving the complex problem of HFFME and the resulting model called the Genetic Algorithm for hybrid and flexible flowshop with machine eligibility (GA-HFFME). This model is developed to minimized makespan, the objective of scheduling. The experiment was conducted towards 11 orders and it was found that the GA-HFFME is effective to solve that problem.
