It is concerned with quality of this hospital. To answer this problem, research was done using Quality Function Deployment (QFD). Quality Function Deployment is a tool which design some needs include customers represented as a voice of customer and including some competitions and also groups some activities that usually called affinity graphic ang getting a benchmarking for it is competition. From the result analysis can be showed that main attribute for patience is a accuracy. And from House Of Quality can be found that getting a periodic meeting to evaluate this hospital and also increase a service can be made 20 concept

Abstract

Rapid development in Manufacturing field and in information is more sophisticated now. Here to this can help the manufacturer in developing supply chain management and building better cooperation between parties such as distributor, supplier, and  consumer. There is a policy which is using this technology known Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI). With this policy manufacturer can give responsibility to the supplier for managing and  determining when and how much the product will be delivered according to inventory and demand in that time. PT Sampharindo Perdana is a company in pharmaceutical. Today this company manufactures 88 medicine consist of capsule, pill, syrup, and drops. The problem faced by this Company is orderchanging from distributor. So that, if it is happen very often it can make lateness and cancel the orders. Avoiding from that problem, we can use VMI policy with LRP logics as a tools of detemining when and how much delivery will be carried on to the distributor. From this policy we will get a policy to determine when and how much delivery will be carried on to the distributor. This policy can minimize average inventory to 8% and enhance service level up to 4%.

Abstract

Supplier evaluation process is a strategic activity on purchasing management that aims to find out the performance of the supplier. PT. Fronte Classic Indonesia is a company manufacturing car carpet, one of the raw materials needed in producing car carpet that is calcium. The supplier in partnership with the company has performance that is less suitable. The methods used in this research Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Taguchi Loss Function. AHP is used to determine the weights of the criteria and Taguchi Loss Function is used to calculate the loss function of the respective supplier. Supplier evaluation process carried out to search for suppliers and meet the criteria of the company. The criteria used in the evaluation of suppliers are price, delivery, quality, the accuracy of goods quantity, guarantee policy, response to claims. The results showed that the suppliers who meet the criteria of the company by providing minimum losses as the best supplier.

Abstract

The research has been conducted to evaluate the fermented azolla flour substitutions that optimize the growth rate and digestibility in Tilapia. The research was based on CompletelyRandomized Design (CRD) with three replications. Four levels of substitution of soy meal with fermented azolla flour were: P0 (100%:0%), P1 (85%:15%), P2 (70%:30%), and P3 (55%:45%). The main parameters were absolute growth rate, feed conversion, and digestibility of Tilapia (Oreochiomis sp.). The result showed that the substitution of soy meal with fermented azollaflour has significant effect into growth rate and digestibility parameters. The P1 treatment gave the best result with growth absolute rate 0,81 gram, feed conversion 3,14 and 67,68% digestibility.

Abstract

PT. Petrokimia Gresik is a company producing fertilizer with raw material reactive chemicals. In the production process required adjuvant to speed up the process. On the other hand, the company also wants to realize its mission to the environment in accordance with goverment regulations. So that the company’s activities will reach a point of balance between the economy an the environment. The goal of this research is to help the company in determining the criteria and sub-criteria are influential in selecting green suppliers with Fuzzy AHP method, and helping to choose the best alternative green supplier with Fuzzy TOPSIS method. There are 9 criteria and 19 sub-criteria and 4 alternative supplier in this study. Based on the calculation method of Fuzzy AHP, the criteria that affect are the quality and environmental management system, whle for sub criteria are green image and the PPM levels. Based on the calculation method of Fuzzy TOPSIS obtained the best alternative solution for the company is supplier 1 from 4 alternative supplier

Abstract

Plastick sheet coated like paper for food, bag packaged plastic, etc now is needed for industry. To find material it laminated, it form still in coated laminated process with plastic film. An operational equation in the laminated process need to be founded so that its laminated process can be adjusted with the assigned order. That is usually problem that is not be solved by producers. By using mass balanced principles, the equation can be founded. By using data collected, we can calculate constanta of the equation and also RPM display value that will be used to determine thick of coated film needed for the width film as ordered.

Abstract

PG Kebon Agung is a goods company which product is sugar. In case of regulating queue of truck loaded with sugar tree, this company is suggested to do it properly. This time it still take for very long time for the truck loaded with sugar tree to be processed later. Long time queue can cause decreasing sugar product quality. PG Kebon Agung hasn’t been able to overcome this problem, so it’s necessary a method to decrease direct and indirect cost for public service supplying due to large number of truck waiting to served. If supplying service facility is not optimally, it’ll cause delayed service, therefore applying queue simulation model is right management system to reduce the queue. By using Arena Software 3.0, the most optimal service chose by PGKA is by using 3 loket penimbangans, because by using 3 loket penimbangans the number of truck in the system, from waiting to finishing process is 5.8333 trucks a minutes. By using more than 3 loket penimbangans it will decrease more queue but the loket penimbangan s have more standby and cost a lot of money.

Abstract

Production activities which are conducted by some companies still use a lot of material inventory that production activities can run smoothly, but this condition is not considered optimal because many sources in the plant, so the investment is only in use for material. Ordering a material is not supported by data appropriately in product demand, it will make inventory of raw materials can not be sure so that the material is sometimes a lot and sometimes run out. The use of labor and production facilities are not accordance with demand, finally the production activities are not effective and efficient. Resources owned by the company must to be known in detail, so that the company can use capabilities of existing resources optimally. Company to achieve product demand should know the productive capacity, so that the ability of the company?s production targets can be achieved optimally, by measuring standard time at work operations and determine performance rating for each operator. In determining the demand for the product the next period using the method of linear regression forecasting the number of types of product demand of 1278 kg. Material requirements planning (MRP) orders can be made on day 7 of each month in accordance with the number of each type of raw material.

Abstract

Competition and global market induce enterprises to meet their customer needs on product/ service in considerably cheap price, in acceptable quality and within short lead time. This leads to the fact that coordination in a supply chain is extremely important. This research compare an one manufacturer-one distributor supply chain coordination scenarios in a model joint pricing and production/order decisions. Model joint pricing and production/order decisions is based on Non Linear Programming with objective function to maximize its supply chain profit.Pricing scheme is initiated when the manufacturer determines its selling price. A supply chain coordination scenario and supply chain without coordination scenario will compare in this research. Experiment by employing a set of numerical example is performed to evaluate the model performance. Moreover, sensitivity analysis is done to explore the effect of capacity?s and price to demand sensitivity-parameter?s changes to the objective function of proposed model.
