Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang is a state hospital has done it is job and function, but in 3rd class of pavilion room, the number of patient decrease dramatically. It is concerned with quality of this hospital. To answer this problem, research was done using Quality Function Deployment (QFD). Quality Function Deployment is a tool which design some needs include customers represented as a voice of customer and including some competitions and also groups some activities that usually called affinity graphic ang getting a benchmarking for it is competition. From the result analysis can be showed that main attribute for patience is a accuracy. And from House Of Quality can be found that getting a periodic meeting to evaluate this hospital and also increase a service can be made 20 concept

Abstract

Tempat Pembuangan Akhir Sampah (TPA) Supit Urang Malang memiliki Jumlah sampah yang potensial menghasilkan gas Metana. Teknologi tepat guna ekstraksi gas metana dan pemasangannya diperlukan mengingat tidak tersedianya peralatan yang memadai kecuali backhoe ekscavator. Peralatan flaring dengan sistem monitoringnya diperlukan untuk memperoleh karakteristik produksi gas metana. Disain peralatan dan pemasangan pipa ekstraksi menggunakan metode Pahl & Beitz. Backhoe excavator yang dipergunakan dalam percobaan ini, ternyata kurang kuat untuk menekan pipa pendorong, Disarankan untuk pemasangan pipa ekstraksi sebaiknya menggunakan pile hammer, yang dipakai untuk pemasangan tiang pancang pada tegangan tanah 700 kg/cm2 karena tegangan yang pada timbunan sampah 200 kg/cm2. Produksi gas metan sedikit pada malam sampai pagi, produksi membaik mulai pukul 7 pagi dan puncaknya sekitar pukul 2 siang dengan konsentrasi mencapai 47 hingga 55 kemudian produksi metana berkurang, dan turun drastis mulai pukul 5 sore.

Abstract

Intermetallic morphology influence on the fluidity of alloys Al-11% Si. From the experiments, fluidity in the alloy Al-11% Si were added 0.6, 0.8, and 1.0% Fe, it was found that the higher the Fe content is added to the values decreasing fluidity. On addition of 1% Fe provides the longest phase of intermetallic 50.2 mm, while the shortest intermetallic phase is given by the addition of 0.6% Fe 21.3 mm. In the alloy Al-11% Si with the addition of Fe are generally higher and higher, would produce intermetallic area fraction increased significantly. On addition of 0.6% Fe intermetallic area fraction of 1.01%, while the addition of 0.8% and 1% Fe Fe each area fraction 1.16% and 2.26%

Abstract

Daktilitas merupakan merupakan faktor penting pada  perencanaan kolom beton bertulang, daktilitas ini berfungsi mencegah terjadinya keruntuhan mendadak akibat getaran gempa. Untuk menunda proses keruntuhan dan memberikan waktu yang lebih lama bagi penghuni bangunan menyelamatkan diri maka dilakukan metode untuk meningkatkan daktilitas dan kapasitas beban lateral pada kolom dengan memberi pengekangan di daerah sendi plastis. Daerah sendi plastis merupakan daerah kritis dimana terjadinya keruntuhan (failure) berada didaerah tersebut. 27 Benda uji berupa kolom persegi berukuran 150 x 150 x 900 mm dengan tulangan longitudinal 8 Ø8 mm dan tulangan sengkang Ø6 mm. Jarak (spasi) bervariasi, mulai 100 mm ; 50 mm dan 25 mm, yang dibebani dengan kombinasi beban lateral siklis dan beban aksial konstan sebesar 0,1 fc’ Ag, 0,2 fc’ Ag dan 0,3 fc’ Ag. Mutu beton yang digunakan fc’ = 20,48 Mpa, mutu baja tulangan longitudinal fy = 387 Mpa dan tulangan sengkang fy = 539 Mpa. Pengujian dilakukan dalam dua tahap yaitu load controlled dan displacement controlled. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan kapasitas beban lateral, deformasi serta tingkat daktilitas pada kolom yang mempunyai jarak spasi lebih rapat dibandingkan dengan kolom yang mempunyai jarak spasi lebih renggang. Efek beban aksial yang diberikan kepada kolom sangat  berpengaruh bagi jarak spasi sengkang karena jarak spasi yang lebih renggang dengan beban aksial melebihi 0,20 fc’ Ag akan terjadi penurunan daktilitas dan energi disipasi kolom beton bertulang.

Abstract

Many bulk material like cement, salt, and other primer  consumer goods product using of plastic bag package made from polipropilen. Because size of the packaging hardly depend on tidy material types, hence it’s required an optimization design of size plastic bag that matching with material type ( bulk density) and tidy product weight. Applied simple mathematics algorithm, where volume value karung will be converted to bulk material weight, hence optimization oflengthe and wide karung matching with bulk density material filled in in packaging will be able to be determined. Using trial error method, value l ( wide) and p ( length) plastic bag,hence expected plastic bag will be able to load material as heavy m kilogram. For example, if we want to design plastic bag for packaging dry rice 20 kgs with bulk density 0,8 kg/litre, hence we obtained optimal size of karung with wide 43 cm and long 75 cm.

Abstract

Multi-phase flows are widely encountered in several engineering and industrial facilities, such as conventional steam power  plants, evaporators and condensers, pressurized-water nuclear reactors, a wide variety of petroleum industries, chemicals and  food processing industries. Surely, in the complex pipeline  installation of these systems, vertical pipe will be commonly  used for pipe connection. The purpose of this work is to investigate the flow pattern of gas-liquid two phase in the vertical pipe. Experiments will be performed in a 36 mm ID  acrylic pipe vertical. Superifical liquid velocities and volumetric gas quality will be varied 0.3~1,1 m/s and 0.05~0.2 respectively. Digital camera will be used for flow pattern  visualization in the vertical pipe. It was observed that effect of vertical pipe on flow pattern formed cluster bubbly flow for low volumetric gas quality with high superifical liquid velocities. For  superifical liquid velocities with medium volumetric gas quality formed homogeneous bubbly flow and high volumetric gas quality is dense bubbly flow.

Abstract

Rapid development in Manufacturing field and in information is more sophisticated now. Here to this can help the manufacturer in developing supply chain management and building better cooperation between parties such as distributor, supplier, and  consumer. There is a policy which is using this technology known Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI). With this policy manufacturer can give responsibility to the supplier for managing and  determining when and how much the product will be delivered according to inventory and demand in that time. PT Sampharindo Perdana is a company in pharmaceutical. Today this company manufactures 88 medicine consist of capsule, pill, syrup, and drops. The problem faced by this Company is orderchanging from distributor. So that, if it is happen very often it can make lateness and cancel the orders. Avoiding from that problem, we can use VMI policy with LRP logics as a tools of detemining when and how much delivery will be carried on to the distributor. From this policy we will get a policy to determine when and how much delivery will be carried on to the distributor.This policy can minimize average inventory to 8% and enhance service level up to 4%.

Abstract

CV. Corning Sidoarjo is a home furnishings industry, one product is kitchen furniture brand Revere Was able to produce as many as ± 34.152 units per year. Production conditions of Revere Ware brand products now has the highest number of defective products within each sub process: press, press cutting (cut), roll process, and mashed process 2.436 units per year or approximately 7.13% of total production per year. Based on these data, CV. Corning Sidoarjo trying to reduce the defect rate of products by determining the performance of initial conditions (baseline) and performance targets to be achieved by using Six Sigma methods. With Six Sigma methods can be obtained performance targets aimed at reducing the level of defects in each sub-process, namely: The process of pressing, the  process of cutting, coil processing, and mashed process of  2.292 units per year or approximately 6.71% of total production per year.

Abstract

CV. Corning Sidoarjo is a home furnishings industry, one  product is kitchen furniture Pekalongan Regency is one regency in the region of Central Java Province has a forest area is relatively large, including public forests. Public forest for several years has been planted by pine trees, pine trees and even the population in the region has reached 400,000 trees. Suchlarge populations have not utilized optimally by the public, so the effort required to implement a development of that potential. One development that can be done is by processing the sap of pine into Gondorukem products, which Gondorukem is one of several types of raw materials industries, including batik industry is an important industrial sector in Pekalongan Regency. By doing this research is expected to be identified ways and strategies to develop the potential of public of pine forests and streng then the competitiveness of commodities produced Gondorukem, both on the regional market, national, and international. In addition, also to be identified new opportunities (in this case another potential can still be developed) and developing the competi tiveness of Pekalongan Regency through industrial products, such as batik and other industry related value chain. In an attempt to resolve the problem in this research, use industry cluster approach. This approach uses several instruments and data processing devices, including analysis of internal and external environment pine forest community, SWOT analysis, decision  making with Analitycal Network Process (ANP), analysis of the  competitiveness diamond approach and strategy formulation model taking into account some previous analysis and analysis supporters. Of some devices is expected to obtain an  appropriate strategy formulation and implementation of the development potential of the public pine forest in Pekalongan Regency in order to support increased competitiveness of  Pekalongan Regency.

Abstract

Municipal Solid Wastes (MSW) has great potential as a clean, renewable feedstock for producing modern energy carriers through thermochemical, called pyrolyis, and densification processes to form a Refused Derived Fuels (RDF), i.e MSW char briquette. In this article, thermogravimetry analysis has done to analyzed combustion characteristic of MSW briquette dan MSW char briquette. The sample in this research is 70 % wt MSW organic component 30 % wt MSW non organic component. . The 20 gram sample is placed in the furnace whose temperature is increased 10 0C/min and until sample temperature reaches 400 0C and held for 30 minutes before the sample is cooled into room temperature. 100 ml/min nitrogen is introduced from the bottom of furnace as a swept gas.. The formed char is densified and then characterized in a self manufactured macro balance, adopted from Swithenbank et al.. The 3 gram sample is placed in the furnace whose temperature is increased wih the selected heating rate until sample mass nearly constant.The results of the research showed that the effect of pyrolysis give the increase of sample heating value and give the lower ignition temperature of char briquette combustion.

Abstract

Cocoa is product of can to experience desorptions process, when moisture content more than equillibrium moisture content. This of moisture desorptions process, as usually to result in unbelievable activity of microorganism. That is often can to drop of product quality. Desorptions process necessary to study and to know so that if to preserve, cocoa fixed of high quality. The obyectives of this research is known bigness of desorptions value is happen at cocoa fermented of product. The result of research was shown that 77,8% sample, to  experience desorptions prosess. This to happen at temperature 20ºC, 30ºC and 50ºC. Highest of desorptions value is 0,1473 and to happen at temperature 50ºC with humidity 11%. Just low of desorptions value is 0,0133 and to happen at temperature 20ºC With humidity 54%. The result of research also shown that increase of temperature cause to heighten of desorptions process. Just with increase of humidity cause to decrease of desorptions process.
