This study aims to see a comparison of rice food price trends during the COVID-19 pandemic on the island of Sumatra. This research was deliberately conducted on the island of Sumatra, which consists of 10 provinces as research samples. The research method uses historical methods that occur today. Using secondary time series data (times series) from monthly report data from March 2020 to February 2021. The data analysis method uses the trend equation with the least squares method. The results of the research study, namely the island of Sumatra with 10 provinces, only the Riau Islands where there was an increase in rice prices of Rp. 150. In three provinces, the price of rice fell by more than 50 percent, namely Riau, Bengkulu and Lampung. Meanwhile, Aceh, North Sumatra, West Sumatra, Jambi, South Sumatra and Bangka Islands experienced price declines. And the trend of rice food prices for the next five years will continue to increase. Accelerating the dissemination of several new high-yielding varieties of Inpari through assessments needs to be carried out in the province of South Sumatra. The study aims to determine the yield performance of Inpari 15, Inpari 20, Inpari 22, and Ciherang varieties and to determine the contribution of yield components to yield. The assessment was carried out in May-September 2015 in Musi Rawas Regency (MURA), South Sumatra. The introduced varieties were Inpari 15, Inpari 20, Inpari 22, and the existing farmer varieties (Ciherang). Urea, SP 36, KCl, and manure were used 250, 150, 150 and 500 kg/ha. The variables observed were plant height, number of productive tillers/clumps, length of panicle, number of filled grain/panicle, the weight of 1000 grains, and yield/ha. The results of the study showed that the yields of Inpari 15 (6.48 t/ha), Inpari 20 (7.30 t/ha), Inpari 22 (7.52 t/ha, Ciherang (5.48 t/ha). The yield of Inpari was 18.25-37.23% higher than that of the Ciherang variety. The superiority of the Inpari yield was supported by the number of productive tillers/clumps and the number of grain/panicles which were more than Ciherang. Inpari 15, Inpari 20, and Inpari 22 have the potential to be developed in the MURA Regencyto replace the Ciherang variety.Keyword: Inbred, Paddy, Irrigated Rice

Farmer household as other household in general has done many economic activity to earn income. Household income comes from branch of business, farming and non farming. The aim of this research was to analyze income contribution of rubber farming toward farming household at Muara Beliti District of Musi Rawas Regency.Research methode was survey. From 838 farmer’s family, 41 sampling has choosen with Proportionate Stratified Random Samplingbased on land area. The result of this research shows that income contribution from rubber farming toward household income of rubber farmer at Muara BelitiDistrict Musi Rawas Regency as much as 55,38 percent, means high category. Meanwhile income contribution from non rubber farming as much as 4,44 percent(very low) and contribution from non farming as much as 40,18 percentalso in low category.Key Words: Contribution, Household, Rubber Farmer

Revenue Analysis, and welfare level of cabbage farmer household in Tanjung Kari Village, Beringin Island, South OKU Regency. With a time of two months from September to November 2017. Sampling method used in this study is simple Random Sampling simple random method, specified is a particular sampling system at random and each has the same number of samples. With homogeneity of 1 Hectares land sample. The research method used in this research is survey method. The type of data used in this study includes primary data and secondary data. To analyze the level of welfare of Cabbage Household Households used Mathematical and Tabulation calculations with BPS Susenas (2014) indicator. Total Average Revenue of Cabbage Farmer's Family in Desa Tanjung Kari District of Beringin Island of South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency amounting to Rp 5,560,000 planting season, Average household expenditure of cabbage farmer in Tanjung Kari Village, Beringin Island, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency Rp 3,035,750 planting permits. This study aimed to the analysis of mujair fish industry with Keramba Jaring Apung model in Warkuk Ranau Selatan, Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan of Regency. The location is determined by purposive. Proportionated Stratified Random Sampling as the sample method, take 25 samples of 81 samples of South warkuk Ranau. The result showed that corn farming income is Rp 148.459.460 per year. From risk analysis,the study finds that corn farming will not face risk significantly, which is indicated by the coefficient of variation of 0,0892004791 with a lower limit value of the income is Rp 121.974.150,081. The diversification discussed is related to the diversity of farmers' income sources, which is essentially a diterminant of agricultural diversity or called diversification of farms. One of the selected plantation commodities is coffee, because coffee is one of the plantation products that have high economic value. Galang Tinggi is the village that the majority of its work as the largest coffee farmers compared with the villages in mekakau ilir district, coffee cultivated in Galang Tinggi Village is Robusta coffee varieties where coffee is the main source of income for farmers, but the coffee in the farm the community is so old that the coffee production has been reduced to meet the needs of the family then the coffee farmers do other work than coffee ie rice and pepper farming, or better known as the diversification of farming (coffee-rice and coffee-pepper) This study aims to analyze income and analyze the profit using R/C ratio on diversification of farmer I and farming diversification II, The result of analysis shows the average of farmer earnings in the first farming diversification of Rp. 49,584,485 / Kg / Ha / yr. on diversification of farming II Rp.50,380,235 / Kg / ha / yr. And result of analysis of R / C ratio value that ratio of total revenue with total expenditure cost used to see farm profit in Galang Tinggi Village Mekakau Ilir Subdistrict. shows the results of diversification of farming I of 8.53 rupiah, and on diversification II 9 rupiah farming so that farmers who diversify farms I and II is said to be profitableKeywords: Diversification, Farmers, Income, Profit

Analysis of changes in wetland area and the factors that influence it in South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. The purpose of this research is to analyze the change of rice field in South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. Analyzing the factors affecting changes in wetland area in South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. The analytical method used is quantitative analysis and supported by qualitative descriptive analysis. To answer the first purpose used mathematical calculations and to answer the second goal used multiple regression analysis.Based on the result of the research, it is concluded that the change of rice field in South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency decreased from year to year with the decreasing rate of 0,929% per year and the factors that have significant effect on the change of land area are the PDRB of agriculture sector, population, and long way.Keyword: Analysis, changes in wetland area, change factor of rice field

This research is done to know the correlation or fluctuation between price and climate to cabbage area in South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, based on the problem that is how repon of cabbage farmers to price fluctuation and climate in OKUS Regency with the aim of providing information in the management of cabbage farming and provide optimal results. Research conducted in the District Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan election research location done intentionally. The method used is descriptive method, that is the method used for research type using data sekinder. With the object in question is the relationship of price fluctuations and climate with the response of farmers in cultivating cabbage. Type of data taken using secondary data (time series). The results of this study are as follows (1) Cabbage value coefficient value of independent variables in the form of cabbage prices (x1) of -2.628. This means that an increase in cabbage prices of 1 rupiah will decrease the cultivation of cultivation in OKUS Regency of 2,628 ha. With the price of cabbage significant at = 0.05 or a confidence level of 95%. (2) Rainfall coefficient value of independent variables in the form of rainfall (x2) of -2.525. This means that if rainfall rises 1 melimeter then farmers will reduce the area of cultivation in OKUS regency amounted to 2,525 ha. with significant rainfall at = 0.05 or 95% confidence level. From the results of this study can be concluded that the price (x1) and rainfall (x2) significant to cabbage planting area. Analysis of household food security level of rainfed lowland rice farmer in Penggendan Village District of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency is the largest food crop in Pengandonan sub district and majority of farmers in farming district are rice farmers. So that the rice crop in the village of production is the highest production. Rice-fed rice paddies are rice fields that only get water from rain water. Rainfed rice fields are usually in the rice field in the rainy season Ogan Komering Ulu District has a very large potential in agriculture in general food crops, especially that can be developed. Starfruit has become one of new sourch of economic growth in rural area. One of starfruit farming can be found atTugumulyo District Musi Rawas Regency. The production of starfruit farming at Tugumulyo in 2018 reach value at 429 kuintal from 214 starfruit tree. The purpose of this research was analize the finansial feasibility of starfruit farming at Tugumulyo District Musi Rawas Regency. This research methode was cases study with location choosen purposively. Based on this research we know that starfruit farming feasible with NVP at 862.125.159, IRR 25 % B/C 4,83, and payback periode 4,07. Keyword: farming, feasibility study, starfruit
