Abstract

A research on the effect of cuttings material and concentration of shallot  filtrate (Allium cepa fa. ascalonicum, L.) is to determine the growth of rose apple seedlings (Syzygium aqueum, Burm.) Citra variety. The Research was conducted from August until October 2018 in Mranti Pereng Village, Mranti Village, Purworejo District, Purworejo Regency. The altitude is 100 meters.  Soil type latosol and soil pH 5.5. The research method used factorial experiment (3 x 4) arranged in a randomize complete block design with three blocks. The first factor is kinds of cuttings material, top cuttings, middle branch cuttings, and base branch cuttings. The second factor is concentration of shallot filtrate, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. The results showed that the middle branch cuttings gives the highest yield in root length and root dry weight. The concentration of shallot filtrate gives regular results on observational parameters. The middle branch cuttings with concentration of shallot filtrate 76.49% gave the highest weigth yield on fresh shoots weight. The middle branch cuttings with concentration of shallot filtrate 87.30% giving the highest weigth yield on shoots dry weight. The middle branch cuttings with concentration of shallot filtrate 66.03% gives the highest weigth yield on roots dry weight

Abstract

The research on the effect of mulch kinds and the effect of chiken manure doses to the lettuce yield (Lactuca sativa, L.) var New Grand Rapid. Experiment conducted in August until October 2016. Location of experiment in Dukuhan, Sumber, Dukuh, Magelang. The latitude is 663 m. The soils regosol with pH 6,3. The research method used factorial experiment (3x4) arranged in a randomized complete block design with three blocks. The first factor is mulch kind, transparant plastic mulch, black silver plastic mulch, black plastic mulch. The second factor is chicken manure dose, 5 ton/ha, 10 ton/ha, 15 ton/ha, and 20 ton/ha.The result of the research shows that the use of black plastic mulch and black silver plastic mulch increase the height of plant, number of leaves, weight of fresh leaves and weight of dry leaves. Increasing chicken manure dose can increase height of plant, number of leaves, weight of fresh leaves, weight of dry leaves, weight of fresh root, and weight of dry root. The combination of mulch kind and chicken manure dose responded the same in all observation parameter.

Abstract

Ganitri (Elaeocarpus ganitrus) is one of the annual plants that grows in Indonesia, especially in Java. Ganitri seeds have not been fully utilized. Indonesian ganitri seeds are not widely known for their chemical content, so they are only used as jewelry and trade. This research was conducted to determine the potential of ganitri seeds as biodiesel feedstock. The research method used is the method of sochletation and maceration. The results showed that the effective content of ganitri seed oil was obtained by the sochletation method. The level of FFA (Free Fatty Acid) of ganitri seed oil is 2.8%, so preliminary action needs to be taken, namely the esterification process in the process of making biodiesel. From the results of the research conducted, ganitri seed oil can be used as raw material for making biodiesel but is less effective for mass production.

Abstract

Palm oil (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) is an important plantation crop in Indonesia as a producer of vegetable oil and several other derivative products. Palm oil (CPO) production is 47.18 million tons and PKO 4.6 million tons (GAPKI 2019). One of the main obstacles in palm oil cultivation is the presence of biotic stress in the form of Stem Root Disease (BPB) caused by the fungus Ganoderma boninense Pat. is the most harmful disease. In several palm oil plantations in Indonesia, this disease has caused the death of up to 80% or more of the entire population of oil palm plantations.Several factors that influence the development of BPB disease in the field are plant age, soil type, nutrient status and replanting technique. The characteristics of Ganoderma include soil borne, necrotropic and have various means of self-defense, therefore, BPB disease control must be carried out in an integrated manner between the use of resistant palm oil plants, the use of superior biological control agents and technical culture measures.One of the prevention alternatives that can be done is by utilizing soil microbes that can be in symbiosis with palm oil roots, such as Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF). Mycorrhizae play a role in improving soil health, are environmentally friendly and able to improve soil nutrient status and agricultural products. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the infectivity of mycorrhizae on healthy plants and plants that are attacked by Ganoderma.Keyword : Infectivity, Oil palm, Ganoderma

Abstract

Empowerment research of farmer group through the auction market as an embodies solution of farmer dynamism welfare. The purpose research was to describe the characteristics farmers relationship through farmer group as empowerment approach, knowing the form empowerment farmer groups through the auction market, and the dynamism of farmers welfare. This research was conducted in the Bugel Village and Garongan was farmers group of Gisik Pranaji and Bangun Karyo. The research method was descriptive qualitative case study. The primary data collection was done by purposive sampling based on specific criteria, carried out using questionnaires, interview, direct observation group activities, and secondary data collection. The result of study said, relations characteristics farmer group empowerment approach through which their direct ownership farmer group empowerment approach and the growth of community building on every farmer who has a collectivity and social care. Proceeds from sale market activity which is the type Helix Rp.57.816.000,- and type Lado Rp.11.325.187,-. Profit received farmer groups reached Rp.1.081.500 plus the cost of energy service income, cash costs struggle and farmer groups Conslucions of research were the existence of integration between management and members of the group together with the market traders to determine base price of red chilli, with the support functions of the partnership market. The achievement dynamism of the farmer welfare, including the group’s goals, a sense of the relationship with the members of the others, the interaction of farmers who have a positive influence on group (living in harmony and peace), and realize the effectiveness of group toward partnerships benefit mutually farmers.

Abstract

Research on the Effect of Various Manure and concentration of Pseudomonas fluorescens on Crop Onion (Allium cepa fa. ascalonicum L.) Varietiy Crok Yellow, was conducted from November 2015 until January 2016 Kaliboto Village, District Bener, Purworejo. The Altitude is 190 m, the soil regosol, the average temperature - daily average 23.15 - 27.2 ° C. Rainfall of 2000 - 3000 mm / year. The method used was factorial (4x3) are arranged in a complete randomized block design with three replications. The first factor is kind of manure without manure, cow manure, chicken manure and manure goat. The second factor is the concentration of Pseudomonas fuorescens 0, 10, 20 ml/l. The analysis showed a wide manure can improve of plant height, leaf number, number of cloves per hill, cloves fresh weight per hill, weight savings per hill of dried cloves and cloves per hill diameter onion. The higher the concentration of Pseudomonas fluorescens to 20 ml/l increased plant height, leaf number, number of cloves per hill, cloves fresh weight per hill and tuber dry weight savings per hill of red onion. Different kinds of manure at different concentrations of Pseudomonas fluorescens give the same results on all parameters  observed.

Abstract

The research was to study of rabbit urine dose and interval given on the yield of strawberry plant. This research was conducted at Sumber village district of Dukun regency of Magelang and Kalikuto village district of Grabag regency of Magelang, since June to October 2016. Two treatment factors were arranged in Randomized Complete Block Design with tree replications. The first factor was rabbit urine dose of four levels i.e. 150, 300, 450, 600 ml/plant. The two factor was   interval given of tree leves i.e. every 5,  10, 15 days. The result of this research in district of Dukun and district of Grabag showed that rabit urine dose 300 ml/plant give hight yield on number of bunches of flower, number of flower, number of fruit, weight of fruit, weight per fruit per plant. Interval given of rabit urine 10 days give hight yield on number of fruit and weight of fruit per plant. Urine dose of rabbit and interval given on the yield of is not interaction on all observation parameters
