This study has been approved by the research ethics committee of Yogyakarta ‘Aisyiyah University. This cross-sectional research was performed at the Community Health Centre of Mlati II Sleman Yogyakarta. Seventy-four pregnant mothers who owned MCH book were derived from incidental sampling technic. The retrieval of primary data used questioner method. The result of chi-square test states that pregnant mothers with higher reading interest will be utilizing the MCH book four times more effective compared to those with lower interest in reading (p-value: 0,005 and 95% CI: 1,488-10,902).

Abstract

Cervical cancer is a gynecologic cancer incidence and cause of death have the second highest in the world, estimated at 80% of cervical cancer cases occur in developing countries. Cervical cancer in its early stages rarely cause complaints and when women consult a medical 70% are at an advanced stage that it is difficult to cure. Cervical cancer is caused due to infection of human papillomavirus (HPV) and exacerbated by several risk factors including age and parity. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of age and parity with the incidence of pre-cancerous lesions of the cervix. This is a case- control study comparing cases and controls in each variable. The sample used in this study using a ratio of 1: 1 in 310 people in the control group and 310 as cases of people taken at random by means of the control group and the total sample in the case group. Data collection tools used books patient reports and statistical tests using Chi_Square. The results in this study found an increased risk for 2,049 times in women aged ≥ 35 years and 2,046 fold increased risk in women who have children ≥ 3 with the incidence of pre-cancerous lesions of the cervix. So there is a significant relationship between age and parity with the incidence of pre- cancerous lesions of the cervix. Abstract

Health students have been shown to have more stress than the general public. Student stress if left untreated can lead to health problems. previous studies have never measured a combination of meditation and lavender aromatherapy to reduce stress. This study aims to determine the decrease in stress of health students after being given a combination of meditation and lavender aromatherapy. Quasy Experiment pre test and post test of non equivalent control group. The sampling technique uses Quota sampling. The number of respondents was 40 people divided into two groups, namely 20 treatment groups and 20 controls. The bivariate test used is paired t-test with 95% CI value. Average stress score in the treatment group was 12.50 (normal stress) and in the control group of 14.60 (mild stress). The results of paired t-test in the treatment group obtained p value of 0.001 which means the difference in stress score before and after therapy with an average decrease of 3.20 points. In the control group there was a difference in stress score (p value = 0,000) with an average increase of 1.15 points. The combination of meditation and lavender aromatherapy effectively decreases the stress score of healthcare students. The combination of meditation and lavender aromatherapy can be a new standard for mental health nurses to manage stress on students.

Abstract

In the world of LBW occupies the first cause of infant mortality in the world in the early period of life. LBW accounts for 60% to 80% of all neonatal deaths. The global prevalence of LBW is 20 million per year or 15.5% of all babies born in the world (WHO, 2015). In Indonesia, according to The Inter-Census Population Surveys (SUPAS) 2015 IMR was 22.23 per 1,000 live births (Kemenkes RI, 2016). The Poor quality of antenatal care is one of the risk factors for LBW (Sistiarani, 2008). This study aims to determine the correlation between the quality of ANC services and the incidence of LBW in the Public Health Center of Wates Kulon Progo Regency. This study uses quantitative research with case control design and uses a retrospective approach. The populations of the study were mothers who had given birth to babies during the last two years (2016-2017). The sampling technique uses total sampling for control cases by using a ratio of 1: 1 for the case group of 40:40 samples. The study proves that the results of statistical tests show that there is a relationship between the quality of ANC services and the incidence of LBW with a p-value of 0.025 (OR=3.095, CI= 1.234-7.706).). There is a relationship between the quality of ANC services and the incidence of LBW. The inadequate or unqualified quality of ANC services increases the risk 3 times for the incident of LBW. It is expected to be able to monitor and import data on pregnant women using a mobile application.

The birth of elective Caesarean Sectio leads to a 3-fold risk than the risk of vaginal birth, whereas emergency Sectio Caesarean birth causes a 9-fold risk than the risk of vaginal delivery. This research uses analytic observational design. The data retrieval uses a retrospective time approach. The sample in this research is taken with purposive sampling technique (January 1 st 2016 to December 31 th 2016), were 195 patients. This study, using secondary data. Data analysis used Chi Square. With significance level 0,05 obtained result of P Value equal to 0,000 (P Value 0.05) and value of closeness (Phi) equal to 0,612. Therefore it can be concluded there is a relationship between the first labor with the next labor at PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital in 2016 with the strong relationship.
