Abstract

This research aims to develop a system capable of processing voice input to recognize Al-Quran reading by recitation of Tajwid, using wavelet signal extraction and classification of Tajwid rules using ANFIS. The process stages include data acquisition, audio data pre-processing, extraction using wavelet packets, division of training data and test data, and classification. The data obtained were 20 observations from 10 observations carried out in data pre-processing. The wavelet decomposition process produces six main features as ANFIS input variables and 64 rules. Then the data was separated into 17 observations for training data and three for testing data. The test results obtained from the training that had been carried out produced plots that were too fit; in this experiment, the WPANFIS classification model got 100% appropriate classification and SSE values that were the same as the training result, 0.00081225.

Abstract

The Office of Religious Affairs of the Pasar Jambi sub-district of Jambi City has several important tasks in terms of marriage affairs. Still, the problem is that the data is complex and not properly organized. Data speed is the answer for every person or resident in Jambi City. Those who want to get married have to go through a lot of documents that must be neatly recorded so that the data can be retrieved quickly and easily. Not only focusing on marriage or nikah data, the Office of Religious Affairs of the Pasar Jambi sub-district also takes care of several other things. Some examples of records carried out are the recording of marriages, referrals, mosque guidance, zakat, waqf, and other social worship. The service management application system at the religious affairs office of the Pasar Jambi sub-district will be able to provide answers on the data speed side. This service management system is made easier to use by all officers at the religious affairs office of the Pasar Jambi sub-district.

Abstract

The bookkeeping system is vital for managing a catering business, and incorporating design patterns in software development, specifically the Data Access Object (DAO) Pattern, can enhance structure, flexibility, and efficiency. This study focuses on implementing the DAO Pattern in the catering bookkeeping system to improve data management and overall system performance. Utilizing a software development framework, the DAO Pattern facilitates CRUD operations (Create, Read, Update, Delete) on entities, ensuring flexibility. Tests validate data integrity and proper DAO functions. The system test results through unit testing showed that 96% of the features that implemented DAO were successfully implemented. This demonstrates significant benefits, with improved data management structure and centralized changes. Implementing the DAO Pattern in catering's bookkeeping system ultimately enhances structured data management and overall system performance, providing insights for software developers working on similar business applications.

Abstract

The Ikhwan Shop provides goods and cellphone repair services, but the system that runs in the shop records incoming and outgoing goods, and the results of repair services are still done by writing in a hand-written shop logbook. Therefore, a management system, an application designed to cover all activities running in the store, is needed. The activities are selling pulses, snacks, office stationery, receiving damaged cellphone repairs, and serving consignment of supplier goods. The system is equipped with a calculation of net and gross income and data collection related to employee salaries. After managers, cashiers, and technicians tested and implemented the system, it was concluded that it followed the business processes running at the Ikhwan shop. The system testing results with Blackbox show that all system functions can run well, so management activities run more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Sign language is a form of communication that relies on body movements and facial expressions to interact, especially for deaf and hard-of-hearing people. The Indonesian Sign Language System (SIBI) is the official sign language in Indonesia. Until now, there is still a communication gap between deaf and hard-of-hearing people and normal people. The Computer Vision approach is expected to overcome the problem by developing a sign language recognition system. This research focuses on applying Deep Learning with the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method to detect hand gestures in SIBI alphabetic sign language and translate them. Hopefully, the results of this research can be the foundation for developing sign language recognition applications optimized specifically for SIBI. They can help people with disabilities and the general public communicate more effectively.

Abstract

Global Positioning System (GPS) and Internet of Things (IoT) technology significantly monitor livestock waste, which is vulnerable to environmental pollution. The potential for livestock waste is relatively high if a good and maximum management process is carried out. The role of GPS is to provide specific data, i.e., latitude and longitude points, where this position is essential to providing detailed data on the status of drainage and livestock waste originating and going to where. GPS data and its Mapping will be displayed on a smartphone's desktop and mobile-based graphic user interface. The role of IoT is to provide data in real-time with data taken from sensors installed in sanitation or drainage in the livestock area in the Bumiaji sub-district, Batu City. Furthermore, the monitoring points are located at several points in the Bumiaji sub-district, consisting of 9 livestock points located in one sub-district as a source or data source that will be sent via IoT devices and displayed on a map using GPS technology in real-time at the research location. The real-time monitoring results can be monitored through data provided by sensors, which will then be executed and handled directly to anticipate environmental pollution.

Abstract

Regular watering is a very important activity in plant maintenance because plants need water to carry out photosynthesis and obtain the nutrients necessary to grow and develop properly. An automatic watering tool has been designed that can perform watering commands remotely. This automatic watering instrument is achieved by using a soil moisture sensor to measure the water content or soil moisture and a DHT22 sensor that can detect air temperature and humidity. Soil moisture information is sent via Telegram, using the Telegram bot feature on this automatic plant watering tool, so that the tool can be controlled remotely. This plant monitoring can save time and energy and maintain plant quality more effectively. Plant conditions can also be checked periodically to ensure that the plant's water needs are being properly met. This automatic plant watering solution therefore has the potential to increase productivity and efficiency in case of irregular watering of the plants.

Abstract

A wide field of vision is required for autonomous electric vehicles to operate object-detecting systems. By identifying objects, it is possible to imbue the car with human intelligence, similar to that of a driver, so that it can recognize items and make decisions to prevent collisions with them. Using a 360-degree camera is a wonderful idea because it can record events surrounding the car in a single shot. Nevertheless, 360º cameras produce naturally skewed images. To make the image appear normal but have a bigger capture area, it is required to normalize it. In this study, NVIDIA Jetson Nano is used to construct software for 360-degree image normalization processing using Python. To process an image in real-time, first choose the image shape mapping that can give information about the entire item that the camera collected. Then, choose and apply the mapping. Using Python on an NVIDIA Jetson Nano, the author of this research has successfully processed 360-degree images for local and real-time video as well as image geometry modifications.

Abstract

The airport is a strategic place where it involves important activities, namely airplane flights. Airport activities are greatly influenced by the ongoing security within the airport. The thing that affects security in the airport is the possibility of crimes committed by unexpected visitors. The purpose of this research is to observe the airport area, especially airport visitors so that if there are visitors who have the potential to commit crimes, they can be detected properly and further investigation procedures can be carried out.  To be able to observe airport visitors and recognize patterns of visitor behavior that have the potential to commit crimes, an airport visitor gesture recognition system can be used. In this thesis, the gesture recognition of airport visitors is done with the multipose estimation method. This method can detect 17 key points on the human body that are used to detect the behavior of airport visitors who have the potential to commit crimes. To develop this system, deep learning algorithms that are currently developing with the help of TensorFlow and architectural models in multipose estimation, namely MobileNetV2, Feature Pyramid Network, and CenterNet, can be used. The experimental results show that the multipose estimation method can recognize human gestures well under several conditions such as the appropriate distance of the human object from the camera and the lighting conditions around the observed human object. It is also seen that from several scenarios, the crime gesture model can be recognized well.
