Abstract

The endurance and agility of soccer in a soccer player are factors in supporting the game of soccer. Increasing endurance and agility can be done by training according to a predetermined program. However, since the Covid-19 pandemic, training is only done once a week and not even once a week. This can affect the endurance and agility of players. Based on the research problems, they are: 1) What is the endurance condition of the students of football school Bintang Muda Wolo (BMW) during the covid 19 pandemic? 2) How is the agility level of the football school Wolo Bintang Muda (BMW) during the covid 19 pandemic? This type of research is descriptive research. The research method uses a survey method with data collection techniques in the form of tests and measurements. The population is 42 students of SSB Bintang Muda Wolo, aged 13-15 in 2021. Sampling uses a purposive sampling technique with a sample of 15 students. The instrument used is an agility test using the Illinois agility run test and an endurance level test using a 1000 m run test. The results of the research and analysis showed that the level of endurance was 0% in the very good category, 2 students or 13% in the good category, 6 students or 40% in the sufficient category, 5 students or 33% in the poor category, and 2 or 13% in the very poor category. And the agility level is 0% in the very good category, 4 students or 27% in good condition, 7 students or 47% in the sufficient category, 1 student or 7% in poor condition, and 3 students or 20% of them in very poor condition. The conclusion in this study is that the level of endurance and agility of SSB Bintang Muda Wolo students is sufficient. Therefore, coaches must be able to improve their abilities despite the COVID-19 pandemic by controlling online training.

Abstract

Type 2 diabetes is a hyperglycemic disease caused by cell insensitivity due to increasing blood glucose levels due to reduced insulin secretion. Hyperglycemia conditions have the risk to increase triglyceride levels in type 2 diabetes. Edamame milk contained isoflavones that had potential to reduce triglyceride level. To find out the effect of given edamame milk on triglyceride levels in type 2 diabetes wistar rats. A true experimental with pre-post randomized control group design towards 24 type 2 diabetes wistar rats in 4 groups. Groups K(+), P1 and P2 were induced Streptozotocin 45 mg/kgBW and Nicotinamide 110 mg/kgBW. P1 and P2 groups were given edamame milk at a dose of 1,8 ml/200grBW and 3,6 ml/200grBW for 28 days. Blood samples were taken through a retro-orbitalis plexus. Triglyceride levels were tested pre and post intervention using the GPO-PAP method. Data analysis had used Paired T test and One Way ANOVA test with Post hoc follow-up test. Triglyceride levels in P1 and P2 groups had significant differences (p<0,05) against the control groups. Edamame milk could reduce triglyceride levels of groups P1 and P2 at dose 1,8 ml/200grBW and 3,6 ml/200grBW. P2 was the highest group reduced in triglyceride levels up to 29,41±3,55 mg/dL. Edamame milk could reduced triglycerides levels in 28 days. Given an edamame milk at a dose 3,6 ml/200grBW more efficient to reduce triglyceride levels in type 2 diabestes rats significantly

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the level of categories of students' social behaviour and the relationship between extracurricular activities and students' social behaviour. This study is an experimental quantitative study employing a pre-experimental design. The sample in this study was 156 students in grades VII-IX of junior high school. Data collection was carried out through a social behaviour test questionnaire sheet. The data was processed using the Correlation Test. The results indicate that (1) The highest level of student social behaviour is in the mediocre category at 55%, while the high category is 31%, and 14% is in the low category, (2) there is a strong correlation between extracurricular activities and students' social behaviour, with a coefficient of 0.848. The correlation coefficient demonstrates the close association between sport extracurricular activities and the social behaviour of students. This study concludes that the introduction of sports extracurricular activities substantially impacts students' social conduct. This is because all forms of extracurricular activities are cooperative training, which includes peer interaction, training activities, organizational activities, preparation for events, and participation in competitions or competitions that influence the development of positive character traits in students. It is intended that this research will have consequences for enhancing the development of extracurricular activities in schools so that they not only influence the pleasant social conduct of students but also produce exceptional seeds, which are the hope for Indonesia's future accomplishments.

Abstract

Hamstring muscle injuries often occur in athletes, especially in soccer, athletes who are injured on average experience pain in their muscles. Therefore, proper treatment can speed up the rehabilitation process for hamstring muscle injuries in the form of exercise therapy, electrical therapy, and heat therapy. This type of research is a quantitative experiment. Data collection techniques using Numeric Rating Scale sheet. Using purposive sampling which collected 30 people, namely soccer athletes from Safin Pati Football Academy aged 12-16 years. The data analysis technique used nonparametric statistical tests because the data distribution was not normal, namely using the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study obtained the lowest value for the calculation of the Numeric Rating Scale pretest was 3 and the highest value was 6 with an average of 4.7. The lowest value of the post-test Numeric Rating Scale calculation is 1 and the highest value is 3 with an average of 1.8. In the analysis test with the Wilcoxon test, a P-value of 0.000 was obtained. It can be said that p < 0.05 which means that there is a difference in meaning between the calculation of the Numeric Rating Scale pretest and posttest or Ha is accepted. Conclusions from the results of research and discussion, it can be said that exercise therapy, electrical therapy, and heat therapy affect hamstring injuries in soccer athletes at the Safin Pati Football Academy.

Abstract

The background of the problem is that there are many influencing factors, one of which is the compatibility of the body type somatotype and BMI that supports the sport involved. In order to get maximum performance, a condition is needed for players who have good physical abilities, techniques, and tactics and are supported by good somatotype conditions. This type of research is quantitative. One dependent variable is the heading ability of a soccer athlete, and two independent variables, namely somatotype and body mass index. The sample of this study were all football athletes from the Senopati club. Data research instruments used BMI measurement tests, anthropometry tests, and heading ability tests. The results of this study are that there is a good relationship between somatotype and the heading ability of soccer athletes, and there is a good relationship between body mass index and the heading ability of soccer athletes. The percentage is very good 50%, good 45%, and very bad 5%. The conclusion from the research results is that there is a good relationship between somatotype and the heading ability of soccer athletes, and there is a good relationship between body mass index and the heading abilities of soccer athletes.

Abstract

Examination of the sedimentation rate (ESR) and C-reactive protein (CRP) is recommended as an initial examination in patients suspected of having symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. Brisk walking is a form of moderate activity aerobic exercise using fast walking techniques for 20-30 minutes with an average speed of 4-6 km/hour. This training model is effective enough to increase the maximum capacity of the heart rate, stimulate muscle contraction, breakdown of glycogen and increase tissue oxygen. The method in this study was a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test – post-test group design without a control group. The sample in this research is 10 respondents. The data collection used was in the form of pre-test and post-test data using data analysis techniques using the independent sample t test and processed using the SPSS application version 20. The results showed 1) There was a significant effect between giving brisk walking exercise to ESR levels (mm/h) in elderly women with rheumatoid arthritis symptoms from the t-test results that the value of P <0.05. 2) There is a significant effect between giving brisk walking exercises on CRP (mg/L) levels in elderly women with rheumatoid arthritis symptoms, this can be seen from the results of the t-test that the value of P <0.05. 3) There is a significant effect between giving brisk walking exercise to ESR levels (mm/h) and CRP levels in elderly women with rheumatoid arthritis symptoms, this can be seen from the results of the t-test that both P <0.05.
