Abstract

Abstrak: Internet of Things (IoT) yakni benda-benda atau alat-alat yang cerdas yang dapat berguna untuk kehidupan manusia. IoT ini sangat mempengaruhi perkembangan teknologi yang amat pesat dalam kehidupan di era industri 4.0. Benda-benda yang “cerdas” karena pada benda tersebut telah dilengkapi dengan alat-alat teknologi sesuai dengan kebutuhan manusia. Inilah konsep pada Internet of Things yakni benda-benda yang cerdas dengan dilengkapi teknologi. Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) merupakan jenjang pendidikan yang tepat untuk mempersiapkan lebih awal terkait pengetahuan dan penerapan teknologi IoT. Dengan latar belakang perkembangan teknologi IoT yang amat pesat maka sangat dibutuhkan pengetahuan ini diberikan kepada siswa-siswa SMK N 3 Tegal untuk memberikan wacana dan pengetahuan tentang IoT dalam penerapannya di dunia industri 4.0 saat ini. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan kepada peserta pkm. Adapun materi pelatihan ini adalah Internet of Things dan Computer Vision. Pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan 2 tahap, yang pertama dalah pemaparan materi dan tahap selanjutnya adalah demontrasi produk yang mengimplementasikan Internet of Things dan Computer Vision. Dari 100 peserta siswa SMK N 3 yang ikut, 55 siswa tertarik untuk mendalami Internet of Things dan sisanya berminat untuk mengetahui lebih dalam lagi tentang materi Computer Vision. Dari post test dan pre test yang dilakukan, hasil penilaian bagus dengan rata-rata nilai post test 89. Hal ini menggambarkan tentang penyampaian materi yang telah ditransformsikan dengan baik oleh narasumber. Penilaian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hardskill di bidang Internet of Things dan Computer Vision, karena nilai post test cenderung mengalami kenaikan dari nilai pre test.Abstract: Internet of Things (IoT) are intelligent objects or tools that can be useful for human life. This IoT greatly affects the rapid development of technology in life in the industrial era 4.0. Objects that are "smart" because they have been equipped with technological tools in accordance with human needs. This is the concept of the Internet of Things, namely smart objects equipped with technology. Vocational High School (SMK) is the right level of education to prepare early related to knowledge and application of IoT technology. With the background of the very rapid development of IoT technology, it is very necessary that this knowledge be given to students of SMK N 3 Tegal to provide discourse and knowledge about IoT in its application in the current industrial 4.0 world. This service activity is carried out by providing training to PKM participants. The training materials are Internet of Things and Computer Vision. This training is carried out in 2 stages, the first is the presentation of the material and the next stage is a product demonstration that implements the Internet of Things and Computer Vision. Of the 100 participating SMK N 3 students, 55 students were interested in exploring the Internet of Things and the rest were interested in knowing more about Computer Vision material. From the post-test and pre-test conducted, the results of the assessment were good with an average post-test score of 89. This illustrates the delivery of material that has been well transformed by the resource persons. This assessment shows an increase in hard skills in the field of Internet of Things and Computer Vision, because the post test scores tend to increase from the pre test scores.

Abstract

ABSTRAK –Penggunaan bahan bakar gas seperti LPG umum digunakan untuk kebutuhan rumah tangga. Jenis LPG mudah terbakar, maka perlu hati-hati dalam instalasi dan penggunaannya. Seiring perkembangan teknologi dan untuk meminimalisir terjadinya kebocoran LPG, maka diperlukan alat yang mampu memproteksi kebocoran gas sebagai pememicu kebakaran yang bekerja otomatis. Alat proteksi dibangun menggunakan mikrokontroler berbasis arduino, sensor utama MQ2. Cara kerjanya sensor MQ2 akan mendeteksi LPG jika terjadi kebocoran, selanjutnya sensor mengirimkan sinyal ke mikrokontroler, dan mikrokontroler akan memberikan intruksi ke relay, di mana relay sebagai saklar otomatis untuk mengaktifkan sensor selenoid valve sehingga menutup aliran LPG, dengan demikian aliran LPG terhenti untuk memproteksi terjadinya kebakaran, disamping itu buzzer berbunyi sebagai notifikasi adanya kebocoran LPG. Dari hasil penelitian ini, MQ2 mendeteksi LPG dengan kadar 0 ppm sampai 1280 ppm dan LPG masih tersuplai, ketika kadar LPG terdeteksi antara 5240 ppm sampai 26464 ppm, suplai LPG terhenti karena selenoid valve menghambat aliran LPG tersebut.

Abstract

Abstrak: Internet of Things (IoT) merupakan salah satu paradigma teknologi yang dikembangkan dalam revolusi industri 4.0. Tujuan pengenalan dan pelatihan kendali robot remote control berbasis mikrokontroler pada siswa SMK Negeri 3 Kota Tegal guna meningkatkan hardskill, pengetahuan dan ketrampilan siswa dibidang kendali robot remote control. Metode pelaksanaan dengan diadakan workshop dan pelatihan tentang Internet of Things, komponen pembentuk IoT, Project kendali robot remote control dan demo kendali robot remote control. Kegiatan PKM ini dilakukan oleh 4 dosen dan 2 mahasiswa Prodi D3 Teknik Komputer, PKM ini diikuti 41 siswa dari jurusan permesinan dan jurusan elektro siswa SMK Negeri 3 Kota Tegal. Dalam mengikuti workshop dan pelatihan ini evaluasi untuk mengetahui siswa dalam mengetahui mengenai perkembangan teknologi IoT system kendali robot remote control berbasis mikrokontroler dilakukan post-test diakhir kegiatan PKM. Pada pelatihan ini peserta kegiatan mempunyai ilmu yang baru dan dapat mengetahui mengenai perkembangan teknologi khususnya penggunaan teknologi IoT, dimana hasil post-test yang didapat 98% siswa paham dalam mengikuti wokshop penguasaan teknologi IoT berbasis mikrokontroler guna meningkatkan softskill.Abstract: Internet of Things (IoT) is one of the technological paradigms developed in the industrial revolution 4.0. The purpose of the introduction and training of microcontroller-based remote control robot control for SMK Negeri 3 Tegal City students is to improve the hard skills, knowledge and skills of students in the field of remote control robot control. The method of implementation is by holding workshops and training on the Internet of Things, components that form IoT, remote control robot control projects and remote control robot control demos. This PKM activity was carried out by 4 lecturers and 2 students of D3 Computer Engineering Study Program, PKM was attended by 41 students from the machining department and electrical department of SMK Negeri 3 Tegal City. In participating in this workshop and training, an evaluation to find out students in knowing about the development of IoT technology microcontroller-based remote control robot control system was carried out post-test at the end of PKM activities. In this training, activity participants have new knowledge and can find out about technological developments, especially the use of IoT technology, where the post-test results obtained 98% of students understand in participating in the workshop on mastering microcontroller-based IoT technology to improve soft skills.

Abstract

A shopping cart is an assisting tool in the commercial area where its function is as a temporary container for selected shopping items before the items are counted and billed. The cart becomes an indispensable tool in supermarkets. The more shopping items there are, the more energy is needed to manually push or pull the cart. This is considered not very effective in supporting consumer productivity in finding and fulfilling their needs. The aim of this research is to create a smart cart used in supermarkets, thus facilitating users in carrying shopping items. The design of the smart cart combines hardware and software. Arduino Uno serves as the main component with object detection around it using the HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor and Bluetooth Module as the link between the cart and Smartphone. The cart is controlled by a smartphone using Bluetooth as the connection within a maximum range of 7m, powered by 4 DC motors and a 12V DC Battery. The maximum load capacity of this cart is 2,5 Kg. The cart's ability to detect objects is limited to a distance of <20 cm.

Abstract

The septic tank is a temporary waste disposal site, designed to be closed, there are two holes to drain the reservoir and another hole for evaporation. Septic tanks produce hazardous gases, for example sewer gas, have a pungent odor and are flammable, if the concentration is high, causing poisoning if inhaled, if in a closed room and there is a source of fire, it can trigger an explosion. Therefore, an automation tool is needed as a warning system for the volume of the septic tank and to neutralize the sewer gas level, which has been equipped with solar panels as battery chargers embedded in it. This tool consists of HC-SR04 to measure the remaining volume capacity, MQ2 detects and measures sewer gas levels, a fan to neutralize sewer gas, a buzzer for warning. From the results of this study, the HC-SR04 detects the remaining volume from 28% to 2%, meaning that the volume of the septic tank increases, so the buzzer is active as a notification. Furthermore, MQ2 detects gas concentrations from 2ppm to 64ppm, meaning that the gas concentration increases beyond the safe limit, which is 30ppm, causing the fan to work to neutralize sewer gas levels.

Abstract

Households are the largest contributor to waste, various types of waste are generated, ranging from organic, non-organic waste and so on. If each household produces 2 kg of waste every day, and the waste is immediately disposed of in a temporary landfill (TPS), then a very large amount of waste is buried in the TPS. Therefore, a tool is needed that functions to process waste that can be recycled into compost, namely waste or food waste classified as organic waste. The tool in question consists of a nema 17 stepper motor as a cutter and stirrer for garbage to mix with the soil, a YL-69 sensor as a soil moisture detector, a DS18B20 sensor as a soil temperature detector and two mini pumps as a water supply and EM4. From the results of this study, YL-69 detects soil moisture of 17% to 86%, meaning that soil moisture increases, so the stepper will be active to stir the soil and organic waste. Furthermore, DS18B20 detects soil temperatures of 25°C to 34°C, meaning that when the temperature is between 30°C to 34°C, the composting process takes place, the water supply and EM4 stop automatically. Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin cepat maka sangat mempengaruhi pula segala aspek kehidupan, terutama segi pendidikan. Pendidikan dengan model pembelajaran yang variatif akan sangat mempengaruhi hasil dari pendidikan tersebut. Pembelajaran dengan model praktikum akan mudah dipahami dan diikuti oleh peserta didik, apalagi terkait pembelajaran teknis yang mengharuskan menggunakan alat, pasti akan sangat diminati oleh peserta didik. Pembelajaran praktikum yang menggunakan alat secara langsung memang akan terasa berat saat dituntut untuk melakukan pengadaan atau belanja alat-alat praktikum yang harganya tidak murah, maka dari itu penggunaan aplikasi wokwi berbasis virtual sangat dibutuhkan untuk menanggulangi kesulitan-kesulitan pengadaan alat praktikum demi pembelajaran berbasis praktikum tetap dapat berjalan dengan baik dan optimal. Setelah kegiatan pelatihan penggunaan wokwi telah dilaksanakan di SMK Dinamika Tegal, di mana kegiatan tersebut diikuti oleh 23 siswa, dan dari kegiatan tersebut didapatkan testimoni sebesar 68,8% peserta sangat mudah memahami, 31,2% mudah memahami dan tidak ada peserta yang merasa sulit dalam memahami penggunaan wokwi.

Abstract

Bukhur merupakan perpaduan dari banyak tanaman atau tanaman tradisional yang terkenal dengan kualitas aromatiknya, termasuk namun tidak terbatas pada gaharu, kayu cendana, dan minyak unik. Pada penelitian ini digunakan metode waterfall dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan sistem, desain sistem, pengkodean program, uji coba program, implementasi sistem, dan pemeliharaan sistem. Penelitian ini telah menghasilkan sebuah alat penabur bukhur otomatis yang bertujuan untuk mempermudah pengguna dalam menjaga aroma ruangan tetap segar dan harum tanpa perlu melakukan penyalaan manual secara terus-menerus, sehingga sangat ideal untuk digunakan di rumah, madrasah, atau masjid. Alat penabur bukhur otomatis ini dilengkapi dengan komponen utama seperti NodeMCU ESP8266, motor servo, dan sensor MQ-2. Pengendali mikro diprogram untuk mengontrol pemanas filamen, yang akan membakar bukhur dan mengeluarkan aromanya secara teratur. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa alat ini menggunakan motor servo yang membuka setiap 3 menit sekali. Sensor MQ-2 akan mendeteksi nilai asap; ketika nilai asap 750, bukhur akan jatuh, dan ketika nilai asap 750, bukhur tidak akan jatuh dan motor servo tetap menutup meskipun sudah 3 menit. Alat penabur bukhur otomatis ini dikendalikan oleh smartphone Android, yang menyediakan sistem kontrol dan monitoring yang mudah digunakan. Dengan demikian, perangkat tidak hanya meningkatkan kenyamanan pengguna tetapi juga memastikan bahwa aroma bukhur tersebar secara optimal dan teratur.

Abstract

Background: The development of microcontrollers in the industrial world is progressing rapidly. However, students, as one of the successors of technological advancement, still lack knowledge related to microcontroller-based technology. Therefore, it is essential to introduce this technology to students, especially at SMK NU 1 Islamiyah Kramat, to help them understand and expand their knowledge of microcontroller-based technology as an effort to enhance their hard skills in the field of electronic engineering. Methods: This community service activity (PKM) was conducted at SMK NU 1 Islamiyah Kramat and involved 29 students from grades X and XI in the Computer and Network Engineering department. The PKM implementation team from Poltek Harber consisted of 4 lecturers and 2 students from the D-III Computer Engineering program. The PKM activity began with a presentation on microcontroller-related materials, followed by training and hands-on practice in creating a temperature measurement project, as well as pre-tests and post-tests. Results: After the PKM activity was conducted and evaluated, there was an improvement in students' understanding of using and creating microcontroller-based projects. This was evident from the pre-test and post-test results, where the high-category pre-test score increased from 61,1% to 79,8%, reflecting a 18,7% improvement. Conclusions: From the PKM activity conducted at SMK NU 1 Islamiyah Kramat, it can be concluded that efforts to enhance students' hard skills in understanding and practicing microcontroller-based technology have been optimal. This conclusion is supported by the pre-test and post-test results, which showed a significant 18,7% improvement.
