Abstract

The development of data and information needs in the era of Society 5.0 is very crucial because it determines many business decisions. Data in the past becomes valuable when it becomes a historical fact that can illustrate findings to assess future business directions. Based at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang, the Data Science Club has a total membership of more than 200 people spread across East Java. The problem that often occurs in the Data Science community is Machine Learning algorithms' low literacy, especially for new members. Coupled with the development of the Machine Learning algorithm that is so fast and massive. For that, we need activities that can directly impact the Data Science community by presenting the latest algorithms and programming techniques. This service activity proposes a Machine Learning workshop for Data Science by teaching various computational algorithms to the Indonesian Data Science community, which has spread in Indonesia and the East Java region. This activity presents 12 workshop materials for participants who will be delivered by speakers who have expertise in their fields, both from the University of Muhammadiyah Malang, and present national speakers in collaboration with the Data Science Club of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang.

Abstract

The tempe industry activity in Sanan Village, Purwantoro Village, Blimbing District, Malang City creates an unpleasant odor that disturbs residents around the industry. Generally, tempe producers dispose of liquid waste from tempe production activities directly into rivers. Therefore, this activity aimed to make the community more aware of the correct management of tempe liquid waste. Making organic fertilizer from tempe liquid waste (TLW) for hydroponic technology was the primary goal of this program. Organic waste is fermented with EM4 in TLW media. Other than that, our program supports implementing urban farming in the city center to produce individual food. It is hoped that, in the future, all communities in Sanan Village can produce independent food by utilizing organic fertilizer from fermented tempeh liquid waste. The result of this program was the increase in people’s knowledge about the manufacture and setting of organic and hydroponic fertilizers. Second, the residents of Sanan Village have applied fertilizer for their hydroponics. Assistance is carried out periodically to Youth Organizations in Sanan Village, Purwantoro Village, Blimbing District, Malang City on September 9 - 20 December 2020.

Abstract

Global warming that occurs, one of which can not be separated from the garbage that is thrown away by people carelessly and they are not fully aware of the dangers of the waste. Even though the waste has been disposed of in its place, then transported by the cleaning staff to the Final Disposal Site and without any follow-up handling it will also be dangerous. Examples of organic waste that mixes with the environment such as in the soil, then decomposes will cause methane gas which can thicken the layer of the greenhouse effect. Then what about non-organic waste, such as plastic, rubber, yarn, to metal, which also have a very polluting impact on the environment. Therefore, it is necessary to follow up the handling of waste, especially household waste (SRT) in the community. The service team this time used a bottom up system to solve partner problems. In addition to using the system, the canvas business is also used as a solution to solve this problem. The results of the service show that with the implementation of the health protocol, the economic activities carried out by partners gradually improve and can run with strict and regular protocols.

Abstract

The availability of teaching materials that are in accordance with the conditions of students and the learning environment becomes a necessity. These needs can only be met by those who come in direct contact with students in the learning process. Fulfilling the need for teaching materials will help students master learning material. One of the practical teaching materials is a module. Modules become part of the complete set of learning tools. So the teacher also has an obligation to develop teaching materials in the form of modules. The training on the preparation of thematic modules consists of 2 stages, namely the delivery of methods and their systematic preparation and the preparation of draft modules. Through the implementation of training on the preparation of thematic modules, it is able to encourage and improve the skills of teachers to make teaching materials according to the needs of their students. The results of making modules can be used alone and can also be publicized for sale and purchase. It can increase the diversity of teaching materials for the completeness of learning resources.

Abstract

Menarche (menar) is the first menstruation from the uterus which is the beginning of menstrual function and a sign of puberty in adolescent girls. In the last decade, there is a tendency for the menarche age to shift towards a younger age. (Williams and Wilkins, 2012).. Menars occurs in women of reproductive age between the ages of 10-16 years. What affects a woman to experience menarche is the maturity of the female reproductive organs. Nutritional status and stressors. Many problems are experienced by adolescents who experience menarche due to lack of knowledge about menarche, fear due to wrong information in dealing with menarche, and minimal information from teachers and parents (Andrijono, 2012). Researcher Septiana, 2016 in his research on the Relationship of Adolescent Knowledge with Nutritional Status, Physical Activity, and Age of Menarche. has recommended to provide information about menarche to the public, especially adolescents and to prepare mothers if their children experience early menarche. Research in Rome in 2003-2005 on knowledge and providing information about menarche in adolescents, the results obtained from 390 respondents 54.6% of them lack knowledge about menarche in adolescents (Pavia et al., 2006).
