Abstract

Separatism denotes one of the historical phenomenon that emerges since human society know the form of the building of political lifecommunity either in the form of the village federation association, the kingdom or modern state from past time up to now. The phenomena of separatism truthfully there was in the era of old kingdom, for instances, the elaslccal Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greek, and Roman Empire, and the kingdom of Indonesia, for examples, Sriwijaya Majapahit, Demak, Pajang and Mataram. Ideology and the spirit of nationalism and the globalization participate In movitating the separatism in Indonesia either positively ornegatively. The phenomenon of separatism mentionedabove needs to be solved by approaching and political policies and the strongest great de sires from Indonesian people themselves to resist the unity of nation and state of Indonesia.

Abstract

A long Asia continent, from Turk, Indonesia, up to Papua  New Guinea, believed as the fertile land for the seeds of separatism. The keywords for such problem is actually  the injustice. Means, injustice between majority and minority, also, injustice between big countries and the small ones. The solution  needed is, democratization in the mean of the ability of the government to accommodate the needs of  all people. When  the attention of the government is only addressed for particular group of people, the spirit for separatisms is absolutely cannot be extinguished.

Abstract

It is generally understood that to unite thousands of Indonesian island to be an integrated state underthesole control of the centralistic government in Jakarta is far from easy. Therefore, the solution is, the government should empower the unifying factors through three ways, first, the central government must provide enough telecommunication as well as transportation systems. Secondly, the government must enhance the level of readiness of thepeople to respect other people regardless with any reasons for discrimination. Thirdly, the government must make any efforts to gain economical justice among people.

Abstract

When freedom of speech arises in this reformation era, the voice for creation the more just and democratic governance appears every time. Integralism state, then, believed as not  relevant anymore to accommodate the plurality of society, and conversely, federalism which is becoming more popular today, seems to be more appropriate for Indonesia. However, before going further to federalism, local autonomy is regarded as a promising instrument to set up national integrity.

Abstract

The idea for the establishment of OPM (the organization for the independence of Papua) came into exist in 1963. The establishment was mostly caused by bad condition of social life in the area. Meanwhile, this organization tends to be liberation front, or even as a rebellion movement. According to the International law, this kind of separatism is regarded as internal business of Indonesia. More over, OPM hasn't got recognition as belligerent for international society. Therefore, the bigger support is on the hand of Indonesian government, rather than on the hand of OPM. Thus, the solution is merely depend on the willingness of Indonesian government to solve the conflict internally.

Abstract

The incompatibility of Indonesian legal system with the effort for creation of Justice and economic welfare, closely links to the conceptual ground and integralistic state framework which strongly leads to give more power for the state, and not for the society. The solution needed is to push the law to further move from repressive law system toward autonomous law or responsive law.

Abstract

The condition of our society today seems to be overwheimed by sociai turbuience, the randomness and irreguia*, the absurd political discourse, radical fluctuation of economic sectors, never ending social violence, and uncertainty of cultural values. The suggestions made by the writer are: first, the symbols shift, means the politic of information system must aimed to create productivity and creativity for further society development. Second, normative reformation, means, transparency of court system, legal certainty, and excludes the legal procedure away from political interest.

Abstract

This article traces the problem of disintegration that emerges in Indonesia re cently. How  to solve this problem from Islamic political viewpoint? Abstract

An important step to attain goodprocess for nationai integrity is to demolish some negative aspects of cultural behavior. The autonomy must be put in the hand of local government, psychological gap among public servants, 'distance' between the leaders and ordinary people must be minimized. Beside debirocratization is a compulsory, legal certainty must be enforced. Indeed, the equal chance to get the rightsmust be available foreveryone.
