Abstract

The uniqueness of Indonesian coffee that has spread throughout the world globally and grows into a cultural behaviour and life style . This phenomenology study aim to elaborate specifically on the coffee in Malay culture. Riau Archipelago region did not experience British colonial occupation historically , so it was not familiar with the tea-time culture. Instead, the Malay community knows coffee to be consumed because it has the effect of giving enthusiasm to work due to the caffeine in it. Coffee is also a good complement because it is easy to serve, it just need to brew it with hot water and it pairs well with various snacks. The social behavior of Malay men who like to sit together while waiting to go to sea provides a business opportunity for traders, the Chinese, who have always lived side by side with the Malays of the Riau Archipelago. So from what was originally just a collection of people on the seafront, a coffee tiam coffee shop emerged. “ is one of well known coffee shop with its local brand of coffee called Kopi Sekanak, , Kopi Para Raja “ . This tradition are not only a place to bring together various ages, ethnic backgrounds, religions, and professions but also becoming an icon of Malay’s coffee .

Abstract

Standar operasional prosedur adalah pedoman atau referensi untuk melekukan tugas pekerjaan yang sesuai dengan fungsi dan alat penilaian kerja waiter/waitress di restoran. Penelitian ini di lakukan dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana penerapan Standar Oprasional Prosedur yang diterapkan oleh waiter/waitress di restoran Anambas Beverly Hotel Batam. Dalam penelitian ini mengunakan metode pengumpulan data, reduksi data, dan penyajian data yang diperoleh melalui Teknik wawancara mendalam terhadap informasi kunci ,informasi non kunci dan observasi serta dokumentasi yang akan lakukan oleh peneliti. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Penerapan SOP oleh waiter dan waitress di restoran Anambas Beverly Hotel Batam tampak bahwa mereka menerapkan SOP dengan baik. Misalnya, mereka selalu mengenakan seragam yang rapi dan bersih, menyapa pelanggan dengan sopan, dan memberikan rekomendasi menu dengan pengetahuan yang baik tentang makanan dan minuman yang disajikan. Selain itu, mereka juga menunjukkan keterampilan yang baik dalam melayani pelanggan, Dari penilaian yang di ambil, terlihat waiter dan waitress di restoran Anambas Beverly Hotel Batam bekerja sesuai dengan SOP. Mereka menunjukkan profesionalisme dan dedikasi dalam pekerjaan mereka, yang mencerminkan pelatihan dan pedoman yang mereka terima.

Abstract

Leadership has a positive and significant partial effect on the performance of Food & Beverage Service employees at Sheraton Bandung Hotel & Towers. This suggests that if department managers effectively coordinate their teams, employee performance will improve. The work environment also positively and significantly impacts the individual performance of Food & Beverage Service employees at Sheraton Bandung Hotel & Towers, indicating that a supportive and conducive work environment enhances performance. Both leadership and the work environment together have a positive and significant impact on the performance of Food & Beverage Service employees at Sheraton Bandung Hotel & Towers. The research design utilized by the researcher is a quantitative approach. The author employed an explanatory research type, specifically associative research, which aims to test theories or hypotheses to either confirm or refute existing theories or hypotheses based on prior research findings. The study focuses on the variables of leadership, work environment, and employee performance in the Food & Beverage Service at Sheraton Bandung Hotel & Towers. The objectives of this research are: To identify the impact of leadership on the quality of employee performance at Feast Restaurant in Sheraton Bandung Hotel and Towers. To examine the effect of the work environment on the quality of employee performance at Feast Restaurant in Sheraton Bandung Hotel and Towers and To determine whether leadership or the work environment has the most significant influence on the quality of employee performance at Feast Restaurant in Sheraton Bandung Hotel and Towers.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the effect of the appearance and taste of products from the best seller menu on customer satisfaction at the Luar Garis Cafe Tiban, Batam City, in this case the best seller menu used is the typical Luar Garis Fried Rice. The research method used was a quantitative approach and descriptive analysis method. By using multiple linear analysis, namely partial influence test and simultaneous influence test. The results of the research show that the significant value for the appearance and taste of the product is 0.00 which is smaller than 0.05 in the partial influence test and in the simultaneous influence test the appearance and taste of the product shows a fcount value of 85.158 which is greater than f table 3.09 so that the appearance and taste of the product have an influence simultaneously. There is also a coefficient of determination test which shows that 63% of the product appearance and taste variables simultaneously influence the customer satisfaction variable. The conclusion of this research is that the appearance and taste of the product have a significant influence on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran konser musik sebagai salah satu komponen utama dalam pengembangan pariwisata di Kota Batam. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini menganalisis data yang diperoleh melalui wawancara dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konser musik telah menjadi daya tarik wisata yang populer di Batam, menarik minat wisatawan yang beragam. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi potensi konser musik dalam mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal, promosi budaya, dan pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan.

Abstract

A restaurant is a business in the food service industry or part of a tourist accommodation business whose role is to meet the needs of tourists or customers. In this case, good service quality really determines the development of restaurants outside of food and drink. Free. Kelong Baba Batam Restaurant is a restaurant that provides quality service. This research aims to see the application of service quality and what improvements can be made in the management of the Kelong Baba Batam Restaurant, so that the quality of the restaurant's service can be improved or reduced. This research will be carried out using a qualitative descriptive approach. Kelong Baba Restaurant itself has a modern concept and has an attractive interior that makes guests comfortable eating there. Not only is the interior attractive, Kelong Baba Restaurant is also very sensitive to what guests need to make the guests themselves comfortable.
