Abstract

Use of Animation in Character Education and Students' Mathematics Understanding. This research development aims to make mathematics learning more innovative by using animation media. This research is for 4th grade elementary school level on circle material. Besides focusing on student learning, this research also focuses on character education. The method used in this research is classroom action research. The stages of development in this study began with planning, then action, observation, then reflection. Based on the trial results, there are revisions that must be corrected. The results of the study showed that the developed media had met the eligibility criteria and had met the requirements for use as learning media. The conclusions of the results of this study were seen based on the expert trial questionnaire.

Abstract

This study aimed at developing STAD type-based cooperative learning materials to improve students’ collaborative thinking skill. The study used Research and Development (R&D) method by Thiagarajan which consists of four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminative. The developed materials included RPP, LKPD and THPD. The validity result of the pre test and post test showed that the materials fulfilled valid criteria. The validity test was done using SPSS 14 program and the results showed that Sig. (2- tailed) value was lower than (≤) 0,05 and thus considered valid, and the Alpha Croncbrach was higher than (≥) 0,60 which made it considered reliable. The validity test for the results of practicality observation test showed a result of very practical and the effectivity results were gained from one-sample t-test that was by comparing the pre-test and post-test scores, which showed that the students and teacher’s activity in the limited classroom fulfilled the criteria practical and effective. The STAD type cooperative learning materials developed in this study had significant effects on students’ collaborative thinking skill in solving addition and subtraction problems. Based on the table of descriptive results for paired sample t-test, it can be concluded that there was differences on the average score of 85 > 71,67 and Sig.(2-tailed) = 0,000 which means Sig. < 0,05. Based on those results, it can be concluded that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted which means that the learning results between pre-test and post-test were different.

Abstract

Reading is an important activity in Literacy program for Early Childhood Education. This activity is connected with reading and book where they really don’t understand how to use it at the first time. It is started when a child has a new story book in his hands or when his parents read a book for him. The interaction between children and parents is such a wonderful time for both of them. It also has an important component in building positive character with playfulness activity where language is used for having fun. Literasi Irama is one of Literacy Program of TK Anak Cerdas Ungaran where it is a school – parents Co Parenting Program to build positive character for children. The parents may read the story book and retell to their children the moral character value from the story and the character within it.

Abstract

Banten Javanese language is one of the features of the word from the Sultanate of Banten, which is still in use by the community today. After the fall of Banten's Sultanate, this style of language is always inherent in some towns, and its usage almost spread in several major cities in Banten. Besides being used to show the existence of regional and Javanese language communication tools, Banten contains a sublime moral value that can reflect the region and can deliver character-building owned by the next generation, in today's flow of modernization and globalization. In the current digitalization era, information and communication technology has entered all sectors of life. When it found in many dictionary digital forms, use can be via a smartphone or through a computer. The purpose of preserving the Banten regional language, namely Java Banten, is to maintain its existence. One of the maintenance efforts that can do is by using a digital dictionary filter contained in the instagram application.

Abstract

A mid of the Covid-19 pandemic, our education should be continued. Therefore, the online learning was being implemented at home so the parents would have a role to make the learning continues. This article aims to analyze parents role in elementary students learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data obtained from a questionnaire consisting of 17 statements. The population in this study were parents of elementary school students who were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic as many as 60 respondents. The results of this study are the percentage of parents role in elementary school student learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The conclusion of this article is that parents play a good role in elementary school student learning in the Covid-19 pandemic is as teachers, facilitators, motivators, and influencer. This article can be used as literature and other researchers development material.

Abstract

Enhanced Web Course m erupakan Web-logs that me benefit k an internet in presenting the material of learning. The use of instructional media especially in learning basic physics is still very low , this is based on questionnaire data and interviews with Physics subject teachers at SMK N 5 SELAW KONAWE . The use of Web Enhanced Course learning media enables interactive communication between teachers and students , both individually and in groups, and can be an alternative learning online. The purpose of this paper is to utilize the Web Enhanced Course as a learning medium that makes it easy to learn about Basic Physics. Web Enhanced Course learning media that have been made, validated by instructional design experts, instructional media experts, and website designer experts and obtained a value with the criteria of "very good" after a limited trial . Based on this assessment , it can be concluded that the Enhanced Course Web learning media is suitable for use in learning Basic Physics

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low debate ability of students in the Indonesian debate training at Al-Kausar Senior High School. The aim of this research is to find out the low debate ability of students in the Indonesian debate training at Al-Kausar Senior High School. This research created the smart board named Papan Serba Tahu as one of the development learning media for debate training while learning from home. The method used in this research is ADDIE model developed by Dick and Carry (1996). The ADDIE model is an abreviation of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluations. The result of this research indicate learning media that Paserta can improve students critical thinking, speaking skills, understanding about debate concept, compose arguments well, and deliver a structure of debate speech according to the task of speaker. This can be evidenced by the increase in the average value of students debate training, from an average value of 72 before used Paserta to 80 after used Paserta. This value is taken by reffering to LDBI assesment guidelines
