Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang is a state hospital has done it is job and function, but in 3rd class of pavilion room, the number of patient decrease dramatically. It is concerned with quality of this hospital. To answer this problem, research was done using Quality Function Deployment (QFD). Quality Function Deployment is a tool which design some needs include customers represented as a voice of customer and including some competitions and also groups some activities that usually called affinity graphic ang getting a benchmarking for it is competition. From the result analysis can be showed that main attribute for patience is a accuracy. And from House Of Quality can be found that getting a periodic meeting to evaluate this hospital and also increase a service can be made 20 concept

Abstract

Onion Cracker has a unique onion is half maturation of the chewy dough and cut into thin hard, the pieces can be good just by using the slicer. The perpetrators of many home industry who complain that their profits can not be produced due to constraints on the maximum cutting process that is still traditional. It is therefore necessary process improvements to increase production capacity, as well as conducting a feasibility study. Based on market aspects, the replacement methods on a conventional blade cutting process of using a new cutting machine at UD. Kalirejo considered feasible because of the data currently available demand tends to increase significantly. Also from the technical aspects are considered feasible because of the output produced by using a new cutting machine is greater than the output using a conventional knife. Output of conventional blades = 60 Kg per day and a new cutting machine crackers = 100 Kg per day. As well as from the financial aspect considered feasible because of the newly acquired piece of machinery NPV Rp. 514 604 751, IRR of 65.88%, and DPP 2 years 11 months. Improvement in the cutting process feasible because the amount of income earned is greater than the cost of the investment program ROI 1,44.

Abstract

Goal of designing baby cupboard is to make easy for the young mother that have a baby. It designed for any needs, example as place of clothes, tools of bath and tools of drink (thermos, teapot, milk, bottle), and in order to them not difficultto prepare baby's drink in the night. The technics has made to develop alternative is brainstorming. It used with collecting some suggestion from young mother that have a baby, mother to be and susters are in the hospital. From the result with this brainstorming made a Morfology Chart that use to choose the best alternative to design the baby cupboard product.

Abstract

This research is considered as 'action research' which was tried to analyze the problems of aetheric oil industry made of Cananga flower. Research was held in Blitar Regency, East Java, as one of center aetheric oil production in Indonesia, which has potential to increase its production up to international scale. Based on this perspective, it was important to build such community empowerment based on integrative-participative model through business industry groups with basic characteristic non-corporate as suitable alternative for the development of Cananga farmer community. The results of this research were enhance distilation process, dealing with the waste from the distilation process, expanding the business unit of aroma therapy as the main product and also improving business mentality through some training activity for business motivation building.

Abstract

Development of educational games focuss on the problem occured on bay management, primarily on loading container at ship bay. The loading plan problem in ship bay commonly known as Master Bay Plan Problem (MBPP). The complexity of MBPP can be seen on its constraints, that are container weight, container destination, container size, container type, and the arrangement rule of container. The study case and playing rules in this game development are adjusted to contextual theory and real situation occured in container arrangement at ship bay. The prototype of this game is called StowaGame. StowaGame is a simulation-based educational games related to container arrangement in ship bay. This software are built with the integration of MBPP and entertainment concept. The effectivity of this educational game will be tested by several player. The MBPP concept of each player will be tested before and after playing the game. Paired-t test calculation shows that p-value is less than 0,05. Thus, it can be concluded that the educational game can educate people with container arrangement concept in ship bay.

Abstract

One strategy to improve the satisfaction of human resources is to give fair compensation based on the characteristics of the their work. Today in PT Bita Enargon Engineering, all division managers are considered to have the same workload so that they get the same basic wage, even though the workload of each division is not exactly the same. This research will determine the base salary using the point system method. The first step of this method is to conduct a job evaluation to determine the job relative value of each position. The next step is to convert the job relative value to the money value by subsituting the job relative value into a regression equation developed from the result of a survey on the closest competitors. Based on the job relative value, the basic salary for division heads and department heads can be decided.

Abstract

Industry cluster are geographic concentrations of competing, complementary, or interdependent firm and industries that do business with each other and/or have common needs for talent, technology, and infrastructure. In a industry cluster, the relationship should be profitable for each other. However, in the absence of contract, Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) as producers, do not have a strong bargaining position compared to a distributor as supporting industry so that SMEs are frequently lost. This research focus on the revenue sharing contract as an effort of coordination in snacks industry cluster. In the revenue sharing contract the manufacturer charges the distributor a low price and shares a fraction f of revenue generates by distributor. Based on the analysis has been performed, implementing revenue sharing model, can reduce the overstock cost so that it can increase the quantity orders from distributors and finally increase profits for both the SMEs and distributor. In order to gain optimum profit, it is needed to set the fraction (f) of profit sharing on revenue sharing contract. The implementation of this model requires information sharing between the SMEs and distributor.

Abstract

Company can be competitive in industry with giving a product which pursuit with the specification and have no defect, in order to produce product which have good and uniform quality existed variance had to be minimized. Six Sigma was a total approach to solve problems and increase process through DMAIC phase (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Measure phase with Pareto diagram of defect cone polyester 30, it was found that percentage of cone defect polyester 30 were: lapping, swelled, stitch, pattern, wrinkles, and ribbon and in the measure phase, it was known that sigma value equal to 3,05. Analyze phase used cause and effect diagram to analyze causes of a problem in detail. Improve phase used potential failure mode effect and analysis (PFMEA). In control phase statistical process control (SPC) was used, attribut data np control chart. The result of research were reducing DPMO to 29,87% and increasing value of sigma to 3.8 after the application of Six Sigma.

Abstract

Planning and production control are important factors to determine the efficiency derived through proper management of raw material supply of fresh fruits, production planning and master production schedule. This research aimed to develop the aggregate production planning model, and master production schedule model for juice production from fresh fruit, while also considered the perishability of the fresh fruit. There were several methods applied in the works, namely autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) for forecasting of raw material product sale, mathematical model for raw material supply, linear programming for production planning and prospective production scheduling to develop master production schedule. This research developed software for decision support system called RP_JUS. The results showed that all raw material damage was distributed exponentially. Decision Support Model of Production Schedule for Fresh Fruit Juice can be applied to the processing indudtries that use fresh fruit.

Abstract

Plastic waste is one type of waste that can not be broken down into the organic waste. Utilization of waste plastics to be recycled into plastic with better quality are rarely implemented. This study aims to utilize plastic waste in order to improve the quality of plastic products by Taguchi experimental design method that combines the pure plastic material composition of ore and recycled plastic (type PP/Polypropilena) with a certain pressure and temperature to produce a tensile strength of the plastic the better. From the experimental results, btained by a combination of material composition of 30% recycled plastic, the pressure of 6.5 atm and a temperature of 180 °C. The composition obtained by the average tensile strength of 991.667 Newton, and Signal to Noise ratio (Larger is better) by 59, 9255. Statistically, tur ulang he combination was significantly affected by alpha at 0:05 Taguchi method through experiments with a matrix orthogonal array L8 (23).
