One aspect of the concept of building design development is interior design. The accuracy of the placement of interior materials is very important for (SMK) students majoring in Building Drawing Engineering. However, it may be difficult to present and organize material in real life. This barrier can be caused by a lack of materials or the ability to see objects from multiple angles. To realize the Vocational Center of Excellence and SMK Bisa programs, augmented reality technology is present as a solution in vocational education. Augmented reality is a technology that allows virtual things to be placed in the real world. The reason for choosing this research topic is that users can interact with virtual things in an augmented reality environment providing them with hands-on experiences. Objects that are displayed in the form of interior materials can be in 3D so that they look as close as possible to the original object. Users can interact and change the location of interior materials directly and realistically using augmented reality applications. The method used in this research is the Lee & Owens Development Model starting from Assessment/analysis, Need assessment, front-end analysis, design, development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The application developed only includes some interior design materials, Design markers have a high level of augmentability, so users will be able to immediately see a 3D model when the marker is scanned, The application has been tested on several smartphones and the results are successful

Soil moisture plays a major role in agricultural yield, hydrological, and environmental monitoring studies. Soil-moisture’s accurate estimation is important for successfully improving crop yield efficiently using agricultural resources and effectively managing water resources. The current article aims to list different approaches to estimating soil moisture such as using microwave, radar, and sensor-based methods of electronic and communication engineering and also IoT-based methods from computer engineering fields to find the journey of use of state-of-the-art technology methods for measuring soil moisture. Out of the mentioned methods, Sensor & IoT-based method is playing a vital role and is currently being used in advanced countries. Therefore this research is focused on experimenting the water flow control and measurement of soil moisture using sensors on micro-controller-based prototypes. Experiments showed that it is feasible to estimate the requirement of water more accurately than traditional methods. Thus more water savings can be benefited.

This research aims to design and simulate a network security system using port knocking and an intrusion prevention system (IPS) on a Linux-based server and analyze its security using port scanning, brute force, and DoS attacks. IPS uses inline snort mode with DAQ NFQ. The test results show that port knocking successfully opens and closes the port according to the knock sequence so that only those who know the knock sequence can access the port. The port scanning, SSH, and FTP Brute Force test results were successfully detected by IPS so that the attacker could not obtain any information. DoS testing with LOIC increased server CPU and memory usage, but after IPS rules were applied, usage stabilized. DoS testing with slowhttptest makes the webserver inaccessible to users, but after the IPS rule is applied, web access runs normally. In conclusion, IPS was successful in preventing all attacks because the attack packets complied with IPS rules so they were detected as threats and dropped by IPS. Test results of the Telegram monitoring system show that the system succeeded in sending real-time attack notifications with an average time difference of 2.9 seconds, and the report, start, and stop features worked as expected.

A tsunami is a large sea wave caused by an earthquake or underwater landslide. Timely detection of tsunamis is critical to saving lives and minimizing damage to infrastructure. Radar has proven to be an effective tool for tsunami detection. This comprehensive review discusses the use of radar for tsunami detection. The two types of radar discussed are HF (High Frequency) radar and DART (Deep ocean Assessment and Reporting of Tsunamis) radar. HF radar can detect tsunamis from long distances in real-time. However, HF radar is susceptible to electromagnetic interference. The DART radar is specifically designed for deep sea tsunami detection. This radar provides real-time information about tsunami waves. However, the DART radar requires expensive marine infrastructure to install and operate. This review concludes that HF radar and DART radar have their respective advantages and disadvantages. The combination of both types of radar can provide a more comprehensive solution for tsunami detection. Further research is needed to improve the reliability of radar-based tsunami detection systems.

This research focuses on improving internet connection stability at the Network Laboratory of JTIK, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Makassar. The study aims to address the challenges of disruptions and instability frequently faced by users of Telkom WiFi in the laboratory, causing significant disruptions in internet activities. This instability is exacerbated by simultaneous internet usage, leading to network overload and bandwidth competition among users, ultimately reducing the overall network performance. As a solution, the research proposes the implementation of a network system that integrates Telkom ISP and 3 LTE using the PCC method. The system is equipped with a failover mechanism that automatically redirects the network connection to the active ISP when issues are detected. Additionally, the research categorizes users into admin lecturers and students, imposing bandwidth limitations specifically for students to prevent excessive network traffic. Three in-depth testing scenarios were conducted, demonstrating that the system smoothly redirects internet connections to the active ISP during issues, ensuring uninterrupted and effective internet access for users.

Manual egg hatching still requires time and human labor every day to regulate temperature, adjust humidity, and turn the eggs. This egg hatcher works using solar panels as an alternative energy source. This study aims to design and determine the results of the effectiveness of testing the hybrid electrical interchange system on IoT-based egg hatchers. The research method used is the R&D method. Based on the results of the research, switching energy sources is declared valid because the tools and applications are integrated. The average voltage difference in the battery in charging condition by turning on the tool is -0.01 Volts, proving that even though it is in charging condition when the tool is turned on, the voltage in the battery will still decrease. The measurement results of the average daily energy demand on the hatchery by applying a hybrid electrical interchange system is 0.142 kWh and without applying the system 0.163 kWh, proving by applying a hybrid electrical interchange system device more efficient use of PLN electricity due to assistance from PLTS. On-off automation of lights and fans can keep the temperature at an ideal state of 37°C-39°C, thus affecting the egg-hatching process. On-off automation using a relay connected to a mist maker also affects keeping humidity at 55%-65% humidity, humidity also affects the egg-hatching process, where the success rate in hatching eggs is maximized. Based on the results of tests carried out by the hybrid electrical interchange system on IoT-based egg hatchers, it can be concluded that this tool can maintain the stability of temperature and humidity automatically in egg hatchers well until the eggs hatch.

This study investigates the development and evaluation of an Android-based security system for residential areas, focusing on entrance and exit gate control. Recognizing the limitations of existing systems, we propose an "IoT-based Fingerprint Security Village" application. The system utilizes a prototype development model informed by data collected through interviews, questionnaires, and observations. The application allows residents to monitor and access gates using fingerprint scanners, enhancing security and convenience. To ensure quality, the system underwent rigorous testing based on the ISO 25010 software testing standard. Testing encompassed five key aspects, Functional Suitability: The application achieved a perfect score, indicating it flawlessly performs its intended functions. Portability: The application successfully functioned on all 14 tested Android devices. Performance Efficiency: CPU usage remained exceptionally low (average 0.1%, max 5.5%), and memory usage (average 58.2 MB, max 86.5 MB) demonstrated efficient resource utilization. Security: Testing revealed a low-medium security risk, highlighting areas for potential improvement. Usability: The user-friendliness test yielded a very high score (92%), placing it in the "Very Feasible" category. These results confirm that the "IoT-based Fingerprint Security Village" application effectively meets all evaluated aspects of the chosen software testing standard.

The development of science in the field of robotics has made many heavy jobs that cannot be done by humans replaced by robots, especially in the factory industry. In modern factories, most of them have a warehouse or similar facility that contains heavy equipment for use in a factory, for example, forklift heavy equipment. Based on an interview with one of the forklift operators, the problem of using forklifts is usually when there are items that must be moved that cannot be lifted by humans which must be done immediately according to the route where the item is stored. To answer the existing problems, a robot prototype was made which is useful to help facilitate the work of factory workers. This robot prototype was built using the User Centered Design (UCD) method. This robot prototype uses the main components of Arduino UNO, L293D Motor Driver, and PWM Servo Motor Driver. Based on the overall testing that has been done, it can be said that the robot prototype can follow the route according to the program and can lift and remove objects in front of it with a score of 80%. So that workers can be helped to facilitate their work.

In this modern era, the existence and usefulness of websites have become an undeniable necessity. The internet has set the stage for websites to become a vital tool in various aspects of life, not only as a means of disseminating information but also as a platform for improving efficiency and economic growth. However, various problems often occur to website users, the lack of notification or feedback after users act. And the lack of information updates. For example on the Website of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of West Lombok Regency web. This website still does not use two-way communication commonly called two-way communication, so some problems might arise such as a lack of ability to receive direct feedback from users, and website owners lose the opportunity to understand user needs. To overcome the above problems, the author conducted website usability research using the Heuristic Evaluation Method and the Webuse Method. To improve website usability regarding information services for users. And with the results of the PUPR Office website has shortcomings in providing information updates in the form of announcements and various other information. and the lack of an attractive appearance on the website menu. Therefore, researchers provide recommendations for improvement in providing information to users of the website of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of West Lombok Regency.

The rapid development of bus transportation has a significant impact on the selection of bus companies, especially travel services. Nuansa Utama Tour, a travel service agency, still uses conventional methods in selecting a Bus Company, requiring more time and process. Each Bus Company has its characteristics, so it requires a decision-weighing method that is easy to understand. This research aims to build a system that helps travel owners choose Bus Company recommendations according to the conditions and criteria needed. This system uses the Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method to determine the best Bus Company based on various criteria needed. The system development process uses the waterfall method to facilitate systematic design with the simplest possible design and the data used is taken from case study needs through the interview process so that as a result of this system, travel owners get the most Bus Company recommendations according to their needs and the best ranking, and facilitate decision making with a more flexible time before use.
