Abstract

This research aims to investigate the implementation of differential analysis in ultra-micro manufacturing businesses. The literature shows the role of differential analysis in cost allocation decisions. Consideration of costs and benefits to be gained becomes the main focus when conducting differential analysis. This research was conducted with a qualitative method. This research shows that management has not applied differential analysis in calculating the cost of goods manufactured for special orders. The differential analysis plays an important role especially in the decision-making to accept or reject special orders. This research shows that the proposed alternatives can accept special orders as long as the production capacity is adequate. The research findings indicate that based on the results of the differential analysis, management should choose an alternative to buying raw materials because it is more profitable than producing them yourself. Managers should start applying differential cost analysis so that special orders can be used as an alternative to increasing company profits.

Abstract

This paper aims to investigate the mediating impact of occupational stress on the association of workplace violence and staff performance. This association was assessed through theoretical lenses and then verified through empirical evidence. This study is based on quantitative research using a survey instrument for data collection. Data was collected from 242 academic employees working in the public sector commerce and management sciences colleges in five big cities of Peshawar, Abbottabad, Mardan, Swat, and Noshehra in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This study applied Andrew F. Hayes PROCESS v3.4 to conduct mediation analysis in IBM SPSS 23. The statistical results reveal that occupational stress partially mediates the association between workplace violence and staff performance. The proposed framework sheds light on how occupational stress increases workplace violence's impact on staff performance. Thus, this study is the first of its kind to quantify the level of occupational stress in the association between workplace violence and staff performance of academic employees. The current study's findings benefit educationists, principals, administrators, and policymakers owing to educational developments.

Abstract

This study seeks to ascertain the effects of funding choices, investment decisions, and inflation rates on firm value in manufacturing firms in the basic and chemical industries listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. In this study, a purposive sample of 10 basic industrial and chemical manufacturing firms was used. With the aid of SPSS 25.0 software for Windows, the analysis used in this study included descriptive statistical analysis, linearity testing, normality testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis testing, correlation coefficient testing, determination (), and hypothesis testing. In contrast to funding decisions, which are shown to have a considerable impact on firm value by independent variables, the results reveal that investment decisions and inflation rates have no significant impact on firm value. Simultaneously investment decisions, funding decisions, and inflation rates have a significant effect on firm value in the basic and chemical industry sectors listed on the IDX.
