This study reveals that law enforcement against corruption crimes carried out by the Anti-Corruption Committee (Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi, here in after KPK) has not been fully effective to reduce the crimes. However, the KPK remains important to exist. Never theless, its roles need to be reduced in order to create balance of authorities between the KPK and other institutions that are involved indealing with corruption eradication. Education closely relates to globalization, because it is impossible to ignore globalization process through which a global society will be formed. Parallel with this, Indonesia should reform its education process, focusing on the establishment of an education system which is comprehensive and flexible, in order for its graduates to function effectively in a democratic global social life. Therefore, the education should be designed as such that students can develop their natural potencies and creativities in a freedom, equal and responsible atmosphere. The education should also produces graduates who can conceive their society, together with various factors causing their successes or failures. When globalization has touched upon education, cultures, and economy, this means that there has been an expansion of western ideology and a brain washing of people in developing countries, such as Indonesia. Ironically, the government has legitimized the presence of foreign higher education in Indonesia. This creates a dilemma, because on one hand, this would make the quality of education of Indonesia more competitive and, on the other hand, could be used as a means of indoctrination of neo-liberalism. This article tries to discuss the fight against western ideology, developing in education, especially that related to the current issues.

Human rights are universal, granted by God to all humans since their birth, and have been recognized by nations as written in the United Nations Charter and in other multilateral treaties. However, everystate has its own characteristics and values inrelation to social structures, religions, and geographical condition. Therefore, it is difficult to make the point of view of states about human rights similar, in the sense that human rights problem in a state is impossible to resolve in the same way as that in others. If the problems of human rights are resolved without considering social structures, the society will be detached from their own social structures, and will be difficult to develop values living in the society.
