Abstract

The purpose of this study to analyze the factors affecting the intentions of alumni who are willing to assist their university, whether financial or non-financial. The intentions of alumni are consequences of satisfaction and trust, where satisfaction and trust are the mediating variables of academic experience, current income, relation and agency image. The study was conducted through a survey method that included 250 respondents living in Jakarta, with middle and upper class economic levels. The sampling technique used is proportionate stratified random sampling. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used to analyze the data. The finding from this study is the antecedent factors of satisfaction and trust including academic experience, income, relationships, and institution image that are proven to be positive and significantly influential in satisfaction and trust, partially or simultaneously. The behavior intention as a consequence of trust and satisfaction are found to be positive and significant although only moderate. Based on the findings, Indonesian higher education has to improve student’s satisfaction and trust through improvement of academic experience, relationship and institution image because the alumni will measure their satisfaction based on their current income. Therefore, for further research it is advisable to explore motivational factor, family education values and cultural factors as antecedents of behavior intention.

Abstract

This research is concerning the effect of workplace environment, job satisfaction, and  job performance on employee turnover, and the background is to get the convenience of employees condition, the satisfaction of job results, maximum performance, and keep and reduce in and out employees. The purpose of this research is to see how far the influence of workplace environment, job satisfaction, and job performance on employee turnover. Planning of this research uses primary data that is got by handing over questioners to 200 employees in Telecommunication company in East Jakarta. The analysis method which is used is double regresi.  Results of  this  research give conclusion that there's a positive and significant influence of workplace environment, job satisfaction, and job performance on employee turnover.

Abstract

The objectives of this research was to find out the effect of human resources practices (reward, training, and person-job fit) on job satisfaction and employee commitment, and the effect of job satisfaction on employee commitment. The methodology of this research was using questionnaire survey approach to collect data for testing the research  hypothesis and regression technique for data analysis. Census was used to analyze the hypothesis. The population were 200 respondents and divided to 187 PNS and 13 PHL of Polda Bengkulu. Finding and contribution in this research was HR practices have a significant effect to employee commitment, human resources practices have a significant effect to job satisfaction, and job satisfaction to employee commitment also have a significant effect. Research limitation or implication in this research was the result can not be applied to other region Polda, or other public organization. This research suggest further investigation is needed to equivalent the result and more extent area of research.

Abstract

The background of this study is to analyze the effect of transformational leadership and organizational justice on employee performance through employee reaction. The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of transformational leadership and organizational justice to employee performance through employee reaction in Trisakti Dental Hospital. The design of this research is hypothesis testing using primary data obtained by distributing 200 questionnaires to employees of Trisakti Dental Hospital. The analytical method used is Structure Equation Model (SEM). The result of this research concludes that there is no significant and negative relation between transformational leadership and employee reaction. There is a significant and positive relation between organizational justice and employee reactions. There is a significant and positive relation between employee reactions and employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to analyze the influences of social servicescape and physical servicescape on hotel image and revisiting intention in five star hotels. The design of this study is a hypothesis testing. The respondents were selected using purposive sampling method in which the questionnaires are used to collect data from 200 respondents who have visited some five star hotels in DKI Jakarta at least 1 time in a year. The proposed model was tested by using Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results of this research showed that there is a significant and positive influence of social servicescape and physical servicescape on hotel image; a significant and positive influence of hotel image, social servicescape and physical servicescape on revisiting intention. This study only used some five star hotels in DKI Jakarta and 200 respondents that limit the generalizability of the results. Future researchers should accomodate larger number of respondents and used some other Five Star Hotels in other cities. The findings of this research can help hotel managers to implement better strategies in order to increase the level of customers’ revisiting intention.

Abstract

This research analyzed the effects of service quality and customer experience to customer satisfaction and its impact on purchase intention of costumer internet services in West Jakarta. This research used hypothesis testing as a research design. The primary data were obtained through questionnaire distributed to 180 respondents who should be users of internet services from Telkomsel, Telkomsel Grapari West Jakarta. Data was anlyzed by Structural Equation Method (SEM). The results showed there were positives service qualities and customer experience effects to customer satisfaction. There were positive customer satisfaction effects to purchase intention. There were positive effects of service quality and customer experience to purchase intention. Implications for managers are to increase purchase intention through fulfilled customer satisfaction led from good service quality and customer experience. For reasearch, it can be done in other service providers and by adding extra variables, such as coporate image and brand trust.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of store environment on impulse buying behavior with emotional states as intervening variable using Mehrabian-Russell’s model. The store environment variables in this study include time availability, atmospheric factors, presence of others, and perceived crowdness. Using Mehrabian-Russell’s model, it is hypothesized that emotional state mediates the effects of store environment variables on impulse buying behavior as a dependent variable. The object in this study is Matahari Department Store in Yogyakarta. Sample of 166 respondents were selected by using purposive sampling method. Data were collected by using field survey technique. Normality, validity and reliability tests were conducted to test the quality of research instruments. The data analysis was conducted by using multiple linear regressions to test the research hypothesis. Results showed that atmospheric factors. as predicted, positively affect the emotional states. While perceived crowdness, consistent to the hypothesis, negatively affect the emotional states. The emotional states also positively affects the impulse buying behavior. The hypothesis of time availability and presence of others were not supported in this research. The findings of this research indicate that creating a proper atmospheric factors and creating a convenience store lay out to avoid crowdness are essential to stimulate impulse buying behavior.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of environmental consciousness towards a green purchasing decision. In this research environmental consciousness covers of environment knowledge, environment attitude and green behavior which is recycled behavior. The sample in this research that is consumers of the green product. The samples are 113 respondents chosen by using purposive sampling. Multiple regression analyzers were applied in analyzing the data. The analysis results showed that environment knowledge and attitude of customer have significant influence. Management needs to improve the initiation of green programs with market education to increase the environment knowledge and attitude of customers.Keywords: Environmental Consciousness; Green Product; Environment Knowledge; Environment Attitude; Recycle Behavior and Green Purchasing Decision.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of financial ratios and macroeconomic variables toward SME’s credit on banking sector in Indonesia. In this research, financial ratio variables are the capital adequacy ratio, non performing loan, operating expenses per operating income, third party fund, return on assets, and business credit program. Macroeconomic variables is inflation, the gross domestic product, interest rate of working capital, and interest rate of investment. The research’s samples are banks in Indonesia that are divided based on their types in the period of 2004-2014. The method uses panel data multiple linear regression with random effect model. The results of this study are that CAR, NPL, and BOPO has a significantly negative effect on SME’s credit; DPK, ROA, KUR, inflation, and GDP have a significantly positive effect on SME’s credit. Interest rate of working capital has a significantly negative effect on SME’s credit and interest rate investments do not have a significantly effect on SME’s credit.

Abstract

This paper analyzed the behavior management in state owned bank in Indonesia. The behavior management, which is divided into four hypothesis which are, bad management, bad luck, skimping and moral hazard. This hypothesis is tested using four variables, which are efficiency, non-performing loan and capital adequacy ratio. Meanwhile, the Granger Causality test is using to find out which behavior management is happened. This concept then applied in ordinary least square model. As modification, this research use VAR (Vector Autoregressive). Since VAR also using granger causality basic concept. The result show that bad luck hypothesis happened. This is similar with the condition in India, Nordic, Central and Eastern Europe.
