Abstract

Adaptation is a process of human adjustment to the natural environment that has not yet been completed exploring the world of they live. The Covid-19 pandemic that has hit the entire world, forced the Province of Bali to have to sacrifice the tourism sector which has been the main source of the economy since the era of the Dutch East Indies Colonial Government. The absence of tourists who can visit Bali Province makes the people of Denpasar City have to rack their brains to formulate steps to adapt to changing times, including the immigrants. There are several immigrants who still survive in the city of Denpasar to face Covid-19 pandemic, one of the residents of the rented house "Morotai No. 4”. This study aims to decide the socio-cultural adaptation process carried out by immigrants in Denpasar City in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic through a case study by residents of the rented house "Morotai No. 4” in Dauh Puri Klod Village, West Denpasar District, Denpasar City. This research approach uses descriptive qualitative. With models. This research is expected to show the facts that occur in the field from a number of events and existing phenomena.

Abstract

Middlemen or intermediaries are viewed negatively in society, especially in the farmer’s economic system. The role of the middleman is not always negative, the middleman also has a positive side. Middlemen or vagetable collectros who are present in the midst of the tengger Brang Wetan farming community in Argosari Village, senduro, Lumajang Regency. Farmers who are producitve, but have better business instincts than other farmars. Middlemen who have been present in agricultural life are sometimes considered to have a negative connotation the emphasis of this research methodolgy is on the use of qualitative methods and the analysis focuses on interpretive descriptive, the relationship betweeen farmers and middlemen begins with tading namely the relationship between sellers and buyers where the position of sellers and buyer between farmers and middlemen can be exchanged depending on the time and circumstances and needs between the two parties.

Abstract

When clubbers want to enter a nightclub they must know the rules that apply in a club. The applicable rules are in the form of the type of clothing worn, minimum age, luggage that is allowed to be brought into the club. In the nightclub will be seen the characteristics, form of activity, and factors of attending a nightclub. The Covid-19 pandemic that is destroying much of the economy especially against club owners taking some action to save the existence of his club. With this formulation of the problems in this study are: 1. What are the characteristics, lifestyle forms of clubbers hedonism as well as factors that affect clubbers visiting a nightclub? 2. What is the situation of the night club in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic?. The method used in this study is qualitative as a support. The data sources used are types of primary and secondary data sources obtained through observations, interviews, literature studies, and documents. The analysis used is descriptive analysis. The study used David Chaney's theory of lifestyle and Jean P. Baudrillard's theory of consumerism.

Abstract

This study analyzes the tradition of elopement (merariq) of the Sasak tribe in Wanasaba Village, East Lombok Regency. The merariq tradition is a tradition that exists in the marriage of the Sasak people. The merariq tradition is considered an extreme tradition among the people, especially those outside the island of Lombok. This study focuses on two problem formulations namely; first, how is the existence of the merariq tradition in Wanasaba Village and the impact of the merariq tradition on family life and social life in Wanasaba Village. The approach used in this research is qualitative with descriptive type and analysis with Nurture and Nature theory and feminism theory. The existence factors of merariq are economic, ceremonies in the merariq tradition, extreme merariq tradition debate, and disapproval or no blessing from parents both from the female parents and the male parents.

Abstract

A tourism village is one kind of tourism that offers tourism potential owned by a village. Tampaksiring Village is one of the villages that had becoming a tourism village in Gianyar Regency, Bali. One of the concepts in the development of tourist villages is community-based development which focuses on local community participation. Thus, it is to be expected that the benefits of tourism will be more for the local community as the legal owner of the resources. This study aims to 1) identify and explain the profile of tourism potential in Tampaksiring Tourism Village, 2) explain the community participation in the development of Tampaksiring Tourism Village, 3) explain the implications of the development of Tampaksiring Tourism Village. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, literature studies, and document studies both online or offline. The theory used to analyze the problem in this study is the theory of participation and the theory of tourism impact. The results of this study indicate that the Tampaksiring Tourism Village has a variety of tourism potentials that can be developed as a tourist attraction. Local communities have a role in the planning, implementation, management, and evaluation processes in the development of tourism villages. Tourism activities in the Tampaksiring Tourism Village also have both positive and negative impacts on economic, socio-cultural, and environmental aspects.

Abstract

Research on the Existence of Heirloom Keris in the Era of Globalization (Case Study of Keris Craftsmen in Aeng Tong-Tong Village, Sumenep Madura) originated in the global era, keris is seen as an object that has its own elements and advantages. This study tries to examine the existence of heirloom kerises in the current era of globalization which is starting to develop. The main problem in this research is focused on the existence of heirloom kerises in Aeng Tong-Tong Village in the era of globalization. The theory used in this study uses the theory of symbolic interactionism and the theory of functionalism. The approach used is a qualitative approach with the type of descriptive-qualitative research. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The results of the study reveal that the kris as a cultural artifact, in the development of the era of globalization, is faced with two choices. First, the conservation view requires that all cultural forces are always oriented to the past, so they must maintain the core values ??of that culture. Second, the progressive view requires changes that lead to cultural modernization.
