Abstract

Leveraging strategic information systems (IS) and information technology (IT) through value chain analysis has emerged as an important pivotal approach to enhance hospital outcomes. This study aims to develop a framework for integrating IS/IT strategies at Datu Sanggul Hospital, a Class C facility in South Kalimantan, to achieve precision healthcare delivery. The research methodology encompasses data collection via document studies, stakeholder interviews, and observations, coupled with rigorous data analysis and validation techniques. A strategic model formulates algorithms and system architectures guiding implementation of critical IS/IT initiatives like telemedicine, customer relationship management, and executive information systems. Robust IT strategies, including data center development, cloud computing, and disaster recovery planning, optimize operations and resource management. Mapping business needs to tailored IS solutions ensures precision across financial reporting, inventory management, employee training, and interdepartmental collaboration. The proposed approach aligns IS/IT strategies with operational objectives through value chain analysis, enhancing patient care quality, operational efficiency, and resource optimization. Positioning the institution for precision medicine, this framework drives innovation and improves health outcomes in healthcare's evolving landscape.

Abstract

The development of information technology plays an important role in providing digital services, including government websites. The Bantul Communication and Informatics Service manages the website as a means of disseminating news, public information, announcements and videos of activities. However, in 2019, this website service was not optimal in providing information. Since 2022, system and appearance improvements have been made to improve service quality. This research aims to analyze the level of satisfaction of users of the Bantul Communication and Informatics Service website using the WebQual 4.0 method, which includes the variables ease of use, information quality, service interaction and user satisfaction. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and classic assumption tests with SPSS version 25, preceded by validity and reliability tests on 30 respondents from Bantul. Using a non-probability sampling technique, data was collected through questionnaires from 100 respondents from Bantul residents, 30 September - 7 October 2024. The research results showed that the WebQual 4.0 method was effective in assessing website quality, with two of the three hypotheses accepted. Regression analysis revealed a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 81.5%, indicating that the variables ease of use, information quality and service interaction influenced user satisfaction by 81.5%, while 18.5% was influenced by other factors. The T test shows that ease of use is not significant on satisfaction, but the quality of information and service interaction has a significant effect. The F test shows that the three variables have a significant effect simultaneously on user satisfaction.

Abstract

Attendance is a crucial method for tracking whether individuals are present at specific activities. In today's era, technology-based attendance systems are widely used because they provide convenience and efficiency. However, TELKOM AKSES PADANGSIDEMPUAN still relies on manual processes for recording attendance and tracking intern activities. This manual approach often leads to inaccuracies and issues with discipline. To address these challenges, an Attendance and Activity Information System for Apprentices was developed for the Telkom Padangsidempuan Office. The system's design involved several stages, including interviews, data collection, and observational data analysis. Additionally, UML (Unified Modeling Language) was employed to design and analyze each component of the system. This technology-based solution aims to enhance the accuracy of attendance records and improve overall discipline, providing a modern and efficient alternative to traditional manual methods

Abstract

Naive Bayes algorithm used to classify the best-selling product categories in e-commerce. The data used comes from a public Kaggle dataset, comprising 250,000 transactions during the 2020–2023 period. The analysis process follows the CRISP-DM model, including stages such as business understanding, data preparation, modeling, and model evaluation using a confusion matrix. Evaluation results show that the model achieved an accuracy of 92.64%, precision of 91.51%, and recall of 96.68%. The analysis revealed that the best-selling product category is Clothing, followed by Books, Electronics, and Home. This study demonstrates that the Naive Bayes algorithm can be effectively implemented to support stock management and data-driven marketing strategies in e-commerce.

Abstract

In today's rapidly evolving digital era, information systems (IS) play a crucial role in supporting business operations, especially in trading and distribution companies like CV XYZ. CV XYZ specializes in the distribution of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), such as snacks, beverages, and confectionery products. To enhance operational efficiency, strategic information system planning is essential to align IS/IT investments with long-term business goals.this study aims to develop an IS strategic plan for CV XYZ to optimize business operations and improve competitiveness. Using a qualitative approach, data collection involved interviews and literature reviews. Analytical methods, including PESTLE, SWOT, and Gap Analysis, were employed to evaluate internal and external factors influencing the company's IS/IT needs.Key findings indicate that CV XYZ requires an integrated information system to manage inventory, transactions, and financial reporting in real time. Recommended strategies include implementing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, enhancing data security, expanding IT infrastructure, and developing cloud-based solutions. The proposed roadmap outlines a phased IS/IT implementation over 3–5 years, emphasizing the integration of existing applications with advanced technologies to support sustainable growth. The study concludes that strategic IS planning enables CV XYZ to address operational challenges, leverage digitalization opportunities, and improve customer satisfaction. Recommendations include enhancing system integration, upgrading cybersecurity measures, and fostering strategic partnerships to achieve competitive advantages and adapt to market dynamics.
