Abstract

The persistence of Legong Ratu Dedari Dance in Ketewel Village is very well known as a classical Balinese dance group that has very complex movements and the accompanying percussion is the influence of Gambuh. In its preservation, the uniqueness of this dance can be seen in its very sacred performances and wearing masks during its performance. The purpose of this research is to find out how the development process of Legong Ratu Dedari Dance in the Globalization Era. The results of the study explain the persistence of the Legong Ratu Dedari dance, which is a sacred and unique type of dance because there are several angel masks that are characteristic of classical dance in Ketewel Village. The Legong Ratu Dedari dance is the most famous legong dance before the creation of other legong dances in Bali. As for the development of the Legong Ratu Dedari Dance, there is a special social organization formed by Ketewel Village, namely the Indra Parwati Organization. The organization was formed from a group of young people and girls in Ketewel Village, as a special organization in preserving and maintaining the sustainability of the Legong Ratu Dedari Dance. Indra Parwati's organization educates and looks for a girl who is not menstruating so that she can dance the legong dance. In this effort, it can save and preserve the typical culture of Ketewel Village to become more developed and beneficial for the welfare of the Ketewel Village community.

Abstract

Rite tae loas is a form of a rite of human life cycle in the community of Wangkung village, East Manggarai Regency, NTT. Local people believe that the rite of tae loas related to the life philosophy of Manggarai community especially Wangkung village, namely lampek lima. Lampek believed to be the life cycle of Manggarai people since mankind was born into the world until finally died. The research aims to find out: (1) tae loas Rite procession in Wangkung village and (2) the function and meaning of tae loas rite in Wangkung village. Research using qualitative descriptive methods, including data collection with participatory observation, in-depth interviews, library studies and data analysis. The results of the society conducted tae loas Judging from determining the time of ceremony, place of ceremony, the person involved in the ceremony, and the phases of the procedure. Rite Tae Loas carried out the community of Wangkung village has a function and meaning for the life of its people. Tae loas rite function, namely tae loas rites as the inaugural ceremony and the appointment of baby in a rummy, become a member of indigenous peoples, to determine the identity of infants and community solidarity. The meaning of the rite tae loas, namely religious significance, kinship meaning and educational significance.

Abstract

Tegal Deso is a ceremony that aims as an expression of human gratitude for God who has provided sustenance and asks for safety in order to avoid calamities that can threaten the welfare of the local community. Tegal deso is held by the people of Bongso Wetan Hamlet once a year, which is a multicultural community, namely 376 families of Muslims and 223 of Hindus. Trust in dhanyang sing mbaurekso deso is a central point in organizing the Tegal Deso ceremony. For this reason, this research was conducted to determine how the implementation process and function of the Tegal Deso ceremony in order to integrate the people of Bongso Wetan Hamlet. This research approach uses descriptive qualitative. This research is expected to reveal facts that occur in the field from various existing events and phenomena.

Abstract

Cunca Rami is one of the interesting tourist destinations that are currently getting the attention of the local government. The purpose of this study was to analyze the participation of the people of Golo Ndaring Village in the Development of Ecotourism in Cunca Rami Waterfall. The formulation of the problems in this study include (1) How Community Participation in the Development of Ecotourism Cunca Rami Waterfall; (2) What factors influence community participation in the development of Cunca Rami Waterfall Ecotourism; (3) What are the implications of community participation in the development of Cunca Rami Waterfall Ecotourism.This research uses participation theory and tourism impact theory. The analysis used is descriptive qualitative. The research was conducted using the participatory observation method, the writer as a researcher lives in the context of his community. The author also participates in community activities carried out by local residents. Data collection was carried out by in-depth interview method in order to obtain actual data. The results of the study concluded that there was the participation and involvement of the village community of Golo Ndaring in the development of Cunca Rami Waterfall Ecotourism. This community participation is influenced by the increasing popularity of the Waterfall, regional tourism development policies and economic motivation. The implications for community participation include: economic implications, socio-cultural implications, and environmental implications.

Abstract

Gawi dance’s one of the dance that has recorded as an Warisan Budaya Tak Benda (WBTB) but has not been designated as a national cultural. Literally, the meaning of the word GAWI is defined as follows: GA means reluctant or shy while WI means interesting, in the sense of uniting oneself.Ata Sodha is a poet using language of customs. Ata Sodha possess a role as a leader of Gawi dance and it belongs to a part of traditional ceremony. The probleems of this stuudy comprise of (1) How is the role of Ata Sodhain traditional ceremony Gawi dance of Tenda village community? (2) How is the perception of community regarding to Ata Sodha?. The theories being used in this research, namely role theory and simbolic interpretative theory.The concepts that are used among other: roles, Ata Sodha, Gawi dance and perception. In this reserch, descriptive qualitative method’s adopted, by the data source namely primary and secondary in which the data are collected by observing, interviewing literature review.The findings In this research points out that an Ata Sodha has an unseparable role in traditional ceremony. The brainwave that they obtain from their ancestors in form of ability to chant prayer and praise verses by using traditional language to make Ata Sodha have sufficient important role. In traditional ceremony, Ata Sodha plays the role as the lader in Gawi dance. Society expects that the existence of Ata Sodha remains exist in traditional ceremony

Abstract

This research discusses the dynamics of customary leadership patterns in the Karampuang customary hamlet of South Sulawesi and the impact of these dynamics. The problems that will be discussed in this research are (1) Why is there a dynamic of customary leadership patterns in Karampuang village (2) What is the impact of the dynamics of customary leadership patterns in Karampuang customary village. This research is a qualitative research using social change theory and leadership theory. as a basis for answering both problems. The results of this study reveal that the dynamics of customary leadership patterns in the Karampuang customary village are influenced by internal factors and external factors. The dynamics of customary leadership towards the community can be classified into several fields, namely the impact in the legal and environmental, economic, socio-cultural fields all of which have a beneficial impact on indigenous peoples; whereas the field of education is less profitable for indigenous peoples due to less motivation to demand higher education.
