Abstract

Managing innovation in education is key in facing the era of globalization and constant technological development. Innovation plays an important role in creating a dynamic and relevant learning environment. However, managing innovation in education is not easy, because it involves a deep understanding of various aspects, including student needs, resources, scientific developments, and social and political factors. The innovation management process includes the stages of identification, development, implementation and evaluation of innovation. The aim is to improve the quality of education, student competitiveness, efficiency and inclusiveness. However, in the real world, the introduction of innovations often encounters resistance to change, resource limitations, technological problems, and administrative barriers. In the digital era, the use of artificial intelligence (AI)-based technology in education has changed the paradigm. AI technology enables personalization of learning, efficiency, and collection of data for improvement. However, challenges include infrastructure, staff training, data privacy, and cultural change. A participatory approach, involving all stakeholders in decision-making and implementation of innovation, is an effective method in overcoming challenges and maximizing the benefits of AI technology in higher education. Both case studies underscore the importance of managing innovation and AI technology in education to improve the quality of learning, student engagement and development of relevant skills. But challenges such as infrastructure, training and privacy issues need to be addressed tactfully according to the context of each educational institution.

Abstract

The relevance of higher education curricula to the evolving needs of industry is key to providing students with the skills and knowledge they need. A new approach to curriculum development is needed, which includes several important aspects. First, the relevance of the curriculum must be placed in a broader social context, taking into account the social impact and contribution of students to society. Project-based learning is also emerging as an effective model, involving students in research or problem-solving projects that provide real-world experience. The importance of formative assessment as a tool for providing feedback that helps students improve their understanding is also highlighted. Involving students as active partners in curriculum development can create greater engagement. The curriculum must be able to accommodate student diversity and promote inclusivity. A competency-based approach emphasizes the development of practical skills that are relevant to the real world. A curriculum that is responsive to industry changes provides graduates with skills that increase their competitiveness in the job market. Close collaboration with industry is a key factor in ensuring curriculum relevance. Continuous evaluation, industrial training for lecturers, and flexibility in the curriculum are important strategies. The relevance of the curriculum is the key to creating graduates who are ready to face the ever-growing world of work and contribute to industrial innovation. This approach recognizes the importance of renewal and relevance in higher education to produce graduates who are ready to face changes in the ever-evolving world of work. This is a challenge and opportunity to create future leaders who innovate, are open-minded, and able to adapt to rapid changes in the dynamic world of work. In the era of globalization and technological development, the relevance of higher education curricula is becoming increasingly important to ensure graduates have relevant skills.

Abstract

"Sovereignty is in the hands of the people and is implemented according to the Constitution." Paragraph 2 of Article 1 of the 1945 Constitution asserts that the sovereignty of citizens must be defended through constitutional law. Sovereign people do not mean freedom to act arbitrarily either in actions or in providing aspirations for the interests of citizens in an authoritarian manner but in the form of consensus deliberation in institutions. The formation of rules for implementing the authority of the MPR institution is deemed necessary to be regulated in a separate law, outside of "Law no. 17” of 2017 concerning MD3, considering that the MPR has fundamental authority and is the sole implementer of popular sovereignty. This is different from people's representative institutions such as the DPR, DPD and DPRD. Regulations or legislation for the special authority of the MPR outside "Law no. 17 of 2017” About MD3. So as not to give rise to interpretations that have similar authority. This formation is intended to carry out none other than the goals of the nation, based on state philosophy and the unique values of the Indonesian nation in accordance with the philosophy contained in the 4th paragraph of the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and the 4th principle of Pancasila. So it can be concluded that in regulating the authority of the MPR it is necessary to create a special law/special authority that regulates the MPR so that the function of the MPR can be optimal in making policies but still listening to the aspirations of the DPD, DPR, DPRD, and the wider community who are members of skilled professions such as academics, and other professions related to this authority.
