Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang is a state hospital has done it is job and function, but in 3rd class of pavilion room, the number of patient decrease dramatically. It is concerned with quality of this hospital. To answer this problem, research was done using Quality Function Deployment (QFD). Quality Function Deployment is a tool which design some needs include customers represented as a voice of customer and including some competitions and also groups some activities that usually called affinity graphic ang getting a benchmarking for it is competition. From the result analysis can be showed that main attribute for patience is a accuracy. And from House Of Quality can be found that getting a periodic meeting to evaluate this hospital and also increase a service can be made 20 concept

Abstract

Companies that are categorized as small industries face many difficulties to keep survive or to develop their products. The subject of this study was convection home industry with the commodity as follows: Muslim clothes, sport shirt, baby clothes, children clothes, bed covers, veils, and many kinds of embroidery products. The purpose of CSSF (Contingent Strategic Success Formula) approach was to analyze the formula of success strategy by combining the internal condition with external condition of the company. The ways to do that were by measuring, estimating, and predicting the environment condition of the company at this time and at the specific time in the future. The measuring of internal condition of the company is aimed to know the things that need to be repaired so the company can fulfill the requirement of optimal external condition in the future. The finding of this study was shown in 4 cases. First, the variables that have influence in convection home industry were 36 industries. Second, there were 3 clusters of convection home industries, those were: Cluster 1, the companies of embroidery convection that lack of success, and Cluster 2 and 3, the company with mass production that success enough and very success. Cluster 1 was categorized as the company that left behind in the competition and its agresivieness and responssiveness is under environment turbulence. Cluster 2 was success enough because the turbulence difference with agresiveness and responssiveness is not wide. Cluster 3 was the best one because the company was number one in the competition and its agresiveness and resposiveness exceed the environment turbulence at this time. Three, to get success in the future, the company need to fulfill the optimal internal condition that suitable with the level of turbulency. It is better for the companies to apply 3 succeed marketing points, those are: to develop the positioning of the products in the specific SBA, create the strong differences, create mark equities, or the emotional relationship with the customers

Abstract

PT. Industri Sandang Nusantara Pata! Secang Magelang is some factory that regarding in manufactur sector which thread producting. For this time the factory have a problem with stacking same kind of product and in the other way less  another product. This case cause that factory use product scheduling based on experience and reckoned of selling in last period.  Connected with this problem, the  case is how to make a good  schedule in order that  factory could be completing consumer demand and decided some main product schedule with simpleks methode.The articulate in factory for this time is reguler employee 65 persons.  If reguler employee is  not enaugh, then there are overtime job (maximal 2 hour/days), and if still  not enaugh too, then used subcontract. Based on capacity of production, the  number of  maximal employee  are 70 personsAccording to  teoritis,  with  using  of  forecasting  and  agregat  planning,  the  factory's problem can be done. This forecasting used to productin supossing in about to many periods.  With use simpleks methode can be planning the number of employee. In order that, the main production can be made.Analyst result get that  demand fluktuation for R 30/1,   PR 30/1  products use Moving Average Linear Trend (3) methode, R 24/ 1,  R I 11,  PR 40/l products using Moving Average Linear Trend (5) methode, PR 45/l  product using Linear Regression methode. Value analyst with based on forecasting result for future 12  periods,  supposed that factory will  pay for Rp.  460.340.000,? After applying Linear Programming giftotal cost Rp. 450.164.576,-.  Thrifting Rp. 10.175.424,- or 2,2%.   Sensitivity analyst made cost to be Rp. 448.651.040,-,   thrifting Rp.  11.688.960,-    or 2,5%  at the number of regular employees 66 persons.

Abstract

The development of plantation agro-industry should refer to primary commodity approach. Until now there is no accurate reference for government Kolaka. The diversifications of products and by-product have not developed yet. The objectives of this research were to formulate development strategy of regional potential of the prime plantation agro industry. The object of this research is six primary commodities of plantation; those are cacao, clover, pepper, cashew, coconut, and coffee in Kolaka Regency with Delphi and SWOT methods. The research results showed that the development strategy of regional potential of the prime plantation agro industry there are at quadrant I or that strategy was created by using all the power to take advantage of opportunities that an aggressive strategy by doing independence improvement of the farmers through development and counseling, partnership development on agro-industry activities in the effort of giving additional value of production.

Abstract

Knowing that success in the implementation of the strategy implemented by management to achieve the vision and mission that has been established, it would require an appropriate measure of performance using a design with two Spencer competence perspectives measurement comprehensibly and integrated that is in each criterion is expected to concretely describe the performance of the company and can be used as a measure of judgment in the provision of incentives. This study aims to support the decision to give incentives to the grup of employees with competency-based Spencer and Analytic Hierarchy Process as a weighting in the decision-making strategy to improve company performance. Based on the results of performance measurement in companies using the Sakti PT.Biru Spencer and Analytical Hierarchy Process can be concluded that the employee grup A has a value of 3.516 of performance achievement., grup B has a value of employee performance achievements 3.059, grup C has a value of employee performance achievements 3.138, grup D employee has a value of 3.57 and the achievement of performance grup E employees have a value of 3.563 of performance achievement. The results of measurements of the performance of each grup of employees by using the method of Spencer and AHP, are known to facilitate the performance of each grup and the management in providing the right incentives, the amount of incentives that should be given to each work grup performance based on achievement during the first 3 months in 2009, where employee grup B the highest incentives of Rp 6,153,907, -, grup D employees of Rp 6,113,469, -, grup of employees amounting to Rp 5,845,617 A, grup C of Rp 3,669,158 employees and employees of grup B of Rp 3,217, 850

Abstract

The growth of smartphone users in Indonesia opens up business opportunities for service providers, in particular via m-commerce. However, along with these great opportunities and rivalry, service providers are required to make consumers faithful to the products and services they deliver.  This research aimed to develop a conceptual model for an application based on m-commerce, particularly in the context of the mobile travel agent application.  The research model was based on the application of five dimensions of mobile service quality (M-S-QUAL), customer engagement, and commitment as the predecessor factors of customer loyalty.  The study was conducted on 760 MTA application users who participated in an online survey.  The data were divided into two groups based on the level of income to be further analyzed using the Multigroup Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).  The Multigroup SEM analysis showed that the concept of customer loyalty was explained differently by the two groups with different income levels.

Abstract

This Research was conducted in PT X Tbk, Pandaan as a mean to look for combination amount of optimal product. PT X Tbk in the field of plastic production, goods the produced bottle by is assorted of size measure and colour. As for bottle the taken Image of Chamomile and of Nivea, while colour of Image bottle of Chamomile is green and its size measure is 120 ml and 250 ml. For the bottle of white Nivea chromatic and its size measure is 100 ml and 200 ml. From various produced bottle type cause incidence of a problem of that is problem of determination of less precise production volume. This matter is known from often happened product insuffiency or excess causing the loss of opportunity of request so that obtained advantage less optimal. In research to determine optimal product combination with Linear Programming method through two phase, that is first request of forecasting by using method of time series constructively Minitab software among others Moving Average, Single Exponential Smoothing, Double Exponential Smoothing, Winter’S and of Trend Linear, and second stage to conduct calculation of Linear Programming model constructively QS. From result of calculation by using QS hence got optimal solution of product combination between Image bottle of Chamomile 120 ml Green, Image of Chamomile 250 ml Green, Nivea 100 ml Slimdes RW White, and Nivea 200 ml Slimdes RW White which must produce. As for obtained advantage from after applying of Linear Programming method representing result of calculation during 12 period is equal to Rp421,918,752, while obtained advantage before conducted by Linear Programming is Rp410,250,750, so that happened the make-up of advantage equal to 2.84% that is Rp11,668,002.

Abstract

Production scheduling is an important activity in manufacturing. Optimal scheduling affects the time of completion of the work. PT. Interpack is a company that produces packaging machines. The job schedule of the product spare part still uses the random priority rules. Use of random rules makes a lot of time delay. Delay causes operator and machine idle. Delay also causes the total time of completion of the work (makespan) and delay the greater.  So it needs to be rescheduled to work on the spare part of product. Job scheduling using the Artificial Immune System (AIS) algorithm. AIS was developed by Farmer et al. The AIS algorithm refers to the human immune system. The stages of the AIS algorithm begin with random initialization, antibody representation and gene classification, clone breeding, selection of donor antibodies, germ-line construction, gene fragment redesign, and ending with diversification of antibodies. AIS algorithm scheduling resulted in a more optimal new schedule. AIS algorithm scheduling generates a future of 6483.91 minutes. Company scheduling generates makespan of 7059.99 minutes. AIS Schedule finishes algorithm 4 days of the due date. AIS algorithm schedule increase machine utility by 1%.

Abstract

In the world of industry, insulation materials are often utilized to maintain the temperature, either low or high. However, since the insulation materials often need to be thick, thus, costly, they are frequently deemed impractical. Therefore, in the attempt to replace the insulation materials, a cavity with low vacuum pressure is opted for. Yet, to attain a total (100%) airfree cavity is not an easy task. Such, the cavity usually still bears some amount of air pressure which results in natural heat convection through the two surfaces making up the cavity. The transfer coefficient of natural heat convection (h) is influenced by some factors, such as, the temperature difference, geometry of the cavity, cavity orientation, and characteristics of the fluid, for instance, its pressure, temperature, conductivity, specific gravity (density), and viscosity. The purpose of the study is to find answers to the following question: “How do vacuum pressure variation and cavity ratio affect the rate of natural heat convection through the a cavity?” Pertinent to the question, the study was aimed to find the appropriate value of the vacuum pressurewhich can function well as an insulator. This study is significant in the attempt to lower down the rate of heat transfer taking place in a system vis-à-vis the surrounding media. The study found out that the degree of emptiness of -60 cm Hg and =5.96, results in a lower rate of heat transfer compared with -20 cm Hg and -40 cm Hg. This means that the vacuum pressure of -60cm Hg bears a bigger thermal resistance than the -20 cm Hg and -40 cm Hg do.

Abstract

One of the construction material product that's have highly required in constructing a house is house roof that Is roof tile. On of the producen that's produce its in big scale is in Wendit, a country side of Mangliawan. This product as people known is calls as Wendit roof tilet.Wendit produce its roof tile in low quality and cost of its that people prefer choose another roof tile product that have more level either in cost also quality. If this condition is continue without a will to improve its quality, distribution and much more according to satisfy customer desire roof tile producen of Wendit in country side of Mangliawan will close down. A side impact of its degradation is will decreasing the earnings of country side society of Mangliawan and also they social economics in matter the loost of their only life-way to gain a money will decreasing a level of life in social economic and also rise-up the number of unemployment. To answer this problematic this research covered: identification requirement of customer and translating into characteristic of performance by using QFD, developing alternative of design and also Value product for the alternative with Value Engineering. Attribute wanted by customer to tile product for example model, strong, refinement, do not be bars , cool, tile size is not undersize, is easy to attached, price. Satisfaction of customer to the attributes when measured with scale 5 is have good with score above 3. By attention tile industry of Wendit exist in Worse luck, hence technical action and attribute which must be done conducted by tile industry of Wendit is as according to priority shall be as follows: repair of model according to desire of market, adjustment of size measure, printer appliance or of desk have to is made from good materials, have to pay attention pressure at the time of printing, one who do printing process have to which is experienced to be, adapted for by size measure of pres concrete, tile materials have to really solid, process combustion with heat which enough.
